September 2011 Check-in... Dates and Ressies?

Thanks for adding me and the link!

Now we just have to wait for summer to be over... Ahhh!!! :goodvibes

Your welcome! I can't wait for warmer weather! We are so cold right now that one of our pipes cracked last night. Hubby had to take a vacation day to fix it and most of our stores are out of weatherproofing materials. We are talking about Arizona here :scared1:! Oh well we are not the only ones DD's schools may be closed tomorrow for the same reason, giving us a three day weekend :thumbsup2!

That's crazy!! If you want you can come up to the Bay Area, we're supposed to be low 70's this weekend. So much for winter!!:rotfl2:

Hey Guys

I am looking at Sept 20-27 as our next visit but was just checking HoJo and only 20 and 21st only avaliable with ENT rate - is this time a very busy time in the parks??? Would love anyones thoughts

September 11th - 16th.

Disneyland Hotel.

Yes, we're flying on the 10th anniversary of 9-11. But we were married three days after 9-11. I figure a little extra time allowance at the airport for extreme pat downs. :confused3

My fifth time at DLR, but it's my wife's first time. Oh, and she won't know until we're on the way to the airport. I hope. I'm telling her we're going to visit her family in Oklahoma.

We are coming 9/2-9/5 for the 1/2 marathon. Had hoped for VGC but they were full so we will be off site at the Sheraton

We finally got water back at 2pm Sat. It was crazy! Now I'm trying to catch up on the never ending :laundy: task! Thanks for the invite :worship:!

ENT rate goes fast and they limit the amount of rooms they do at this rate. Sometimes they add days. You might want to check out the Halloween Superthread because the decorations will be being put up about this time.

How exciting! Surprising the wife and staying at the DLH :thumbsup2! Airport security may be tight but you should be okay. Happy Anniversary!

1/2 marathon sounds like an absolute blast! Have tons of fun!

Your dates and ressies have been updated! :)

Alrighty! Finally got in a little discussion with my DH today about dates for our annual trip this year. Looks like we will be heading for Disneyland September 18-October 1. I haven't finalized our plans yet for lodging but did make a tentative reservation with Anaheim Desert Inn. Guess I can go find myself a trip counter now! :woohoo:

I booked our hotel Monday night!!!! :cool1: We get there Sept. 7th until the 14th and we'll be staying at Desert Inn and Suites. Hubby thinks I am a little too exited given that we still have 7 months left. lol My baby turns 3 while we are there! Anybody know what the crowd situation might look like? My in-laws treat us every other year and last time we went it was spring break.:scared: It was a little too crazy for them. lol I have promised them this should be much more relaxed!:hippie:

Are you staying in the one bedroom with the living room and kitchen? We are looking at the one bedroom with the second room having the two beds, fridge and micro.

We were going to but my Mom has decided to come along and she doesn't want to sleep on the pullout sofa. I don't think we will need the kitchen this trip since they have improved the breakfast. The rest of the day we eat in the parks or in DTD. :goodvibes

It will be totally different from Spring Break! We did Spring Break once and I swore we would never ever do that again :scared1: The crowd should be light with short wait times. Just be prepared for some rides to be down for refurbishment. Enjoy your trip :wizard:

Sounds like a lot of fun :cutie:.

Already booked and in-laws treating... What could be better? I've heard the middle of September is pretty calm. You should have a fantastic time.

We're checking into the GCV 9/11/11 and checking out (but not leaving right away) on DS's birthady, 9/16!:cake:

I did a trip report for my last trip with no photos - am sure if i find the time i can do some live reporting whilst on our trip maybe not the whole trip but can concentrate on our leg in Anaheim

Hubby and I just decided (tonight) to take DD to Disneyland for the first time this September! Dates TBD but should be around the 10th or so. She will be almost 3!! I am getting sooo excited!! I can't wait to see her reaction to everything! Is she too young for the BBB thing?? She is VERY girly..Any thoughts or suggestions or recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Oh..do I need to bring anything with me to show she is not 3yrs old yet?? Or are they good about trusting the parents?? Anyone know??

We will be there Sept. 24th to Oct. 1st :woohoo::yay:

We are staying at Dolphin's Cove Restort. This will be our first time at Dolphin's cove so I will have to write a review.

We are going for my uncle and I's birthdays. It's my uncle's 50th so we are going to supprise him with the trip. My Aunt and I have been planning this trip since 2/10, so we been waiting a long time. They are staying at GCV in a 2br. Can't wait to check out the GCV. We are going to traid our Timeshare with them next year, we get the GCV and they want Hawaii or Las Vegas.

 Sept. just seems so far away.

I just booked 25 Sept - 30 Sept at the VGC. We are brand new DVC members and have some extra points to burn.

I'm excited, because we haven't been to Disneyland in 7 years. I think it should feel very fresh.

On the other hand, I've never gone to DL in September before. And the lack of hours/refurbs this far out are driving me crazy (I guess I'm used to the early planning at WDW).

Also, what should the weather be like in September? I've seen charts with average temps for the month, but I'm wondering if it's still shorts weather or more like jeans/light jackets weather.

We last went in mid/late October and found it to be quite cool. We are all wearing jeans and sweaters in our pictures from that trip. ;)

Excited to count down with you all! :thumbsup2
