Okay gals the pixie dust must have worked!
Things are better than yesterday and the day before but still have some issues with my son but he will just have to do it on his own from now one I am only human and only one person and can live only one life at a time.
I had a talk with him last night face to face and told him excatly how I was feeling and that I couldn't do this anymore and that he needed to grow up and face the world head on. so today I have achieved peace within I still hurt but I know in my heart of hearts that I have done everything I can to help him but its all up to him now.

Again gals thanks so much for your thoughts and your pixie dust it really DOES WORK!!! You are all the best, I can't wait to meet each and everyone.

OK...How sad is it that I have already started to sort of pack already? Still over 2 months out yet. LOL Nothing in a suitcase yet but I am putting outfits in the ziplocs and labeling them for which day as I go along. OK...I have a problem, the 12 step program is not working.

As for packing. I only have one carry on bag with all the little extras like sunscreen, moleskin etc. I have to do that or I would bring way to much. This way I pack it and then go through and eliminate what I really don't need before we leave. The first year I found the dis I brought everything anyone suggested and I had one way heavy bag that I used about 1/10th of the contents of. I won't do that again since that trip we drove but we are flying again this year. I don't have enough clothes to pack those early. Oh yeah, I did get my husband and son matching tiki Mickey swim shorts from the disney store. I could get out a suitcase and start packing now. See you guys are a good influence on me. lol

You guys are too funny with your packing maddness. I don't have enough clothes to pack this early. Ok, I take that back. I DO have a ton fo clothes, but most of them do not fit anymore! Have you guys worked up your budget yet for while you are there? I was working on that last night and I got scared! Let's just say, I am going to be pre buying alcohol to take with me. I can't justify a $6.00 drink every night at the pool. I am kind of a cheap-o at times. Plus we are going to Colorado in July for like 2 weeks, so I have to save money for that as well. It never ends does it?

LOL...a bit obsessive compulsive here but have had my budget worked out for about 2 months now. SAD I KNOW. My budget includes ....
*Food for on the road....50$ (restaurant stops only, food in cooler and snack bag separate)
*2 nites at hotel on road.....$100 (we are not picky)
*Extra food not on DDP while at WDW....$50 (about the amount we spent last time and that was buying food for little one--free this time)
*gas money for trip....$300 (we also have $75 in gas cards earned for bank card--this is based on what we spent last time and gas was well over 3 bucks a gallon in same car)
*money put aside for AP's.....$1158(2 A and 1 C)
*souvs ....$80 so far(we will add more as tips are incrued plus we dont do much on souv buying)

My money for the trip is at the bank of MOM AND DAD. I would have spent it long ago if I didnt give it to them to hold LOL

An AP is an Annual Pass (to WDW) We are coming from PA. I did a gas thingy online where you put in the mileage your car gets, the rough price of gas, and your start and stop point and it figures it for you. Remind me and I will try and find it again for you. We went 2 years ago in the same vehicle and at $3.10 average a gallon, it cost us around that. Our driving time is about 17 hours (yours is prob the same or a bit more tho it took us about 24 with a 2.5 yr old. )

Thank you for the compliments. LIke I said, I love the froofy ones but I dont want to worry about her spilling stuff or getting it dirty so I designed them with comfort and cost effectiveness in mind. PLus I love sparkly stuff. She gets something on it....oh well, the whole patriotic one cost me all of 10$ and most of that was for the sequin trim. That crap cost more then the clothes brand new A little Spray and wash and she is good to go for next time. There are some great iron on stuffs out there to do big areas with, and Aleen's is usually the brand I use for glue products. They make tons of different ones.

Try and look for the sales racks at the stores or there is a store (cant remember name) in Downtown Disney that everything is supposed to be $10 or under.

Your budget looks good. Do you usually figure everything on the high end? I do. That way I KNOW I will have enough. Here is what I have so far. Can you think of anything else?
1.Souvenirs & misc. food $200.00 (already have that saved)
2.Food/drinks for the room $30.00 (grocery stop in FL)
3.Alcohol $200.00 (sounds like a lot but at $6 - $10 a drink, it adds up quick!)
4.Kids club $30.00
5.Sea World (food, souvenirs) $50.00 (free tickets)
6.Rental car $125.00(maybe)
7.MNSSHP tickets $80.00
8.Refillable mugs $30.00 (if we get 2)
9.Photo Pass CD $50.00 (splitting the cost with Lori)
10.Pay Mom for plane tickets $250.00 balance (before I had my new CC! lol)
11.Hotel in Tucson $75.00(because our flight is at 6am and Tucson is about 90 minutes from us )
12.Parking $FREE (if we stay at the hotel that allows free parking)
13.Pet Sitter $50 - $75

I know exactly what you mean! Last year we went HOG WILD! This year I am REALLY cutting back. My Mom is giving Ryan some money which will go on his own Disney gift card. He can spend it how he wants, but when it is gone, its gone! I'll get him a t-shirt and a few pins and that's it. I did souvies for everyone last year and they were not really appreciated in my opinion. So this year I am getting the photo pass cd and printing out pictures and putting them in an inexpensive frame. I think having a pretty good idea in your mind of your spending limit is a good idea. Money just seems to flow like water from my wallet there!
