Pulling for the Ducks in the Fiesta Bowl, but it doesn't look good. I was in South Bend the last two days and the talk there is the irish will be in the Fiesta Bowl with Virginia Tech (or Penn State). I agree with you that the teams that with 1 loss should get picked for bowl games before the 2 loss teams and so on. You'd think that the fiesta/network people would have a west coast team as one of the participants. Since SC will beat UCLA (what happened to those guys?)that would put them in the rose bowl. That, by all good reasoning would put a one loss Oregon team against another one loss team such as Penn State or Virginia Tech. But then, ND has a lot of pull. Good Luck Ducks!

Lets not forget about Ohio State! The Fiesta Bowl reps where in Columbus last week actually. I would say that Ohio State will be at the Fiesta Bowl for the 4th time in 5 years. Just my thoughts.

Ahhh, we haven't forgotten Ohio State. Would think that VA Tech would be a reach. Orange Bowl most likely to take them.

Won't matter after today when Stanford upsets the Golden Domers!!

Our store hosts a Fiesta Bowl luncheon/fashion show for all the coaches/players wives/daughters/girlfriends every year. With that, I always get a couple of the stores Fiesta Bowl tickets. Have seen some great games over the last 7 years. Miami vs Ohio State was classic - awesome game. However, though Ohio State travels well, I can't see the Fiesta Bowl selecting them AGAIN. Oregon showed we travel well back in 2002, if not better than Ohio State, so that shouldn't be an issue. ND however, was way outnumbered by Oregon State a few years back. Almost 4-1. ND just didn't show up. I don't know, it all is up in the air until December 4th. Can't do anything except cross our fingers. We would love to see a rematch of the 1995 Rose Bowl - Oregon vs Penn State. That would be a great game. Plus I get great free tickets!! Sorry to bore others with this, but it helps time pass as we await our upcoming cruise.

Atlanta is good. Had a very good time with family. We leave earlt tomorrow for the airport to fly to MCO. Busiest travel day so am gearing up for it mentally. Silly thing is we have a 1 hour 20 min flight. Need to be at the airport extra early to drop off rental car and run the security gauntlet, so by the time we arrive early etc etc etc.... we almost could have driven to WDW. LOL

Hope you all had a great T-Day. Lynn and I got the family hooked on Geo Caching. It was really rather funny.

Looking forward to being at WDW during this the Christmas season.

Hi Heidi! Our Wisconsin Badgers are playing football today in Hawaii. Would have loved to go to see the game. The one thing you missed is sending me information about yourself, so I can put it in the Getting to Know your Fellow Cruisers section of the newsletter.

I have only been to the stadium for the swap meets, I'm more of a shopper than a sports fan . Wish you could have had the game close to you as I am "wasting" that option.

How big is the guest Room ??

Just big enough for a double bed and dresser, it does have a ceiling fan though . Rooms are on the small side as the house was built 50+ years ago.

Mom and I are just like you....we "tried" to sleep before we left for our cruise back in May but we were too excited to sleep...just like the commercial Tracy referred to!!!!

My brother and his wife are heading to Hawaii next year to see the Boilers play. 2 week trip. Too much paradise for me. We're still thinking. Maybe a lot shorter trip. I would do two weeks in Key West and of course on the Magic.

That would be the thing to work against OSU. Very good team, but 4 times in 5 years would cause the bowl organizers to think long and hard.
