Good morning -

Kay, thanks for all your hard efforts on the design - you're a better person than I, I don't think I'd have the time or talent to put something together.

Scott, I thought you were camping today but you're on line. GO - have a good time and give Lynn a hug for me.

I don't post much but I read everything and I'm really looking forward to renewing so many friendships on this cruise.

Elaine and Georgie - you gotta come - it won't be the same without you.

Shari,

We are about out the door, in the 30's this morning so waiting for it to warm up a bit. Come on sunshine. Lynn says hi. now we are really outta here as the Malamutes are howling to get us going. Funny they know what is up and get pretty excited.

Welcome annrae! Glad you will be joining us. DH and I are excited about this trip too - it will be our 8th Disney cruise and we are looking forward to the new ports. I really think that St. Thomas is beautiful and we did Antigua last fall with DCL but look forward to experinecing the new destinations as well.

Planning is the next best thing to being there! Enjoy!

Gail we also did Antigua last October. Piglett 33 arranged an excursion to pineapple beach there that was a real eye opener :rotfl2: Mike

WOW what a great thread this is. I only read through half so far. We just booked this cruise yesterday. We have 2 connecting cat 10 rooms. It will be myself (Dena - 38) DH (Michael -38) DS (Brendan - 16) DD (Ashley - 15) DD (Emily -2 1/2) and MIL (Barbara). I am so excited. We have not cruised on Disney since last October. This will be our 8th DC. We did sail on a 9day cruise with norwegian this past April and visited most of the Islands that we are going to with DCL.

Hopefully I will be able to keep up with all the posting!

Papa - we were on the September cruise that went to Antigua and did Eli's Eco Tour (to say awesome could be an understatement). DH has already asked about doing it again. I kind of feel like we didn't see much of the island but we sure did see areound the island, had a great lunch but by the time we got back to port it was raining so I got back on the ship, does that make me some sort of "fare weather tourist"? DH walked around some, got a few t-shirts and boarded again too. Planning is SOO mucn fun, don't know what we will do but I will have to see what I can find out about Pineablle Beach.

mdvasquez - Welcome Dena and family. I had the same problem earlier this week trying to get caught up but I managed, so will you. You will have to share what you did in the ports when you went.

Can someone tell me about the Eco Tour? Is there a website I can look up information on it?

Thanks!

Hey Mike! Do share about this Pineapple beach thing that you guys keep talking about. I'm always open for fun things to do, unless of course I am going deep sea fishing :rotfl:

Jill and Tim booked this for all of us. I went on it and had a blast! It was Eli's Ecotour and is at http://www.adventureantigua.com/

Would love to do this again, but may consider other things too on Antigua. Loved this stop!!

Just sent them an Email Asking for the Entire boat ...the boat holds less than 20
Peter.

Eli's does a charter, has the Eco Tour which must have been half a day (we did have lunch) and then they have a new one on a speed boat which I would never get DH to do. I have already reserved the Eco Tour, I may cancel but wanted to be sure we could do that if that is what we decide.

So they will come back and tell me that the whole boat is not available for the day ..

I can help with this. I arranged for a group of about 30 of us to go to the a resort in Antigua. At the time they offered a half day pass that included lunch in one of the restaurants, snacks and all the non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks you wantedj plus use of the beach and pool.

This means that there was topless sunbathing so the men got an eyeful!:earseek: Although I'm not sure which they enjoyed more, that or the turtles that were having some fun of their own. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Anyway, we all had a great time there. It was very relaxing too so I'm going to look into arranging another group to go there again.

Reneé

Thanks Renee! Too funny about the topless sunbathers! LOL Great links, and of course I found a deep sea fishing option! :rolleyes1
