September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

This will be our first trip to WDW and I am (along with my 4 year old DD) beyond excited; DH, mmm not so much I can't wait to see the castle in person for the first time!
As for our first, they will be:
MK--Dumbo, of course
DHS-- Toy Story Mania
Epcot: Seas w/Nemo ( not sure how DD would handle Soarin')
Ak--Kilimanjaro or Finding Nemo
Still working on plans though, so these could change

Okay, so now that we're all getting close...what will be the first attraction you'll go to? I think ours may be Splash Mountain or Haunted Mansion.

For those who are going for the first time, I'm so excited for you to take that first walk down Main Street and see the castle for the first time. I still get tearful! OOOh it's going to be such fun!!

Right now we are planning on MK for our first park.. so as long as we dont visit a park after our late arrival the night before, Haunted Mansion, or maybe Dumbo will be our first ride of the trip! Cant wait!

HS, this is hard for us because it is our fav park. ToyStory Mania will be first (at least to get FP) then ToT end R&R!!

We are starting with DHS and going right for Toy Story FP and then Jedi Academy. My son wanted to do this so bad last time but there was a storm and they canceled it. We are hoping for the best this time!

my MIL bought me a really cute pair of flip flops. they have Mickey mouse on them and the strap over the foot has gold sequins. BUT they are only a size Small (5-6) and that is WAY too small for my clodhoppers lol

Anyone want them? They've never been worn (well hannah wore them around the house once lol) and I can't use them so I might as well give them to someone who would enjoy them as much as I would have if they fit LOL

Those are super cute, but alas, I have monster sized feet!

We'll be starting our first day at Epcot, Soarin' first and then Test Track. We'll be after the major coasters first for each park. I have even promised to do EE in the Animal Kingdom! We're going to be hitting RD every day, to try and get the major attractions out of the way before the crowds bustle in. I'd rather run for an hour then relax at the end of the day!

Our first day we are at MK for lunch and plan on trying for one of the mountains before we take off to the Boardwalk!

shipping to canada isn't actually to much more than it is within the US so really if you would like them I could send them to Canada

I send stuff up there all the time since I'm actually canadian myself

I was planning to relax poolside but snce we are leaving so early and the room may not be ready we might just head straight to HS...and I LOVE the new star tours 3D. We rode it last month and it was AWESOME! I think thats gonna be the first ride.
We'll enter the park, FP TSM (if there are any available) and ride Star Tours. We go every year the day after Labor Day (for the week) and the park is pretty empty 10-20 min waits. I hope arriving at 11 we can still get a FP or the line will be less than 2 hour wait. maybe? LOL

Our first day is an easy day for us. We don't get in until after midnight. So we'll be taking it easy our first day but, we do have the Aloha dinner adr for 5:15. The next day is a Water park and finally our third day we are at Epcot. So, our first ride will be Soarin.
I can hardly wait.

When we went to DHS in June, we got FP at TSM andcthen went right to Star Tours and got right on with no problem. The next time we went, we went to TSM ad got FP, went to ToT next, and then Star Tours and we had to wait about 20 minutes, which wasn't too bad for June. I don't think you will have to wait too long for Star Tours.

We are going to DHS first day hopefully by rp, so we are hoping for TSM, if not then RNR for me and TOT for dbf. I can't ride TOT and he refuses to ride RNR.

Then a trip to Starring Rolls!! I have been drooling over pics of yum yums!
