Those look great. I know we just made our adr's a few days ago. The only thing that I had to take a time I wasn't thrilled about was CRT. We prefer a early lunch beacuse we aren't big breakfest people. So we our reservation is 1:20 which isn't to bad. Did you book there today?

So... the crazy Disney dreams have started. My dream last night was that we finally were leaving for Disney. We got about an hour away from home and I realized that I forgot our itinerary. My husband just kept saying that we don't need it and I kept freaking out that it had our dining information that I had to know. We stopped at a library and they charged me $15 to use their internet and print off the things I needed. The weird part was that my friend was at the library with us. She is not going to Disney with us so I have no idea she was in my dream at the library with me. I think my dream is telling me that I need to start making a checklist of everything I need to pack. :lmao:

That is just too funny:rotfl: So what happens when you are a week away?

Wow! I haven't been on this thread in a while, and I can't believe how long that list is! Looks like all Dis'ers at WDW in September. Surely there won't be room for anyone else there with all of us that are going!!

@ L-Harper - I feel your pain on the Disney Dreams I did that last year! Mine won't come till closer to departure date since last years dreams were about not being able to get on the plane, etc. :scared1:

@ Disneymom0709 - Congrats on your weight loss that is sooooooo awesome for you! :thumbsup2

@ CluelessDisfan - Those ADR's look good, I wish I could have talked my 13 year old into some of those! I made some minor changes in ADR's today myself. Eating at Tony's all of a sudden became a must do for my kiddo:upsidedow

Hello everyone! I have a few pages to catch up on but I wanted to share some pictures from our trip to Chicago. We took DD1 by train to Chicago where we went to a Cubs game, did some shopping, and I attend a NKOTBSB concert (:cheer2:Yeah:cheer2:). It was a quick two night trip but I feel much more prepared for Disney because of it. I have some travel items purchased now and a better idea of how things are going to work. DD1 is a super great baby and did awesome!

I know that Disney is going to be so much easier for us than Chicago was. We took the train which was great but we had to mess around with luggage and ME will take care of that problem at WDW. We also had to use buses, the "L", and changed hotels . I know that WDW will be easier to navigate than that nonsense was! I also found out that DD1 is very content to be in her Egro carrier which was a lifesaver walking back to the hotel from Michigan Ave when she fell asleep, and in Union Station when there were a freakin BILLION people waiting for trains that had no gate :scared1:. We took LOTS of cool little treats and snacks and had a stash of fun little toys. So I totally feel like we were prepared. :)

Now on to the pictures; we took DD1 to................................
::MickeyMothe Disney Store::MinnieMo; of course! It was her first trip to a Disney Store as we do not have one. She LOVED  it! We spent like 1 1/2 there. I can't wait to take her to WDW!
:yay:

Hope everyone is doing great and getting ready to kick the summer off this Memorial Day Weekend!:cool1:

Hi, I just found this thread! We'll be going from the 17th to the 24th this year! Originally it was supposed to be my sister and I, but she unexpectedly found out she was pregnant last month, and she's already 4 months along! Being due on September 13th makes it a no go, but my brother graciously stepped in :rotfl2:. He's 26 and never been, so he's pretty excited!

Congrats to your sister! Hope you and your brother have a great trip. It should be lots of fun to share in his first Disney experience.

Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome...you look fantastic! I'm working on losing 50 lbs. It's slow going, but hopefully by September I'll be close to goal. Thanks for sharing.

We are booked for 9/28-10/3. We were originally at AMS family suite but I just rented points to upgrade to Old Key West 1 bedroom villa. So excited. The room size almost double with AMS 520 sqft and OKS 920 sqft. Traveling with DH, DS 6, DS 3, and my cousin 12 (to help with the boys) so all the extra room will help. The best part was that it I found a great price to rent points and it was only $56 more to upgrade from value to deluxe villas. DIsney refunded my entire deposit even the insurance for the AMS reservation.

We are also doing the Dining Plan. Did great with airfare. $100each for the trip there. DH and I each opened a Southwest Visa card and we each got just about 2 flights free each. So airfare total for all 5 was around $800. Also have about $800 in Disney gift cards to just about pay for the dining plan. :cool1:

jrw - I have seen the DVC rental sites. How to rent to "upgrade"? Do you mean you are renting ALL the points to pay for the villa or can you rent the "difference" in points. If so, how is that done? I am quite content to stay at CSR, but would also be happy to upgrade to CR or the Poly.

Can anyone advise me about strollers in the park? I have found a few rental sites but I am curious if people found them to be a benefit or a pain? No issues of people stealing them? What do you do with them when dining or on a ride??

Sorry for the confusion. I rented all of the points from a dvc owner and cancelled the reservation with disney

Hi, I've been MIA while we've been busy planning and life, etc. Our dates are the same but we will be the full 2 weeks at BCV!!!

I have not rented a stroller, so I can't help you there. But when you are on a ride they have "Stroller parking" areas. If you leave your stroller somewhere else the CM's will move it and park it where it should be.

Most restaurants they make you leave it outside as well.

Just booked our Sep 17-22 trip today! :woohoo: DH and I are staying at Port Orleans - French Quarter & can't wait to see the updated rooms. Of course, we're attending MNSSHP on the 20th -- 3rd time for this party; we just LOVE it!!
