OK.. I am now sufficiently confused and still rocking and rolling.. did you know there is an official name for what is happening to me since the cruise. Read here: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=39348

Great, this happened the last time but I did not know there was a name for it and it lasted over 3 weeks....and then went away. This time it is very strong and I am having difficulty focusing and I am feeling out of it.. OK. I know I am always out of it, but this is very strange. Calling the doctor tomorrow, not sure what they can do, but me thinks this is my last cruise.......at least it was a great one for sure. :(

We Hope you feel better soon!!!

Does not happen to us! just Need More Cruises :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Also known as the boaties :lmao: we also called it a boat moment!
It has happened before, from time to time, not all the time!

Did anyone else purchase this picture on the Wonder?????

If so.....did you notice something "fishy" on the picture??????

here's a hint.....

FlyingDutchman-1.jpg

Look very closely.....

The last time I checked.....Donald was hanging from the Wonder.....NOT the Magic....

You have to go on the Magic to get the Wonder? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Is it just me or is it killing everyone else just to be back? We had a fabulous time, and cannot believe this cruise went by so quickly. It was such a pleasure to meet some of you all and put faces with names or screen names at least. Scott and Lynn, I am honored to have met you -- best wishes in your new job role, and nail them all to the wall every last one of them. ;) If you ever find that you need help from Florida, holler.

Sweet Sue, Andrea tells EVERYone she sees about how much fun she had with her friend Christina. You are such a trooper, and an inspiration. Thank you.

Peter, Tracy, Tony, et al, thanks again for all your hard work on the roster, newsletter, P1P5, and all the additional info. All who had input totally influenced our trip.

Linda, thanks for the scrapbook stuff -- it was so much fun! You are truly talented.

To all -- seaulater, aphoenix, glindamood, Kitster and GOS -- who shared the Eli's Eco Tour with us, thanks for being good sports with our kids. What an experience that was -- probably the best excursion of the whole trip, and we had a fun time on each island. That poor "outside" family had no idea what hit them on that excursion. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

To those who put things into our fish extender, thanks for the pixie dust! My whole extended family really enjoyed it, as did I.

I admit I was a little concerned with how "crazy" this bunch might get, but the ones we did get to meet were a fantastic group of people. It was truly our pleasure to meet those of you we were able to meet.

Thanks again for your help in making our cruise the memory of a lifetime! I so hope to see you again.

Yes...we were on the Wonder....but the picture has "Magic" on the aft with Donald hanging....

Goofy hangs on the Magic, Donald hangs on the Wonder. Can't quite make out the words, but it wouldn't surprise me. On the August repo they had the wrong day on the CC picture :rotfl:

MdDS sounds like an unusual thing to encounter. If it fades soon then you're relatively lucky compared to some, eh? We hope your situation improves soon so you'll be OK to consider another sailing.

Now on a related but seperate line of thought... not having read any further links I was wondering why you could not find good help in the Boston area? I see you're in MA and maybe or maybe not close to Boston... but doesn't Boston have a huge educational network out there with a huge world class medical community out there? I would like to think that there might be an active management routine to accelerate the recovery with MdDS.

Otherwise, I am amazed to learn of this. I would never have guessed....

Get well soon! :groom:

Does THIS look like a Granny to you? You will surely be a Nana, or a G-Mama, or some other KEWL name. Cheers! Long live the Chocolate Martinis :teeth:

You mean this one????? You were right Cheryl....it was in Antigua.

That's one of Windjammer flagships, the Polynesia. I was lucky enough to sail on her back in the 80's and was sad to see the current condition of the ship. I have such fond memories of my trip aboard her in one of the on-deck cabins. If I can ever get my scanner working AND find my pictures from that trip, I'll post a comaprison shot here on the boards.

Anyone remember seeing this ship docked beside the Wonder?

Here is some more info on it.. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Was it in St. Kitts? :teeth:

Peter,

Saw this ship from our verandah in St Kitts. Have some pictures of it. Thought it might have been owned by Windjammer. Really neat. Must have been waiting to go out because it had laundry hanging from some of the ropes.

Carol

Sorry, will go along with Antigua. Haven't gotten that far with my pictures yet so didn't really have a reference point. :confused3

Denise, I think you look very happy with that martini glass in your hand...and Sweet Sue and Christina, the faces of happiness....

OK.. I might be feeling better...only rocking a little and slept in till 10:00am this morning, I never sleep that late. I am usually up at 6:00am with the birds..

I will be up in Boston on Friday for my husband's CT scan and blood work, I will be at the Mass General Hospital and will do a little research while waiting for him, next door is Mass Eye and Ear and if it is still continuing, I will just use the ER....if I cannot find a doctor to see me at MGH....We do have great hospitals in Boston, but I live on Cape Cod........so it is a bit of a hike...I will stop this rocking if it kills me and if I cruise again, maybe I will try those patches behind the ear thing....although I never got sick....it is just the constant motion after.

Ok, the stack at work is now manageable (actually no bigger than normal now :teeth: ) so I thought I'd take a moment to thank everyone for making this a memorable trip.

Thank you Tony for hosting the newsletter. I really appreciated it. It was great to finally meet you and Adrienne.

Thanks Peter for P1P5. It really helped me with the newsletter the last couple of months.

We enjoyed meeting everyone new and seeing some familiar faces from previous cruises.

Thanks to everyone who organized things on the ship from the wine tasting to the Secret Mickeys to the ice cream contest to the scotch and cigar meet. We didn't get to do everything, but had a great time participating in what we could.

Thanks to my tablemates at Table 23. We had a blast every night with all of you!!

Marsha, thanks for asking us to join you for the Illuminations Cruise and Regina for letting me sit up front :) What a great spot to take pictures from!!

I know we made some friends that will last a lifetime! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Marsha, do a tour of the Old Ironsides, and everything will be ok! :teeth:
Find me behind The Garden, in the mess of construction! :confused3

Thank You, for forming you own opinion!
I attended most meets even if I just watched or said hi to meet people!

We had a blast!

Thank you, JMS and V and the other Ladies.
Was great to see you or meet you! :goodvibes :grouphug:

And I thought the last few days befor the cruise were long ........This is my first day back and it seems like it will never end.

I truly believe that DCL needs to have a 12 step program for withdrawel!

This cruise ranks at the top of the best vacations EVER. We had so much fun meeting some of the new DIS'ers and hanging with the veterans. Thanks everyone for all the fun things that made it so special.

I cannot even begin to tell everyone how much fun my family and I had on this cruise. It truly was "wonder"ful. I didn't get to meet everyone I intended on meeting- or spending as much time as I would have liked with everyone, but that is what future cruises are for- right?

The dive at Epcot was awesome- beyond awesome. It was so special to swim up to the glass and see Noah- putting our hands together and blowing him kisses....makes a mother's heart happy. ( For those of you aware of my pre and post dive activities: 98.) I never did find Lynn to have the post picture taken- but it would have looked something like this

Congrats Denise on the new grandbaby!

Sorry about the rocking earth- I have that on occassion, still. I was sitting on my patient's bed on Monday, talking about the cruise and telling her that I wish the earth would stop rocking. She thought that was funny. ( I was wearing the ear patch and I still rock on land. :confused3 )

Anyways....

Should anyone be interested in sharing their address with the group- please PM it to me and I will put something together like the phone list- To get the address list, you must be on the address list.
