I decided to give the Diamond Horseshoe a try (they still have TONS of times available, by the way). Hope it's good!

I wasn't even sure until I called the dining line (I'd heard about it on here, but wanted more information). Here's what I know:

It's new, and it's in the Magic Kingdom (Frontierland I think..?). Anyway, it's family style, and they serve things like turkey, carved roast beef, mashed potatoes, etc. Very down-home sounding. For my non-foodie soon-to-be-DH, it sounded like a good option for us. Plus you can't beat the fact that there are tons of ADR's available still. I vaguely recall on here that people were saying it's a good alternative to LTT (where we have an ADR to already too).

yes, Diamond Horseshoe is used as an overflow of dining when it is solid book elsewhere in MK, at certain dates. It's next to LTT. ( i believe they have same kitchen) and from what i hear, same food as LTT. Except it not a character dinner. Diamond Horsehoe used to be a show in mid 70 and 80's of the 1880's western show. I think it turned into a Woody and friends show, (but i may be mistaken thinking of Disneyland instead ) It is indeed very nice inside. I have ressies there because i really don't care if there are characters or not, since my kids are older now anyway, I am just as happy to get the home goods meal, sitting down in MK!!!
