Hi Scott H!

Always nice to meet other DVC BWV people! We bought into DVC after our first cruise in '04. Steve, my DH, came and said, "We have an appointment with Brandon on Thursday. We're buying into the vacation club!" He wanted to cruise more often and this way we can.

A lot of people prefer to rent their points and sail on cash and I say to each his own. I, however, love the convenience of calling up and booking on points. How long have you been a BWV owner?

Denise, we agree about point rental. Those are ours not for rental. Vacations are just too important to us. MS is great to call ad make your DVC reservations. We have been DVC members since 1991. OKW is our favorite. BWV and BCV are great for Epcot trips. We are very fortunate to be DVC members, and we use it to the max.


I have just not had time to do my research for this trip. Just dug out some guide books to start reading. I do have all the proper maps loaded into the GPS.

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to let you know that I called and booked our pre-cruise night room at Ron Jon's this morning. I just called for shuttle info but since they only had 11 studios available, I decided to go ahead and book.

Here's what I found out:

They do allow free cruise parking with the purchase of one night's lodging.

They don't hve a complimentary shuttle but can help book one from several outside vendors who charge $4 per person.

Or, you can take a taxi that would be at your beck and call for $8. Both the shuttle and taxi prices are one way each.

She suggested the taxi because the shuttles tend to run on their schedule such as waiting to get full before heading for the port.

Also, they do have discount room codes for AAA members.

Just thought someone out there might find this info helpful.

I need to mention that they do charge on your card for 1 night.

Did anyone make a copy of the cruise list before it disappeared? I need to know if there are any girls in the 11 - 13 range on our cruise. My DD will only commit to the cruise if she has a friend. Now I remember why my kids didn't come last time.

Good Morning all,

Boy my typing is poor when I am tired. It was a long week. The next two or three look the same. The good thing is I can accrue some comp time to use for vacations. This is good.

1 above this AM. Thus I am dreaming of warm places. Had a schedule change for our flights for this trip so made the proper adjustments.

Good to see some new folks joining in on this cruise.
