I think Teppan Edo would be fun. We always meet interesting and friendly people at our table. I'm glad you are getting into your trip now. A solo trip would be heaven for a lot of people, believe me! Enjoy!

I would suggest Biergarten for lunch! The show is fun. We always meet interesting people at our table. And the food is good!! (especially the Bavarian cheesecake, YUM!!!)

Hope everyone is enjoying their 4th of July weekends! Have one project to turn in tomorrow, and then one on Friday...and I'll be done with my first masters' class! So excited! More time to enjoy summer and prep for Disney!

How is everyone's exercise and weight loss going? My boyfriend and I put up a spread sheet where we are holding ourselves accountable for 20-30 minutes of exercise a day...and we are marking them off as we do them..everyday til Disney and hopefully past it!
I have to get myself some new sandals for the park! Right now I have sketcher reggae rastas in dark brown and black http://www.skechers.com/style/46444/reggae-rasta/tan. I have also worn adidas and speedo flip flops and sandals. What is everyone's favorite footwear for the parks?

I have just discovered that I can DIS from my desk at work! Is it sad that this makes me so very, very happy?:lmao:

yeah - not having DIS at my desk would make me sad... lol... its the only way i stay sane with all the excitement of the trip... :cool1:

I am packing my New Balances, but only for emergencies. I am planning on wearing Teva Mush Flops (the original, the second generation ones stink!), and Teva Tirras for our full stay. Tried and tested, I LOVE my Tevas! :yay: My dieting is going in the wrong direction!:lmao: I got off of the turnip truck when I was working a ridiculous amount of hours, and am having a really hard time getting back on track.

I would be disappointed now, for certain, but they don't tend to give me much trouble with DISing; everyone knows I can type about it, or they have to listen to it!:rotfl:

what are Tevas?

Please add me to the list! I am going September 12-20 and will be staying at POFQ on the DXDP! Lots of food, here I come!

what are Tevas?

Teva is a shoe manufacturer that specializes in lightweight hiking shoes. They make hiking shoes, sandals and flip flops. The mush flops actually are made out of a material that conform to your feet after several wears, as well as built in arch supports. THEY FEEL SOOOOO GOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!!!! :lovestruc The Tirras are what I use for more active hiking, or rougher ground, but they still feel amazing. :cool1:

which ones do you recommend for hiking around the Disney parks... :) I love the idea of sandals because sneakers are so warm to wear...

I 2nd this! :thumbsup2 I love my Mush flip flops, I never leave home without them. After a day in the park they are the only ones that don't leave my feet feeling wrecked. My second choice are my Keen's, but I don't wear them when we are riding rides that will make us wet because the leather upper part can chafe when soggy.

I love the Tirras for all day touring if you're not a flip flop person; they're normally what I wear to Six Flags, Carowinds, etc. If you're up for flips flops nonstop, either of these are awesome.

I love my Mush flops, but to me they get slick if they're wet (and I am like a giant clumsy tree anyway) , so I always take both! I've never tried Keens before, may have to branch out and check them out!:surfweb: I agree, I wear them as often as I can get away with them. I got annoyed yesterday morning because my older DD ran away with them, so i couldn't wear them to work! :lmao:

I wear my men's hiking sandals all the time at home or at the parks, Not a flipflop person (feels weird having something between my toes). Remember when we called them thongs :rotfl2:

Last December was REALLY cold at WDW and I wore my sandals with dark fluffy socks :scared1: and was so very comfy.

I am NEW! I am also going in September 2011!! I haven' made a ticker yet, do i just click on it and follow the link? Thanks for any help! I am so excited this is our 2nd WDW trip and it's a surpise..But it's now less than three months away and I am having trouble keeping it from my DS8 and DS2 (although he doesn't really get it). I have been getting the ..mom why r u reading disney books?? Lmao...mom why did u buy a suitcase? I swear he hasn't put it together yet, but he might soon! I am 28 and DH is 31. So excited!!!!

:welcome: to the thread! What are your dates and where are you staying? I'd love to be able to add you to the first post! :dance3:

On that Epcot day, why not have Le Cellier for lunch since it would only be 1 table service credit instead of two? That is if what you are not wanting anything from the dinner menu that isn't on the lunch menu. Then you'd have an extra TS meal!

I'm having so much trouble with my computer, it's hard to read all the posts. But in case no one else suggested it, the Whispering Canyon Cafe is a TS restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge and is a lot of fun for the kids. The waiters are inter active with the diners and have special fun for the kids. The food is good too. The boat from MK is just a five minute ride to WL.:thumbsup2

Yes! I actually now have a Whispering Canyon reservation now. :woohoo:
