Speaking of laundry....

I got so wrapped up in talking on the phone earlier today that I forgot to push the "on" button on the dryer. Looks like I'll be up until at least 9:30

Congratulations to everyone I've missed today for everything I've missed today. i still can't figure out how you all are tracking all this stuff. We all know I'm a little slow, but I learned how to post a picture I'm sure I can figure it out eventually.

Okay, I am so far behind... I know...sorry these will be off topic!

Get yourself a RELIEF BAND (or several) if you have any serious vulnerability to sea sickness. The discomfort and subsequent loss of a vacation day or portion thereof is not worth the small expense of a relief band. THese devices use an electrical charge similar to a STIM device to interrupt the accupressure point under your wrist. It is very effective for moderate motion with my otherwise vulnerable spouse. We actually have 3 bands and always carry spare batteries.

Thankfully I actually don't get typical sea sickness. I get aches and pains all over after sleeping when on a ship, not nausea,etc. But, it was considered sea sickness. It is rare though. I just carry Dramamine with me in case I get the aches and pains at night.

Bob and I were just wondering the exact same thing about sharing bottles of alcohol. We have no experience at all with the corkage fee thing. We have taken glasses in, purchased in the atrium on our way, but never tried a bottle.

Well, we just usually have our wine as an appertif in the cabin or on deck before going to dinner. We did take a bottle of wine to dinner with us and they did charge us an uncork fee even though we had our own cork screw. It was on a different cruise line. But, it does say that DCL will charge an cork fee, so...Or sometimes even after dinner we would open it on deck and just get two glasses to take to the show.

Where do you get the monkey? And how to you get him to stick around while you have your drink?

I think he meant - serve with a Palm tree and you'll be seeing Monkeys (at least with those ingredients that is what I thought.

My brother and sister-in-law just stopped in...they were in the States today and bought me a case of Diet Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream....he thought that was the pop/soda I was talking about when we went out for my Mom's birthday dinner....wrong pop....but WOW...it's great....have you tried it?????

I will be trying it tomorrow. I love the Diet Dr. Pepper Black Cherry Vanilla so I am sure I will enjoy this one too. But, the Diet Pepsi Jazz is better. It is creamier, like putting Diet Pepsi and strawberry cream soda together.
