You actually inspired us to try Big River Grille for the first time after reading your trip report! They don't take dining reservations, correct?

I hope you enjoy it! Nope, they don't take ADR's. We have never had trouble getting in right away though. We just try to go fairly early to avoid a wait -- usually by 5:30. But honestly I don't know if there would be a long wait later on or not. There is a lot of seating -- inside and outside.

Bought a Denny's gift card while at BJs today. Sure I only saved $1 but they have a special where two kids eat free for each adult meal purchased so it's almost an entire meal paid for already. Every little bit helps

YAY for all of the ADR's today!!! I can't believe that we are all getting into the 180 mark. Not too much longer for the rest of us who aren't quite to our ADR day yet!

So, what is this about Delta charging $25/bag each way?!?! We have not flown in a very LONG time. I need some info on this.
We fly southwest and get 2 bags free....it makes a difference

My back is still terrible. I'm going to the chiropractor later today and tomorrow. Something has to give because I can't even bend over. I was picking my 3 year old up a little bit ago and I dropped him. He was fine, but he just wouldn't put his legs down and I couldn't hold his weight anymore. Hopefully its way better tomorrow evening after the chiro a couple times.

I hope your back gets feeling better, I put my neck out a few days ago and cannot turn my head, and everytime I talk on the phone I have to hold my head up straight (no multi-tasking)

Made our ADR's on Sunday morning! We are traveling 9/2-9/10

I kept one day open because not sure what all of our park plans are.
The kids are 13 and 12 and wanted nothing to do with characters until now. So we are really looking forward to Chef Mickeys. We havent been to a character meal since they were 5 and 6. This is the last year I will take them out of school because next year my oldest starts high school. We are so excited about this trip!!

That's what I always said and both my boys have missed a week of highschool every year since they started....I always say you better not get sick this year, either you miss a week because you picked up a virus or you went to Disney...the power of positive thinking ..lol

Since we drive down I pack all our food but the kids will be begging for snacks everytime we need gas or stop to use the bathrooms. So we started "kindness jars." When I see my kids doing something especially nice for someone they get change in their kindness jar and when we drive to Florida (and back again) they can buy themselves some snacks that cheap-o mom and dad won't.

This is so cool! What a great idea!

So I am confused(even more then usual:lmao), I am looking at the hours the week of Spet the 19th to the 26th. We are planning to do the MNSSHP,that week and I see where they kind of sloted time spots for It,with out actualy titleing it, for the 20th and Friday the 23rd. But on wenseday the 21st they have no wishes that night, right along with tuesday and Friday wich makes me think that maybe they are looking at Wenseday to?. So here Is my delima we are doing HHN with express passes thaT friday(because they did not sell express passes on the opening weekend other then on Friday) of HHN,or at this point hopeing that It will start running that weelend. I want to make ADR's for that Tuesday the 20th,if there Is going to be a MNSSHP I would make Dinner ADR's for Cali Grill, if Its not I was going to make them for Hoop-De-Doo. So I guess this Is my real question after all, At this point whats the harder to get times for Hoop, or Cali for that Tuesday. I would hate to make one then,turn and find out the other Is going to be full. Sorry for the long question but this has been eatting at me for awhile,and our 180date Is comeing up on the 24th of March.

O YAY DANI!!!!!! SO glad she made it into the world safely and easily!!!!

Ok so I have a question for you all....... How much should I budget for spending $$ for my kiddos?? I'm thinking like one thing a day?? Unless its NOT a toy, like if they want say a fan from Japan or something...... thats a pretty... O and then a snowglobe each which is like $50ish...... so thats $700...... does that sound good, too much, not enough? maybe round it up to $1000 just to 'be safe'???

I don't know how many souvies DH and I will want... I think last time he got a few beers and a Vinylmation and a fedora w Jack Skellington on it..... LOL so maybe $150??

We give the kids $100 gift cards. We don't buy anything until the last days of our trip. During the week we take pictures with them of the things that they say to "Oh I want that!" Which they say that about five hundred times! Then at the end of the trip we look at the pictures and they pick the things that they REALLY want That helps with them not spending their money in the first two days of the trip and them being bummed for the rest because they spent all their money.

I got our autograph book in the mail today!!! It turned out really cute. This is our 2nd time making one like this. Of course I am super mad at myself b/c I realized I left Marie and Handy Manny out of the book Oh well. I'll try to add their pictures somewhere. Maybe I can just print them and tape them into the book. LOL!!! That is what I get for being in a hurry to make it.

That is a really good idea about the pictures. We usually just let our kids pick out one thing each day. ANd it's funny b/c sometimes one kid picks a $40 boba fett helmet and the other one picks a $10 keychain. LOL!

Thanks, I thought that up on our last trip because the kids would see stuff and buy it. Then at the end of the trip they would see something they really wanted instead of what they already bought and would be all bummed out cause they all ready spent their money. The pictures help them to remember what they saw at the beginning of the trip and helps them to pick the things that they really would enjoy.

No, but I am making most of them for this trip. My aunt made a lot of those and I bought the rest. I have finally become brave enough to make my own. LOL!! I have a lot of outfits to make this time. I have 3 boys, so that is about 14 outfits. Making them myself will save me a ton of money! LOL!
