Kay....the other day on CNN they were saying it could be a couple of weeks yet before all power is restored I don't blame you for staying put at the "Happiest Place on Earth"!!!!

just spoke with family in ft. lauderdale - status quo - no new updates. all power is still out - no gas stations has opened since two days ago - I think the water has returned, as the fixed the main water valve. too much damage for me to go home and start it - w/o power can't anyways. I hate to even think about all the things that need to be done and arranged and finally get accomplished. just can't imagine until you go through it..

the parks are packed with So.FL. people - amazing - like a reunion of Floridians only. !!!!!!

Food and Wine Festivale is great. Food is awesome. The group I was with today had beer from each and every vendor. by the time we made the full round at the Lagoon - we were having a great time........... we did taste most of the food at all vendors but not every one.

Fun day - we covered so area that my scooter came off the full charge.

I can't imagine what you are going through. I'm sending that everything works out for you and Harry (and the rest of your family).

When I was at WDW with Renae & Leslie earlier this month...it was the invasion of the Canadians because it was our Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend!!!!

When Leslie & I did the WS for the Food & Wine Festival...we stopped to look at each country's offerings but didn't get to sample anything because we had reservations for a late lunch at The Whispering Canyon in The Wilderness Lodge and we wanted to save our appetites for that.

I must say....The Whispering Canyon was fun...but I was told I had to come back for either breakfast or dinner and ask for the ketchup...because they just don't do the "fun" stuff at lunch time...I only got the "normal" amount of ketchup!!!! I did however get the largest soda I have ever seen!!!! No refills for me!!!!!! I can't wait to take Mom there...maybe before our cruise in September or when we come back to WDW for our Table 9 reunion in November '06.

We Hoosiers will for one last time refrain from the "spring forward/fall back" dance. Unfortunately, we will be dancing next spring for the first time in many moons.

Typical fall evening here. Just got back from the fairgrounds with our grandson Payton. Went to see the Haunted Feargrounds. Kind of a haunted house thing, but at the fairgounds. Fundraiser for the high school. Lots of fun.
