September 2011 - The Planning Has Started!!!

Hey everyone!

I see I've missed a bunch of chatting...as usual.

I am so glad it's Friday! We put our DVC paperwork in the Fedex box this morning! Woot!!! Of course, they won't get it until Monday, but at least it's done. I took the stack to DH last night and just started laying it in front of him and saying "Sign. Sign. Date and sign." He finally asked "You have read all of this, right?"




I need to start planning out our 2012 trips so that I can make sure I book at the 11 month mark. It seems odd to be thinking about the next WDW trip without having to argue with DH about going every year.

I've made out my schedule and I'm trying to leave it for a couple days without looking at it because I keep changing it when I look at it all the time. I think I've got a good plan, but I want to drop it and look at it later.

MikellaCinderella -- I see that you are from the Quad Cities. I grew up in Davenport! Of course I haven't lived there for 11 years, but we try to go back to visit once a year.

My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary at Boardwalk Villas September 11-18! My first trip to WDW!!!!

I'm also already looking into the logistics of planning our trip for Oct of 2012!

I need to start planning out our 2012 trips so that I can make sure I book at the 11 month mark. It seems odd to be thinking about the next WDW trip without having to argue with DH about going every year.

I've been wanting to get a headstart on our 2012 trip as well, but we'll probably have to wait until real prices come out this summer. We love going to Disney in December, since it's always been a value season. But, in 2011, it's no longer considered a value season, so that might change things up for us. Wishful thinking that they'll revert it back to a value season in 2012! So I'll have to wait and see before planning our next vacation!

I love the idea of something you can frame! You could do a few different small-ish things and put them in a shadow box. Hmm... now my mind is wandering. I've got to think of something and get on making it.

Starting in April, the 7th of every month we're going to have a Disney night with dinner, activities and a movie that coordinate. I'm super excited to work on April's. I'm just not sure what movie I want to start with.

We did a Disney night every 2 weeks while waiting for our December trip. We would pick a movie and have food and decor themed around it. There is a great thread here about themes here
