September 2010 ADRs

I made some changes to my ADR.....

Instead of Akershus on Tuesday now it is on Friday. In its Tuesday place I booked the Coral Reef. On Friday, I ditched the San Angel Inn and booked Akershus in its place. We went ahead and added Le Ceiller for lunch on Saturday the 18th.

Is LTT at 11:35 am lunch? I assume it is, but just verifying. We would like to do an early lunch tere on our MK day.

I'm super happy - after worrying that I wouldn't get my ADR's from all the talk I went online this morning and got everything. I then called the dining line for the Fantsmic Package and got that too - the CM was super friendly too!

My sister is a pretty "fussy" as in bland eater so I've had to cater to that but I told her that we were going to Le Cellier even if she only ate the bread!! hehe

Just need to book 2 more bookings in the next few days but it's exciting and I've still got 180 days to go!!!

We got pretty close to all the times we wanted. We also gave the TA times within a half hour. Like we wanted Le Cellier between 11:30-12:00.

I can't believe I got everything I wanted within 15 minutes of my perfect time

4 adults one child (12) Including 2 type one diabetics, hence the importance of the time of our reservation.

All our favorites, and one new place to try. I'm a little worried about Kouzzina with all the bad reviews lately. We tried it last year right after it opened and we thought the service (Debra) and the food were outstanding. I'm giving it another shot, because we all loved it.

I was also surprised to see Tusker House for a 5:15 reservation on a day when the park closes at 5. Hmmm...

I really wanted to try Le Cellier this year... we got in the night before you on the 9th!!!!

We aren't planning to do MNSSHP, but looking at the calender kinda gives a hint as to when they might be.... the nights that MK closes at 7pm!
Sept 3, 8, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, and 30.... they also close at 6 on the 10th and 11th but those are for NOJ.

I love Restaurant Marrakesh......it is amazing the bad reviews it gets. I figured out that there is no pleasing everyone. Other than Ohana's....its another favorite of ours. We did skip it this year......but, my brother wanted to try other ones this year. So sad.

I can't wait till our trip.

no ADR--9/24..toying with the idea of doing MNSSHP twice this trip.

9/26 --going home will head to MK for a few hours..maybe lunch at Columbia Harbor House.

We are there for for 11 days/10 nights and since 2 of the ADRs take up 2 credits, I left 2 days ADR free-we may want to check out the Harry Potter park one day amd the other day will be kind of a laid back day. I know some people don't feel that having both Club Level and DDP is necessary, but I like having options.

You are lucky!!! I have to wait until Friday...I have been reviewing my spreadsheet every night for the past three weeks.

I am just hoping they do not announce any new promotions before that!! If its free dining (which I will not be using), I just want to get in before all the free diners who haven't made reservations yet!!!

Same here! I hope they don't announce free dining! I can't start making mine til Tuesday, but we haven't made the room reservations yet (we're doing it this weekend when my aunt comes home from London on a business trip), so I have to get up early EVERY morning to do them for each day and I still can't book CRT breakfast until next weekend b/c we'll attach it to room reservations. There is NO WAY I am letting them charge me over $200 on my credit card and then going through the hassle of getting it back once we make reservations. I just hope we're still able to get CRT around 8AM like I hoped.

The FD promotions did not come out last year until March 30. Hopefully that won't interfere with your reservations. But, most people that go during this time already book their ADR's and if it isn't offered.....they cancel it. Good Luck!

That is what I had thought...but I am reading comments that people are waiting until it is announced before booking a resort reservation...also, I read a thread that someone had stated that if people are indeed booking resorts in anticipation of FD that Disney may not offer it or may downgrade the offer as they will not see a need to pull people into World since people are "booking" on their own accord...after all, the reason for the offering is to fill up the resorts during a slow time of year.

As of now...I am still finding lots of time slots open for lots of pretty decent restuarants...Le cEllier, Cali Grill, CRT (although I think people are choosing the less expensive options with that one...we have already done those...so now we are switching to CRT...hopefully), CP, Chef Mickeys.

I think I am spending too much time on these boards...and worrying about things I have no control over...
