It makes me sadthat there seems to be so many people who are still looking for reservations, when many people seem to have double and triple booked, or made reservations for restaurants they don't really care for.
I understand that plans can change, it is free dinning and food and wine but why is it that it is September and people are still holding on to extra reservation.
It just doesn't seem fair.
I do love the kindness of people sharing but please let go of your reservation if you don't plan on using them as soon as possible so others may enjoy their Disney dinning experience.![]()
) and I don't even have free dining
I was going to pay out of pocket but looks like I should forget buying the Dining Plan all together and stick with cheap eats for the week!
so they pick a few choices and decide when they are there! It's unfair for everyone else but because the way Disney is doing this I completely get it and I blame Disney for allowing this to happen! You don't even need to have a reservation to book dining!!! So ultimately I can book reservations a few months from now in the hopes I MAY want to take a vacation in the spring even if it's not definite or in the spring book reservations under the assumption free dining will be offered! This is really frustrating
and I just wish Disney would change this system.I couldn't agree more! This whole system is screwed up IMO. I booked a trip about a month ago and I can't seem to get anything. (except for the few offers from fellow DISers who I can't thank enough!) and I don't even have free dining

People are double and triple booking because of the way the system is set up having to book 90 and soon back to 120 days out and I completely understand why they are doing it. Who the heck knows what and where they want to eat 3 or 4 months from now?so they pick a few choices and decide when they are there! We are paying out of Pocket as well being DVC members and had our trip booked 11 months ago! On our scheduled day to book dining at 90 +10days out we were unable to do online dining at 6am due to a glitch for DVC members and had to wait a whole full hour before calling WDW Dining or 3 hrs to call DVC MS! By the time we got on... we had nothing that we really wanted but have to hang on to it as if we give it up, we'll end up with nothing at all. Hoping for trades.... we have 18 days to go!

)We are finalizing our day-to-day plans for our trip & just added a night on to the beginning & 2 nights to the end of our trip!!
So, I have some pretty decent ressies that we're not going to use & wanted to offer them up to anyone before I cancel them so I can just change the name on them if needed!
9/16 CA Grill 9:05pm (WISHES @ 8pm) party of 8 (6 AD 2 CH)
9/21 Le Cellier 2:45pm party of 8 (6AD 2CH)
9/27 50's Prime Time 11:25am party of 4 (2AD 2CH)
Let me know if you want any of them! I'll probably cancel them by Friday!
I was on the computer first thing in the morning, 90 days out, and could not get the reservations I wanted. My first choice and favorite restaurant is Le Cellier. We will be arriving Sept 21. The only thing available was 1:30 so I grabbed it. I've been on disiney dining a hundred times since to see if there was anything available on Sept 21,23,24 and cannot find anything. I know it's crazy, but we go for the food, as our children are no longer interested in going with us. My vacation won't be complete without a meal in Canada. I don't know if I can even make the 1:30. We're arriving in Fla at noon. I would love to trade for any other time during those 4 days.
I also am holding onto an extra Coral Reef. First I got a lunch at 2:55, then found one last week for 4 on the 22nd. I'm willing to trade one or one plus Le Cellier for any later le Cellier. I was debating about the Coral Reef time because I'm going to the Halloween Party at the MK at 7, so maybe, should keep the earlier, though I'd rather have dinner.
Anyone have Le Cellier to offer?
Pretty please.
