September 2011 Check-in... Dates and Ressies?

FergusBC, I always love the whatever answer cause I usually take it to mean yes also. Cruise then DL how awesome! My youngest 2 will be in 1st and 5th as well. I will update the first page to include your information. Let me know where you are staying.

Funny you should ask...:goodvibes

Right now we have a room booked at the Ramada Maingate *and* a room booked at the Park Vue Inn :...but I think we'll be cancelling the Ramada in favour of the slightly shorter walk from the PVI. DH is having mobility issues nowadays so the less walking the better for ol' gimpy :rotfl:

:lmao: Sorry about your DH's mobility issues. I have updated your hotel and I know when we waited for the shuttle last year we had wished to stay right across the street, so I hope it works out well for you. Looks like lots of Disney magic :wizard: is planned for your trip.

Right there with ya!!!

On a side note, I've decided I hate planning trips in advance. I miss the good ol' days [i.e. before kids] when I could decide on a trip one day and leave the next morning! This anticipation stress is killing me!

We'll be there Sept 16th - 22nd. Dh, and DD 6 yrs have been there once, this is my second trip and my BF and her DD's 1st trip. We are so excited !

Can't Wait! We've planned a family trip for Sep 20-27 we're staying at the desert inn and suites!

Yay!

We are surprising the kids with an unexpected trip to DL Sept 29th to Oct 2nd, staying at the Hilton Anaheim. Kids won't know till we leave for the airport. This is our second trip to the mouse this year, the second time surprising the kids and the first time the family will be visiting DL during Halloween time. I visited DL SOLO last year in Oct for 9 blissful days without the family, and can't wait to experience the Halloween holiday in DL with the family.

It's official, I booked the tickets! We're going from Sept 10th-17th and planning on 5 days in DL and one day at Legoland. I have reservations at the Park Vue Inn, but I'm not totally convinced we'll stay there.

Awww! I LOOOVE planning trips in advance. I love the anticipation! LOL! I have spreadsheets, notcards, etc. And everything is synced on all my calendars. It's fun for me. :rotfl:

Soooo anywaysssss...since our APs are going to expire in on the 2nd week of October, we've decided that we'll be going on our last Disney trip in September. Well, last Disney trip for a while anyways. (I'm planning a huge WDW trip for 2013 when we get our Premier Passes!!!)

Our dates are: Sept. 28 - Oct. 5! So we'll be there on my birthday (the 29th)! Yay! :cheer2: I'm trying to work out a budget where we'll be able to to stay at PPH but we'll probably end up just staying at our usual (Super 8). Sooo excited! We'll be doing HalloweenTime for the 2nd year in a row! And we're planning on going to the Halloween Party on Oct. 3rd.

Yay! Have you though about Mickey's Halloween Party for September 30th 4pm to 12am and October third 3pm to 11pm? If so You could do six day parkhoppers and then on MHP nights do the parties, sleep in and hang out by the pool etc. during the day. Hope you have a :wizard: magical visit!

Thanks to jory29, we are now going to DLR Sept. 15-18! We originally had October reservations but she let us have her Kids Suite reservation in September (and at Ent card rates!!!).

We are super excited as it's our girls' first trip and I haven't been to DLR for over 15 years (sometime in 1995!). My eldest is quite timid, so I'm a little nervous she will be scared of the Halloween decorations. I've been showing her photos so far and I know we will be skipping HMH, SM, and ToT while we're there. She doesn't even like the regular dark rides I've showed her on Youtube (including the new Ariel ride despite the fact that she LOVES Ariel) so I can only imagine how terrified she would be of the themed rides.

About when will "good" discounts for Sept be announced? I'm hoping they will be good enough that I can convince hubby to let me switch us to something on property! :thumbsup2

How wonderful for you and how nice of jory29 to do that for you. My advice is take your first day slow and if your daughter is timid do the open rides first carousel, Dumbo, Tea Cups maybe one of the main street vehicle. Toontown is also bright and cheerful. You'll have a wonderful time!

Chereya from everything I've been reading speculation is late July to Middle of August is when we should hear about fall. Recommendations have been to make a hotel reservation only and then you can switch the reservation to a deal when they come out to secure a room. Hope this helps :)
