karrierock, I applaud your sewing talents as well as your energy. I would rather use a power tool than a sewing machine. I do not even mend, unless forced.

wic0721, I take back what I said about your dh being at fault. Any man who knows the meaning of the word 'guilt' let alone how to feel it is a keeper.

I have wet dusted two rooms, cleaned the car interior, got my vacation purse (with its lime green decor) all packed as well as called and got another ADR I have been working on and just about have my FINAL final agenda done. Still a couple of tweaks as to ADR's but I can call on site and often have better luck there anyway. Oh, yes, laundry too. Not much but a few steps closer~!!

He lives in Portage. Still a long drive for me seeing as I almost live in Wisconsin. I have alot of family in Indiana. What part are you from???

crzykid, I am originally from Ohio but have lived in this small hamlet, south of Indianapolis for 30 years, more than half my life. Portage is way up North of here so I guess I am safe from you coming to beat some sense into me.

How do you ALMOST live in Wisconsin? Are you like those kids on the Internet who move into someone's abode unseen and undetected or something? As interesting as it sounds it also sounds like a recipe for disaster, however well intended. Sort of like couch surfing. THAT I might have done when I was younger though.

Yeah my husband is usually a keeper....except for the week of Sept 14 - 22, I'm going to be giving him away that week! I jokingly told him that he better not expect me to cook that week either...because I was going to be getting free food that week..and I'm still expecting that to happen! He did offer to take us to the local Six Flags that weekend, hmmm let's see....Six Flags - Disney, Six Flags - Disney.....are you freakin kidding me????

Slightly Goofy, I want to know the secret knock at IASW too and since my son actually likes that ride I think he would enjoy his days there entertaining others. lol BTW, Your post reminded me of the book Kingdom Keepers when the dolls come to life.

Kids just have such a hard time getting into the routine again once school starts back up. I do have to give my son credit though since so far 7th grade is going so much smoother than 6th grade. Maybe I could just drop him off at IASW on the mornings he gives me a hard time about getting out of bed when we are there.

Hi there! The address looks right. I think you need to make sure you put your name, reservation # and check in date on it as well. This is what I remember from last year when everyone shipped stuff down. Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong.

WDW1st-timers, I am finding myself regretting that I am not staying at POP but Sports and I love Sports and the folks who work there! I plan on coming over your way for some of the meets though. It is all according to how my hubby is doing on any given day. If he is asleep I might wander over alone but since I seldom leave him when we are at home there is scant chance that I would leave him alone at DW. If he woke up he would literally have no idea of what to do!

angwill, you talking to me? YOU talking to ME??? I am from Southern Indiana. A hint for your sleepyhead 7th grader. Take your digital camera out to the pool area and take some pics of the good looking gals in that area and show them to him when he finally wakes up and you just might see that he is a whole lot easier to wake up from then on. Teens need more sleep though. I think they get worn out just trying to think of ways to scare their parents to death!

wic0721, I just am not sure that it is a good idea to give too much trouble to someone who uses guns and has training to boot! Yep, Disney does spoil us for any other park.

Two bathroom scrubbed from top to bottom. One left alone for future use just in case we need to use one in the next 7 days.

Okay gang of wild Monkeys I just got back from mailing out all of those gift bags and some extras. They asked if I was sending alcohol and I said who me no wayyyyyy!! so they opened my package anyway and I had to show ID so they knew how old I was maybe it was just the person pulling someone on me ( I know them personally)LOL!! But I did not have an ounce of alcohol in this box but will be with the next one. HAHAAHA!!!!

Last night my friend and I went to see Josh Groban - I love that man. I have pictures post in my blog ( look in my siggie) if anyone would like to see them. I have been to many of his concerts but I think was by far the best so far !

I can't believe I am now 2 weeks out from this trip. Maybe this weekend I will start actually oranizing things to take !

The days are dwindling down to a precious few!! There is no way that I am going to compete with all of you window decorating fiends. I have loads of decorations in my basement. In fact I have an entire room dedicated to holiday decorations but I have not been able to get down there for several years so I use a poinsettia sent by a dear friend each year and content myself with memories of days gone by when I used to win prizes for my decor. Memories, precious watercolored memories!!

clkelley, even a night spent asleep at DW counts!! Something in the air ya know? For one thing it gives you an early start on the second day and that is worth it alone. See ya there??

Good Morning everyone.

I am FINALLY in the single digits

I have nothing ready. I am going to Indiana this weekend to drop the dog off at my brothers. So there goes my weekend. I will probably just stay up all night on the 7th packing.

I am going to be decorating my window and door this time and have never does this before so if you see a window with birthday decorations that will be mine.

I won't be at POP for my bday but it is shortly after we leave, as a matter of fact, I'll be celebrating my bday in a Couples Villa on Disney Cruise Line! We get off the ship the next day!
