Then there is the Oct WDW/DEMA trip. As the DEMA show is in Orlando next year we can combine thouse trips.

By spacing these trips troughout the year it will make the last year of work go easier and keep me from going :crazy2: and having a :headache: .

Kendra, I just noticed the DL Halloween Mug and it is dated 1995. Seems like yesterday, well kinda.

Monday is the day to call fro teh cruise on DVC points. Ready set Dial.

SCUBA classes might be rough for us this weekend as the pool we use is having some chemical problems and has been closed for the week, will see when they open. Can do class room stuff and get ahead there.

Don't forget to get your flu shots.

Thank-you Hygiene 99...you posted how to get my signature line changed about 25 pages ago...this weekend I will have the time !!!

Am I the only one feeling that this cruise is a long ways away ? We are going to DL next month, have our reservations at Blue Bayou, the Tut exhibit, and will be spending a couple days in San Diego because DS wants to visit Sea World...a wonderful vacation, but somehow it seems an also ran in comparison w/ DCL...I am so ungrateful. We'll be staying at DLH for 4 nights, it should be great, but I'm so weird about cleanliness that I always hate staying someplace new to me. Anyone have any don't miss hints ?

Good morning all and good luck with the scuba classes Scott. Tracey my floors could use a little TLC. :teeth:

Mike, I got no TLC left in me :rotfl2: But my floors look great! I don't know if that was such a good idea yesterday. We bowl tonight and I'm feeling it from crawling around on the floor for so long :rotfl:

It's going to be a beautiful weekend here in the Midwest. Gonna just enjoy the nice weather while we still have it.

Tracy, didn’t you strap on lambs wool mitts to your feet and skate around on the floor to polish?

I could have used that advise yesterday Scott.

:pug: :dog: :dog2:

Thanks for the info Scott... I'll definitely have to look into it.

Kids are gone for an hour or two today. Have to catch up on the boards! What a great way to spend my time! :cheer2:

:sunny: Good Morning :sunny:
Hope that all is well with everyone.

We made it back home last night from our trip to the east coast. Wonderful time even with the liquid sunshine.
Boston was nice except for Peter's perputual construction project. Got to see a lot. Also Salem.
Didn't see much of Connneticut other than the Rising Sun Casino. It was fun.
We stopped by Niagara Falls. Awesome. There was also the wine country in western New York. Got some souveniers there. :drinking:
Finished off the trip with a meal at Amish Acres(here in Indiana). We had not been there for about 20+ years. Still very good.

Back to work tomorrow. Points day for the cruise. :cool1:
Everyone have a good rest of the weekend.

How do I get the green 11 night Caribbean Cruise sign in my signature? THX!

This will help Sig Sign here

Today we are going to a Cocker Spaniel Rescue Charity auction..
To help the org raise some funds ..

Rain has stopped and the sun is out on most of the East coast.. :teeth:

Bob, Glad you had a safe and fun trip. I will also be ready set and dialing at 0700 here tomorrow morning.

Peter is the master of signature help. I should take notes so I don’t have to redo the learning curve and crash every time I want to make a change to mine.

SCUBA classes today from 12:00 to about 10:00 when we finish taking care of the gear etc.

Hope you guys on the East Coast dry out a little.

Good morning all. Hope that the east coast gets some sunshine to help them dry out. So with four days at sea, how many formal nights will we have? Mike

Hey Mike,

My best guess would be two formal nights. I finally had some time just to look at the itinerary. It is interesting with two sea days then bunches of ports the two more sea days, then CC. Not sure if we will be diving at every port o call, as some of these ports are new to us.

I have an old student who went on to be an instructor and a boat captain. He just moved back to St Thomas. A big maybe would be that we could arrange a private SCUBA excursion. This would depend on where he was working etc. No guarantees on this one. I’ll check this out, as we get closer. Dive Instructors are a very transient bunch, so one never knows. Reminds me of the days I used to rule my life from a payphone

Hey Bob, what is your DVC # I will help ya get your reservation, yeah that’s it I will help. :earboy2: Not sure what Cat to get?? Really thinking about not getting a veranda. We will see what is available. Carmen might not be available. :goodvibes :rotfl: :rotfl: Maybe the Life Boat Suites are available?

Anyone else going to WDW the first part of December??

Good morning everyone! Does anyone remember how old a baby has to be to go on the ship??? Me and Dh think we may have brought back a "little souviner" from WDW in September :earseek: SInce we are still not 100% sure ( have to see our doc) I have start thinking if we will still go or not and doind my research (just incase we are expecting). The way I am calculating that would mean bringing a 3 month old. Will he / she /i t lol be too young????

Melissa, Congrats. Either way wish the best.

Don't know the answer to your question, but we have seen some pretty young ones on the ship.

Babies can not be under 12 weeks old. A full 3 months old would be old enough. An easy stage for a baby ( with the term easy being relative, lol) as the babe isn't eating solids at that point. Breastfeeding would be fully established at that point, so breastfeeding would be a breeze. If bottlefeeding, many have mentioned using the ready-to-feed bottles for the trip instead of powder. Both for ease and safety (wouldn't have to worry about the water that way). DCL will provide you with a diaper-genie for your room. A front baby carrier (like a sling) would be much easier for getting around than a stroller. Best wishes whichever news you get :goodvibes

thanks Mike, :umbrella:

We also think 2 formal nights, based on other longer trip we have done.. Last longer cruise in May we skipped the second formal night and went to Topsiders for a quick quiet Meal just did not feel like the big dining thing at that point if the cruise.. :teeth:

"little souviner" Best wishes You 2 !!! :wizard:

Bob,

Too bad you visited Niagara Falls when I was in Florida, Mom and I would have loved to have met up with you and Lee and gone out to dinner as we only live 30 minutes from "the Falls"!!!!!

Did you visit Niagara-on-the-Lake Ontario while you were here???? It is so beautiful and there are quite a few wineries there. In fact the Ice Wine I brought on the May Repo cruise was from a winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Just off the phone with DVC, got a Cat 7 for this cruise. Will get the updated info to Tony for the Cruise List. I really like the Cat 7's, but they can be hard to get on points. Was told there were 5 available. :cool1:

We are in Stateroom 5134 with late seating. Lynn will be surprised with the Cat 7.

Bob, I hope you got what you wanted.

Also got a room at OKW for before the cruise, so the Wine and Cheese meet will be at OKW on 9/16. Room to be announced here on the board after we check in. :goodvibes
