September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

Hi September friends!!!!! I'm BAAAAAACKKKKK!!!!! Just took my last final exam for the Spring semester!!! No more classes for me until Fall!! Time to celebrate and get back to DIS'ing!! So excited!!!!!:dance3:

:banana:YEAH!! It was getting mighty quiet in here. Glad my partner in chatty crime is back :rotfl:

YAY! That sounds absolutely fantastic! :welcome: I have you added to the first post! :dance3:
Thanks so much! I look forward to chatting it up with everyone! April
 deal on your trip!

We're staying at the Beach Club for the first time in September (first time at a deluxe, we've only stayed value) and we are soo excited :yay:
Can't wait to hit SAB, Beaches and Cream, Cape May, Boardwalk, and walk to Epcot :woohoo:

:cheer2: You will LOVE BC! It has such a wonderful warm feeling to it! It's my new fave resort and we own at BLT! LOL! Yes. SAB is the best and having Beaches and Cream right there is sooooo neat! Oh and we also love Cape May Cafe... we eat there on every trip... breakfast and dinner!:lovestruc Have a wonderful trip!!:dance3: April

The Mermaid looks really cool! I think it's great that there's another option for the girls :cool1: We're going to stick with the pirate princess look, though I'm really liking the OPI POTC nail polish. I think I might have to pick some of that up! I did read on the official PL thread that depending on the popularity of the Mermaid, they may bring it back for Halloween, and then possibly permanently after that so there's still hope ;-)

I haven't even showed the girls the mermaid make over. I don't want to get there hopes up and it not be there. My girls are both going with the Pirate Princess also. I did buy the OPi Mermaid's tale and silver shatter.

This is the shirt I got them from Etsy for there PL transformation. It is black but I think it would be better than one of the costumes. I'm going to pair it with a pink skort.

Hi April haven't seen you much on GF's on the dis thread over there. But I thought I would say hi. I'm Riley&Reese over there.

Yes, I would love to see pictures of CRT! I currently have a reservation at CRT for 4:25 and one at Chef Mickey's for 5:15. I have to decide which one to keep. I keep swaying back and forth on it.

I wish I took pictures so I could show you! The only pictures of CRT I have are of the princess' with my son, none of the actually place itself! I do have a few at Chef Mickeys where you can see the restaurant, but mostly, again, of DS with the characters. I should really take some pictures of the scenery next trip :rotfl:

I'm here to join Sept to WDW. :goodvibes
DS 7 wanted to celebrate his birthday at WDW just like last year. Which I figure is a good way since I enjoy it as much as he does. Only down side was that DH could not join us since he'll be in Europe and then to Asia on extended trip for his work. :sad1: We debated maybe we should wait until he comes back for another time b/c idea of travelling just two of us scared me for bit. :sad2:

However, more I thought about it, I liked the idea of building a special memory with DS, just two of us. :rolleyes1 So we are all set from Sept 24~30 at POFQ.

ADRs are booked and our trip is paid for. We also managed to get a decent flight from PHL-MCO for a decent time. I like to arrive early (at least by noon) and depart late (6~7pm) to maximize our travel days which I got. :cheer2:

Let's just say that rising gas prices with inflation is definitely hurting us to put away some Disney money. But from the other posts, I shouldn't complain as much. I just got gas last night and it was $3.77/gallon (which is alot more than what I paid a few months ago). :scared1:

Yes, we are doing a split stay! :thumbsup2

We're at Pop for three nights and got the kids 8 day tixs free with the kids stay/play, then we switch over to the BC for 4 nights using our 40% room only discount :dance3:

We arrive at Pop on 9/13. On 9/16 we plan on checking out of Pop early and taking a cab over to the BC. We'll check-in, have an early breakfast at Cape May then the kids will go on the Albatross pirate cruise from the YC while DH and I check out the resort :cloud9:
We'll hang at the resort and later that day we have PL ressies and MNSSHP :cheer2:

I did plan more of our Epcot time towards the BC part of our stay and more down time so the kids can enjoy SAB, which is a big reason why we chose BC.

DH, the kids, and I are beyond excited! :woohoo: Without the great discounts we wouldn't have been able to swing the BC so I'm like a little kid, I'm so giddy about it, LOL :goodvibes

Just thought I would share some pics from our trip in December...spirit of Disney and all. Some pics of girls in the pool, since it is rainy here its nice to be reminded there is a sun:rotfl: The others are a pic of Garden Grove(at the Swan). It's not in the dining plan but we had a wonderful seafood buffet there(it's on weds and fri's-i think). and then Nelia with green soldier....

Between gas, oil and Dh getting layed off when the economey went bad and then getting a job with a 15,000 pay cut we have been staying at pop century. I very greatful that we still can go every year. I try to explain to my girls that not everyone goes to disney let alone every year. Are trip is paid and we have 1000.00 for spending. Which will be more than enough. Last year I think we spent around 650.00. My girls got some GC also so that will help. But I'm the mom on vacation that don't say no within reason. I would rather stay at a value and be able to do MNSSHP and PL and the extras.

We also found we really like pop. I thought the first year I would hate and and I actually love it. WE could afford a moderate this year but I'm in love with pop for a weird reason.

I would be excited to. One of these days we may do the AKL for some reason that resort just calls me. We did do WL one year and to me for the money I just wasn't in love with it.
Thanks for sharing your girls are so cute!! What kind of camera do you use your pics are awesome?
It's a Canon!! Love it....It's an SLR. If I remember a XL Rebel. I love how it captures the beads of water on their faces....great detail. It was about $600 but with Syd doing dance competition and Nelia dancing, soccer, tennis, etc. And then there is DIsney , so it was worth every penny!!

Thank you BTW....I think my babies are just gorgeous!! They must take after their mother!!:rolleyes1

Well.....................did you go with CRT or Chef Mickey's??????????????????
