September 2011 Check-in... Dates and Ressies?

I'm so sad that Pirates and Screamin will most likely be down when I am there, but at least I am going late enough in September to avoid the other refurbishes. I will miss Pirates, but there's plenty of other fantastic stuff to do.

We will be staying at the Ramada Maingate 9/17-9/24 for our 2nd anniversary! (1st was at WDW ;p)

I get to join this thread! Yeah!

We were planning another trip to Disneyland for Christmas time but my husband just is not going to be able to take any time off. He knows how much I love Disney so he suggested that I take my mom with us in his place. His favorite time at Disneyland is Christmas so I decided to change the dates to Halloween time, so he wont be as bummed. (He is not a real fan of Halloween time). Though I am disappointed for him to not be going with us on our trip I am super excited to be going with my mom! Last time I went with her my oldest was only 2years old. (My boys are now 10 and 4). We have so much fun together and it will be great quality time with Grandma!! I am also excited for her to go on things that will be new for her. She has not been on the Buzzlight year ride, the Nemo ride, Toy story Mania, and of course the Little Mermaid Ride and the New Star Tours. :woohoo:
We are also going to be flying instead of driving (my mom doesnt want to drive). So the kiddos are super excited to be going in an airplane!

We are staying at the Best Western Park Place Inn September 18 - 22 (my first time at this hotel) :) I always walk past it to other hotels on Harbor and my tired feet wish I was staying there instead. :rotfl: So this trip we get to be right next to the crosswalk! Yeah.

I booked our hotel Monday night!!!! :cool1: We get there Sept. 7th until the 14th and we'll be staying at Desert Inn and Suites. Hubby thinks I am a little too exited given that we still have 7 months left. lol My baby turns 3 while we are there! Anybody know what the crowd situation might look like? My in-laws treat us every other year and last time we went it was spring break.:scared: It was a little too crazy for them. lol I have promised them this should be much more relaxed!:hippie:

Bumping up our trip a few days. We will be arriving on the 4th now and leaving the 11th. Now to decide which days we want to be park days. We are also trying to squeeze in a beach day and a couple baseball games. We'll be at the Angels vs. Yankees game on Fri. but DH and FIL would like to do one more. Here's hoping all the refurbs are staggered enough that we can get on all our favorite rides. Yay for less than two months to go!!

We'll be doing our first ever Disneyland trip this Sept. 1-5 (by birthday) for the Disneyland 1/2. We haven't booked anything yet since we only just got approved for the time off. I have no idea what hotels/motels to book or what are the good/bad/ugly options, as well I am not stressed out trying to find flights but I am hoping I can make this last-minute planning work. :woohoo:

Thanks for posting about this. It had not occurred to me it would still be baseball season when we get to Anaheim. We have been to see the Angels once and also went to a Padres game when we were in San Diego. I had a look on the Angels website and was thrilled that they have home games on September 27th and 28th. I think we will try for the 27th. I am so excited.

Hours finally posted for my trip!!! It's finally getting closer. :dance3: Just wish HM was open that weekend. I can't remember the last time I saw the ride w/o the overlay or it being closed to put it in/take it out. :sad2:

So it is official...It was posted on Disneylands Park hours that POTC, BB, HM, CS are all going to be down for our planned September trip. :sad1:
So we are going to change our trip to August 26 to September 1.
I guess the good thing about all this...We get to go sooner! Hope you all have a great time!!

Could someone post the link to the closed attractions on the official Disneyland website?

Good Morning September Travelers -

I have updated all of your dates and reservations and am excited so many of us will be able to visit in September. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Does anyone know why the entertainment (especially Fantasmic and fireworks) are not yet listed on the official park hours for Sept. 2011?

I'm not sure about the calendar, but I doubt the entertainment schedule will be much different than it was last September. That's off-peak season, so I think that fireworks and Fantasmic will only be showing Friday - Saturday - Sunday, and World of Color will show every night in DCA.

The Halloween party begins on 9/30 (Friday), so Disneyland will close at 7 p.m. on that night to non-party guests, and only exclusive party guests will get to see the Halloween Screams fireworks.

More info will be filled in as the dates get closer. The info comes in several waves.

We'll be in LA September 13-17, going to Disney 15-16. Staying at either Anaheim Quality Inn or Best Western Park Place. And we're super excited!! :D

I'll be visiting on the 12th for my Birthday and staying at the Disneyland Hotel for one glorious night :woohoo:!! Then my friend and I will be returning on the 15th and 16th, and most likely just staying at her house for those dates. We are thinking of booking the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour for the 12th, if there are any spots open still. I just booked my airfare this morning :banana::banana:so let the planning begin!! I just love Disneyland :goodvibes:goodvibes!!!
