Well on a bright note, it has finally stopped raining! It's gotten really windy though, should make for an interesting night at Fenway! :thumbsup2

yes this is true. we were going to get tickets to go to the Jake tonight and tomorrow and watch the game from there but we are fostering a greyhound for the weekend so we will be home with he/she so i will be watching the game on tv. Good luck tonight before the series is over we will come up with something.

Oh maybe you send some lobster to me and I can send some of our famous walleye (just found this out)to you hows that????

its a type of fish. We will probably miss the first part of the game going to get the greyhound but after we get home the game will be on.

I'll have to ask my Uncle who's from there if they are any good!

Have fun puppy sitting this weekend! I had to give Peanut a bath last night at 8:30, the dummy rolled in something way stinky..only on her right side though...what a pain in the butt that was! And of course we had just given her a bath on Sunday! It's normally a two person job, and it was just me, I had to push her into the bathroom, then shut the door behind her...drag her to the tub and basically push her in, and every opportunity she had she jumped out! America's Funniest Home Video's would have loved me last night! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Go Sox :rotfl2:

Why the onocologist though for a fibroid......did your ob/gyn give you the standard CA125 blood test?

because the growth was very rapi... it tripled it size in less than a year which my regular GYN cannot handle anymore so off to see the Oncologist...

I was completely terrified for the 2 weeks prior to my surgery, thinking I had cancer! The head of the onocology dept did my surgery, no cancer! was only 37

that is me right now... going out of my mind but cannot dwell on it so I just keep myself busy till surgery time comes.. target date is 1st week of Dec.
and yes I am 37 now :)

You'll be fine, the morphine clicker is awesome...it became my best friend the night of my surgery!

Glad to know... I am a pain pill popper so I know OTC Tylenol and Motrin will not work :(

I do have this lovely scar that runs from hip bone to hip bone now though!

I just hope when they put me under that it will work... I have seen some stories at CNN that after they were put to sleep they still felt the whole procedure :scared: :faint:

Gosh Timmy my thoughts and prayers are with you. please keep us updated as to when your surgery is.

Thanks  Nance... I will :scared:

Hopefully I can join you in January!!! if I can get on a plane by then

Hey Ants, If you are having surgery beginning of Dec...you should be pretty good by January. I was only out of work for 5 weeks total. The first couple weeks will be uncomfortable, to say the least, but you'll be given painkillers when you leave the hospital. I did think my dh was trying to kill me a couple days after I came home, he rented the movie Bruce Almighty....I had to leave the room, because it hurt to laugh:rotfl2:

You'll be fine Ants...I do know exactly how you are feeling right now though...the waiting is agonizing! There's no way of getting your surgery date moved into November? My doctor wasted no time, I think i had a total of maybe 2 weeks from the time they sent me to the onocologist to my surgery date. If they aren't pushing you into surgery, then they must not think it's anything more than a wacky fibroid! If they suspected cancer, you'd be scheduled for surgery asap.

I hope so... Thank you for sll the encouraging words am keeping this to heart...

Hope everybody is having a nice weekend... it is a wii bit cold here in PA:love:

I have very good excuses as to why I have not been around for a day or so.

Number one, grandson. No one can argue with that one.:)

Number two, older friend who has not been able to get a driver's license so I brought her here to where I raised all the gals who work in the license branch and got her all fixed up. Her husband is older than she and does not drive so it has been difficult for her. She is not quite old enough for Medicare and has no insurance so I have talked to the local Lion's Club and we are trying to work out a solution for her to get her needed cataract surgery.:3dglasses

I had a few minutes for myself one day and planned to meet a friend for a drink (soda) when I ran into a lady who was suicidal and so the rest of the day was spent there (to not much avail I fear). I am a magnet for such things and considering how little I get out of the house it is even more amazing. That is why I love DW so much. Most of the folks I meet are just having a good time and all is happiness. I need more of that in my life.

Tomorrow is my anniversary. 35 years. I want a medal. Hubby will return Tuesday. I do not have to cook. That is a good thing. I have been making some headway on chores that cannot be done when Tom is home though. Grandson went home a little bit ago so I have no more excuses not to work, darn it!!!

Timmie, what do you mean the BEST part of your vacation was meeting that other family? You done hurt the feelings of the rest of us who are certain that WE were the best part. I agree with all who say to move the date up and get it over with. You do not want to be dealing with medical issues during the holidays when the best are gone and there is few staff. The good news is that if you have a few extra pounds you do not have the hormone problems that those skinny gals do. Hey, there is a good side to everything. I loved not having a period anymore too.

Bonz, you do not know how tempting that offer is. If I did not have obligations and was not so darned responsible I would head out the door this very minute. :woohoo:

Linda!!! You guys were the only reason why I was at WDW from 9-11 to 9-15 well plus the free dining :) Pinkerbells family came the second trip for Sept... 9-29 to 10-05 when it was raining all the time

And hey you can have my ressie for 12-11 to 12-16 ... got the room at POP for $59 a nite... I have not canceled yet... it is to d@rn hard to do... cancel the ressie ...you know....

Nice recovery there Timmy!

I am paying $49 a nite at the Sports from the 9th-19th and there is a code out there for $59 if I do decide to add a couple of days to the beginning of the trip but I thank you most kindly for your offer.

I just got a call from a local DIS friend as she wanted to share her good news. They just bought into the DVC!!! I am happy for them. :yay:

After the day I have had (bad news about AKLSunshine) I could use a bit of good news.

SG/Linda

Hiya Bonz... (and sorry Peeps if I am starting to sound redundant...) For some reason me being overweight was not all fat... I have a fibroid as big as a cantaloupe and now doctors feel that I should have it taken out since it is already affecting my/the quality of life... I am a Wii bit scared since I never had any major surgery and Wic/Kathy was just sharing her previous experience and her encounter with Mr. M.Drip (morphine drip)... And that is why  I had to cancel my Dec. 07 trip dates on 12-11 to 12-16... hopefully next year... I will try to start a thread about my present status so the regular programming here will not be compromise... Again Peeps... I apologize...

 Thanks Bonz ...

Timmy I have at 19 major surgeries and its not so bad you will blow by this one just fine I have faith in you. as far as the morphine drip god thank the man who came up with that one. when I was 22 I had my 2nd child (who past 1/2 hour after she was born) and then I started to have major problems and within in a month I had to have an emergency hysto. and then they found that i had ovarion cancer so it was a blessing in disguise. Not say that is going to happen to you by any means.

Inidans 13 Sox 6 Sorry Wic it looks likes its going to be a great series between us.:woohoo:

Aw, Timmy- that sound huge and I'd be scared too! I'll keep you in my thoughts and heart- I'm sure you'll be okay, but I know I'd be terrified. The only surgeries I've had were D&Cs after miscarriages and those were scary enough!

I'm pretty nervous today. In about 5 minutes, I'm loading up my Bernese Mountain Dog and taking her to her first dog show. It's an official unofficial one- LOL. No points will be awarded towards Championship or anything, but we'll get practice and probably make ***** out of ourselves in front of everyone. YAY.

*chews on nails*
