September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

AHHHH!!! My ticker is at 3 months and 2 weeks. CRAZY!!! :scared1: I have to admit, I'm actually getting nervous about our vacation. Ten days with two very little boys. I feel like I have so much to do, but can't really do anything right now. Is that weird? Normal? It's a strange anxiety feeling I've been having about it for the past week and a half or so. Am I just crazy? :lmao:

Oh I totally understand. I already started packing the bag of toys/books to occupy the kids in the car....:rolleyes1

What sort of lists do you keep? (ie: packing list, task list, ...whatever)

I have more lists than any person could ever need....

When my little one takes a nap I'll pop back on to list my lists...

I wish I could do 10 days, but I just can't justify being away from home that long! We have a large dog that has to be boarded and he gets terrible separation anxiety if we leave him too long at the kennel. With DH's job and mine, it just seems like too long to be away. :sad2:

Wish me luck. I just started a strength training routine and I am on day three. (Day one was sunday with weights and a long walk for the dog, yesterday was just the long walk, and tonight we are going to up to a few jogging steps and the weights again.)

This is new for me, since I am not an *exercise* person. I was pretty sore yesterday but today it's much better and I am ready to try again.

How do these sound...

Day 1: WPE or AMC (hoping they have a good movie) at DTD,
Boma for dinner

Day 2: WCC for lunch
Ohana (though it is not until 9:45, so will be looking to get an earlier
one) or may just go to Tambu lounge (for some wings and potstickers)

Day 3: Beaches & Cream or ESPN for lunch
50's for dinner

Day 4: (offsite to US/IOA) Emerils for lunch
Bubba Gump Shrimp for dinner

Day 5: (another offsite day at "Malls" gotta get some Xmas shopping done)
California Pizza Kitchen for lunch
Cheesecake Factory for dinner

Day 6: Olivia's for lunch
Sanaa for dinner

Day 7: Boma for breakfast
Yak & Yeti for late lunch...then off to MNSSHP

Day 8: Food & Wine Festival and probably some Nachos from Mexico
Jiko for dinner

Is there still a September weight loss thread? With less than four months to go I should really start  I need a little more :yay: and a little less :surfweb:popcorn:::happytv:

We are so excited about our first trip this September!!:cool1::cheer2::cool1::cheer2: My DH asked me the other day, "So, how many days do we have left?" I had to go look at our countdown calender and it was on 126 days. He said it will be here before we know it. I can not wait because things at my job are CRAZY!!:scared1:

Praying for those in the Midwest dealing with tragedy and more storms.

:welcome: I tried to see if I had you added to the first post, but I didn't see you when I skimmed through. Would you like me to add you? If so, what are your travel dates and where will you be staying?

I haven't even started to think about packing yet. I have picked up a couple of things for the trip here and there. The girls have there summer clothes but are just starting to wear them now. I will proably start more with that once we are a month out.

I do have a list of extra things I want to do this trip.
MNSHHP
Pl for the Girls
Hairwraps for the girls
T-rex and build a dino
Tukser house breakfest
Also I have always wanted the girls to do one of the pictures they do in the lobby at pop. So this year that is on my list to. I plan to get MNSSHP tickets and some GC for T-rex so those will pretty much be covered and won't take from our spending cash.

I suggested Windsor Hills or Bonnet Creek to a friend of mine. She has a larger family and needs to keep cost down. I thought both of these places look really nice. Have you ever stayed at WH?

No, this is our first time off site. The price is so darn good, I couldn't not try it. We took the "tour" online and we are looking forward to it. I hope I like it as much as I think I will, it will make more frequent vacations possible. My goal is to alternate on-site and off-site.

There are a lot of reviews here of the off-site places that really helped. I know someone in this thread stayed at WH before, but now i can't remember who.

Dh and I stayed at all-star movies in Sept 09 we LOVED it! I agree it looked a bit worn, not dirty by any means. We were in the mighty ducks so we spent most of our time in that pool. The food is pretty standard I think most values have the same food, we walked to music. A lot to eat because it was actually closerand the same with the buses we used music busses. We have stayed at the poly on our honeymoon and there's a reason why we continue to stay at the vaules! Dh wants to try sports next trip, I'm all for it! You do syare buses so they tend to be.more crowded but not always I don't remember waiting more than 20 minutes for a bus. Great mousekeeping too!
