Morning! We are currently in Milwaukee at the Volvo dealership baffling the mechanics with a truck that blew a transmission at 10,000 miles. Who knows how long we will be here. Hopefully not too long. We will be trying out Milwaukee's food soon. We are going to take our morning walk AND find somewhere to eat around here, kind of killing 2 birds with 1 stone.
Tracy, I am just off HWY 100 here, if you know where that is.

Anyway, they have the truck in the shop and we are sitting in their comfy ( ) waiting area watching the news. I'll be lurking..........

PIT- if you head down the interstate towards Chicago. You should get off at HWY 50 in Kenosha and go to Woodman's grocery store. It is one of my favorite grocery stores and they currently have the diet Pepsi Jazz 12 packs for $2.50. They have the best soda selection anywhere.....they even have all of the Stewart's flavors for Elaine in regular & diet.


I don't know where hwy 100 is though I'm not that familiar with Milwaukee. I'm guessing you're about 1.5 hours away from my house. I'll be in Gurnee this afternoon, just over the WI-IL state lines.

I think I know where you are. Depends which area of Highway 100. I know the ends by I94 better, by Brookfield Mall and on Ryan Road in Oak Creek. My guess is you are by Oak Creek.

I agree with Celeste - -Woodman's has everything. Don't really like to shop there, but I go when I want something I can't find anywhere, they usually have it.

1 month from today we'll all be getting ready to embark on the Wonder and the 11 night cruise!!!!

Cyndi, I hope they get your truck fixed quickly so you can get back on the road soon.

I've never been to a Bama game, but I'd love to go sometime. Both Jason and I are huge Bama fans. I can't wait till the season starts. I could probably get some pretty good tickets if I wanted to go. I have one cousin who graduated from there last spring, one cousin who is a junior there and one of my dad's former co-workers is President of Huntsville's Alumni Association.

Have to scoop the leaves out of the above ground pool. Thinking about closing it down in the next week. It is kind of nice to hear the tree frogs doing their croaking around it at night. Too many mosquitoes to enjoy it though. Mike

I think you need to PM your reservation no to someone but not sure who.

DISers, how do you go about getting the time? All our reservation says is late dining, it doesn't specify a time so we can get the rotation.

Gotta get some sleep though .. .night all, from the west coast!

Well - I still have YET to catch up on things here! With another 9 days to go of travel I am almost expecting to see 14,000 postings by then!!! And then I'd need everyday til Sept 17th to try amd catch up.... (sigh).... But I'll try!

We actually deliver on Ryan Road every Wednesday (except last night )
I'll try to get to woodmans. We usually stop at the Cheese Castle on I-94 they have tomato and basil cheese that is GREAT! And their summer sausage is good too!

OK...

.... I gotta go now.... Tons to do here too.... I just saw another grass skirt set in the international marketplace... they wanted $14.99 (non-negotiable... imagine that!) when the same thing was $7.99 2 blocks away. Well... I'm still shopping it!

OK... gonna drive around the island this morning. We did NOT return the car yesterday... and then we have a seafood buffett with the whole immediate family for lunch. Then I think we're just hanging around locally in Waikiki. We have a nice hotel across the street from the beach and have spent NO time in waikiki browsing! A modest waste of location if you ask me... sort of.

Oh well... adios folks til tonight IF I get back with enough energy to browse here then!
