OK, I refuse to stay up all night tonight just to watch the forum! (Again!) There's gotta be somebody else lurking! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Evening all! So I missed the festivities of 10,000. Congrats Cheryl! :thumbsup2

Well, we went to Hooters. Kevin loved the wings, the atmosphere, the Raiders game, and of course- the butt cheeks hanging out of the shorts. They didn't wear the orange shorts tonight, camoflage instead for military night which got us an extra 20% off with Kev's military ID. Our waitress, Heather, was super nice and helped Kevin pick out what he had for dinner. She was working her way through college (aren't they all) and was dumb as a rock. She was a lot of fun and joked around with us but we kept having to explain over and over again that we couldn't have anything with breading on it due to our diet and she just didn't get the concept that and kept suggesting fried this and that. We finally got through to her and settled on wings and salad. I sat around and watched the very few other wives shimmy around in their seats nervously. Not me! I had a blast watching football (which I know very little about) and chowin' down on wings with my guy!
A great time was had by all and Kev wants to go back next week! :thumbsup2

pirate: I found my pirate costume!!!! pirate:
And all I can say is I'm gonna be one decked out, glamorous wench!!!
It all came together quite smoothly although the corset has about a million little hooks to hook up  I'm excited though pirate:

On a more serious note, we saw World Trade Center tonight. Honestly it was very hard to watch. I shed a lot of tears as did others in the theater. I still recommend everyone to see it. I think sometimes we are too far away from that day in our minds, it's easy to forget. It is truly a story of courage and survival in the face of evil. :grouphug:

Well I guess everyone is in bed so I will check in in a few minutes but I'm pretty sure I am the Lone Ranger here this late. :)

Here are some truck pics (and one of me if you look real close with Uncle Bubba Earl Keg). The other one is a belly dancer pic from ds16's b'day at Casbah in Savannah. That's his attempt to belly dance :rotfl2:

Sorry these are so stinkin' big but photobucket isn't giving me an option to resize :confused3 So here's a lifesize view of our lives I guess!

cool orange mug!! stylin

and nice shny red rig, kinda like santa's sleigh :goodvibes

hey, is ds going on the cruise? still looking to see if anyone from the group has kids our son's age

btw...if you MS Office 2003, there is a Picture Manager that will let you resize your pictures and re-save them before you upload if you are still having problems with photobucket

Okay, I have only been gone for less than three hours and I ended up missing all the drama on the 10,000 post!! OMGoodness! And now I have another 10 pages to catch up on!!

Okay, I am going to guess who got the 10,000 post - without even looking ahead (right now I am on pg. 661). Well, obvious guess would be Captain Crash, but I think maybe Tigger&Bubba came back to get the big post, or maybe LetsGoSteelers came in for the steal! I will wait and find out in a minute!

Nope wasn;t me, I was out all day today and missed out on the festivities, webray was our winner!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip. Ds is not gonna make this one. I wish he could go since he appreciates it so much and has so much fun but he just can't miss that much school! He's still looking for a way to sneak in in our luggage though! :lmao:

Truck isn't as nice and shiny as it usually is. Last week it was clean. This is after a week of driving.

I have to say my bubba keg sure came in handy in the shower today. It seems California doesn't believe in turning on the A/C in the summertime and that goes for truck stop showers as well. I filled my Uncle Bubba Earl up with ice water and stayed quite cool in CA  I'm guessing that's what I'll use it for on the cruise the most since I drink water constantly. I'm trying to decide whether to go to sleep or not, I just ordered Kevin's pirate costume and I am excited, but also tired. I don't know which one will win out yet excited or tired.

I did get some great deals on clothes for this cruise today    Sacramento Arden Fair Mall never lets me down. I got my formal for the 2nd formal night, well maybe it'll be for the first formal night just incase I gain weight on the cruise which is inevitable :rotfl: Oops, gotta go- dh needs some attention :teeth:

I guess that is one reason I don't have it! :lmao: Sorry, I should have typed that I just do not have enough of his CDs so I can listen to all the songs that I like that Buffett sings.

Linda, all you have to do is go into the radio yahoo window and in the search type in Jimmy Buffet and it will bring up him first. Click on albums and start rating away. So I could listen to it a lot, I rated everything at 5 or 100 (depends how you are rating).

You would appreciate this.... In my kitchen some of my decor has the saying "I love to cook with wine...sometimes I even put it in the food." I have a spoon rest, tray, utensil holder, etc. with the saying on it!

I have the coaster :lmao: :lmao:

Next time you are at Hooters try ordering the wings naked..that will get you wings with no breading.

Your pirate outfit sounds like my pirate outfit..lol. pirate:

You got it Cheryl :thumbsup2 We'll show them all in September :cheer2: :dance3:

I don't know if I can keep up to yesterday's pace every day between now and the cruise(s). 360 posts in a 24 hour period.

:teacher: :teacher: Math Alert :teacher: :teacher:

With 360 posts in 24 hours, that's one post every 4 minutes ! We only need 480 in 24 hours to make it one post every 3 minutes. Can we do it :confused3 :rotfl: :lmao:

My first JB song has come on today -- We Are The People Our Parents Warned Us About pirate: Thought of all of you :lovestruc

Cheryl, are you an early riser? I'll probably see you on deck early if you are  I'm generally up with the :sunny: It'll be interesting on the 7 night cruise as we have an inside room. First time ever. Maybe we'll get an upgrade to the Walt? :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hi Tracy...

Yep, I am an early riser. Even on the weekends. Although this morning came much earlier than usual...2am...our English Bulldog started having some type of attacks or seizures..not sure. He is going into the vet as soon as they open this morning.

Our alarm here usually goes off around 5am or so. Bob likes to get into the office get things done and we love breakfast!
