Pit,

Nice to know you are alive and well and it's nothing more than your lap-top that is acting up. There were a lot lot of people that were starting to worry about you two.

Check in when you can even if its from a library.

Doug & Carol

I'm here! Thanks for noticing my post! I'm beginning to think I'm at the top of everyone's ignore list! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:What did I do?
Laptop works as long as I point the A/C at the back of it. Otherwise it overheats and shuts down :rolleyes1 Taking it into CompUSA this week. Contemplating a new one, we shall see.........

Scott, take the money and run, my friend- The new frontier awaits!

Back on my diet :sad2: I only gained 7lbs on the cruise though! Already lost that and then some :teeth:

PIT,

You are not being ignored. You would be surprised how many people missed you when you weren't posting. Glad to have you back. :thumbsup2

Congrats on losing the weight. :cheer2: :cheer2: The scales said I didn't gain more than about a pound or two but my jeans are telling me something else. Guess I will have to start walking.

Why yes I am. So, what will you be doing in three weeks??? :woohoo:

Well what do you know! We'll be doing the same thing! Can't wait to see you and Bob in Orlando! No snow here today, it actually is a beautiful day, though a bit cold (44 right now). Nice day for watching football and making photo DVDs.

Make sure you get everything backed up and FAST! I had the same problem with mine last year on May 12, 2005 as we were leaving on the Panama Canal Cruise. Luckily got everything off the hard drive, but for the trouble of getting it fixed and the cost, I just bought a new laptop instead.

We have everything backed up and all of the pics on this computer are also on the one at home. I'm going laptop shopping Monday. This fan has gone out twice already and while it is still under warranty, it is a royal pain :badpc:

Was she implying that DCL isn't normal? :teeth: Note to self: Wear it over to her house the next time she has us over for dinner :lmao: Will do on the getting stuck thing! :thumbsup2

AWWWW, really? I was MISSED? (sniffsniff) How sweet! Thanks on the losing the weight thing. I am REALLY trying. I plan to wear the same dress I wore for my high school graduation on the first night of our Sept 8 Western next year. THAT will take LOTS of discipline! But I'm gonna do it! Gotta keep walking and TurboJamming! And LowCarbing! :woohoo:

Well the house offer was, let’s say, a joke. Sent it back without a response. Oh well two other folks looked at it yesterday.

Went to load the camper and the roof had leaked , spent the day cleaning and patching, fun.

Hope to on the road in a few minutes. Have to look at a house tonight.

Later kids, enjoy, remember Breath in Breath out, Move on…….

Scott, sorry to hear that about the house. We'll keep our fingers crossed that something good will come along and soon!! Safe travels today :goodvibes

Scott...so sorry to hear that the offer didn't work out.....I will keep my fingers crossed that it will sell soon....

Sorry Scott .........

It was all we could afford!! :rotfl2: :sad2:
Joke i will give ya a joke.

1. Selling a house

When my son was about three, the people in
the family who lived behind our home had
their house for sale. My son, Allan, played
with their son, Curtis. One day Mom asked,
"Has Curtis sold his house yet?"

Allan, looked out the deck door across the
back yard and replied "Nope, it's still
there!"

These are actual comments left on U. S. Forest Service registration sheets and comment cards by backpackers completing wilderness camping trips:
"A small deer came into my camp and stole my bag of pickles. Is there a way I can get reimbursed? Please call."

"Escalators would help on steep uphill sections."

"Instead of a permit system or regulations, the Forest Service needs to reduce worldwide population growth to limit the number of visitors to wilderness."

"Trails need to be wider so people can walk while holding hands."

"Ban walking sticks in wilderness. Hikers that use walking sticks are more likely to chase animals."

"All the mile markers are missing this year."

"Found a smoldering cigarette left by a horse."

"Trails need to be reconstructed. Please avoid building trails that go uphill."

"Too many bugs and leeches and spiders and spider webs. Please spray the wilderness to rid the area of these pests."

"Please pave the trails so they can be plowed of snow in the winter."

"Chair lifts need to be in some places so that we can get to wonderful views without having to hike to them."

"The coyotes made too much noise last night and kept me awake. Please eradicate these annoying animals."

"Reflectors need to be placed on trees every 50 feet so people can hike at night with flashlights."

There is a family out there saying "Looking for a house is a joke. Just can't seem to find the right place".

This family is headed to your house, to the right place!

Hi Scott and everyone else, just poking in for a few mins to see what you all have been up to since we returned..its been a few weeks since we got back to "reality" and lets just say it stinks.

Wish we could click our heels and be back on that boat but guess that will have to wait. We did manage to get to Disneyland last monday since Raquel was off for Columbus day...it was Sophia's 1st trip to Disneyland....we got passes so now we can continue the magic at least on land for another year.

I just wanted to say what a great time we had on this trip!! All the pre-cruise efforts by so many definitely paid off, just wanted to say thank you to you all..... :thumbsup2 ....and again our deepest apologies to all that were within screamin distance of our little banshee Sophia :sad2: I guess a 2 yr old is not the easiest thing to be

oh and to the gentleman we (Tom and I) annoyed one night in the hall by talking too loud...shhhhh...I don;t think he was part of our group but nevertheless, sorry... even though it was before midnight and the rules or guidelines that I came across somewhere clearly stated hallway chatter was to be eliminated after midnight and it was nowhere near that time...think 11pm ish at most but I digress !!

Oh Scott, I had read about that memory card hell and made it a point to download the days pictures every night for that very reason. it was a pain but well worth it. Something i will definitely do from now on.... I even took it a step further and backed that up to an external hard drive in case the laptop was foobarred or worse lost or stolen.

At any rate, trying to get taxes done here last minute but will come back to post some images of the turtles that I think David ? had asked for (i don't remember the disboard name now) ... I knew I should have written it down

again, THANK YOU ALL for a great trip!!

Well Kids , another great trip for the books, and it was great to meet ya all. We are still at WDW, Dive Quest was last night and it was fun, all had a great time.

Heading home tomorrow, bummer, but we have great memories and new friends.

What is this DVC thing you all are talking about???? LOL Tee Hee

More later , I gotta get to AnimalKingdom.

Oh yes, If you could help us out with photos it would be great, we lost the data on one of our memory cards, including the OKW pre cruise party, and the first few days of the trip. Will try a recovery when we get home.

Enjoy kids, Later

It was a KEWL cruise…..
