I've already booked a room at POP from 9/21-9/25/08 so I hope if they offer it that those dates fit for the Free Dining! We stayed at POP last year the first week in September and thought it was a great offer for the money!

It seems like some people reported not being able to use the 40% off code - regardless of check-in date. I would think this trend would be the same...

You might want to go the 40% off thread and confirm that there.

I'm not sure what you are talking about? I was talking about free dining. Not the 40% off. That is a completely different offer and cannot be used with free dining.

We waited patiently last year for free dining.
We already has ressies but just rebooked when free dining was offered.
Around the first-second week in April.

WE never ate so good in Disney!

They offered the bounceback with free dining and folks in the UK were already offered.....I can't imagine they will not offer free DDP......this is once nicety that get's familes in the park.

Was it much of a problem to switch your reservation? I'm curious because I want to book next month for September. We are going regardless of free dining or not.

When we went this January we got an AP discount after we already booked our rooms. All I had to do was call and ask about the discount and they upgraded our exsiting reservation.

Do your vibes say it will be free dining at the value resorts, too? I read the earlier post about it only being at moderates and deluxes and am getting worried.

Help! I just got a PIN today by email for 30% off a Value resort room for some flexible dates or a room at a value resort for 82.00 a night from Aug. 3 through Oct. 1. Either way for 6 nights it would only save us about 200.00 dollars. If we get free dining we save closer to 100.00 dollars a day by not having to buy food. I guess my questions are this... does the PIN have an expiration date and could that PIN be used to book at a Moderate? The Free dining really saves us more and we get eat at Table Service meals (which we wouldn't normally do). But I am afraid that if I wait until April to see if they even offer Free Dining I won't get that or the room deal. Thanks guys for any answers. Hopefully my question made sense.

This is probably the wrong response but my answer is, When in doubt book the trip. You can always change things around later if you get a better deal or free dining. And if no better deals come along you still get the 30% off.

That is what I would have said too. But good for you for even getting a discount. I have never gotten one.

I believe you can book the 40% offer now and if free dining comes out and is better deal you can change the package. I have never done it but have read it can be done. You can not have both the 40% and free dining together. It's one or the other.

Your email should have an expiration on it. But you could most likely be able to call and ask.

I too am hoping for free dining. We had it Sept 2007 and couldn't eat all the credits. We ended up grabbing snacks to bring home.

I think you're correct. It is usually one discount per trip. Now, wouldn't it be nice if we all got 40% off our room, free dining and park hopper upgrades? we can dream, right?

We're booked for deluxe too! I can't wait to have a nice character breakfast & still be able to do a TS dinner. It is really going to be a fun trip!
