Everybody please pack to oral and topical benadryl with you....you never know when you might need it.
Celeste, would you like to see the medicine cabinet we travel with?

1) Sudafed (stuffy nose)
2) Benadryl (allergies)
3) Mucinex (cough and congestion)
4) Azithromycin (6 doses) - (sinus infections)
5) Imodium AD - (Montazuma's revenge)
6) Zantac 150 - (heartburn)
7) Axid AR - (heartburn and seasickness - I found out it works great for me on our last cruise)
8) Extra Strength Tylenol - (hangovers)

And that's just the stuff both of us will not travel without, but does not include any of the individual RX meds or daily nutritional suppliments we're currently taking. Thank goodness I'm a pharmacy tech....at least I won't end up poisoning either of us.

Evening...DH is helping me complete the personalized DVD's for my Grandmother's 90th B-day party this weekend!! Gotta love him :lovestruc :lovestruc ! He is such a trooper...he's cutting out the inserts for the dvd on the cutting board!

We are trying to also get ready for the cruise...yesterday, I opened the box from our May repo cruise and found our lanyards...considering bringing those too!! What a treat to see all of the treasures from last year's cruise...it really brings back fond memories!! :grouphug:

Thanks Bob, be good to meet you also. Life is too short to take yourself too seriously.
That's always been my motto ...

If you can't laugh at yourself ... I'll do it for you!

I'm so sorry! I totally forgot! Vicki - I would never bring over anything Mango or Tropical for that matter (just in case). I know how about Chocolate covered strawberries and Champagne??? :teeth:
Vicki loves the chocolate covered strawberries .... and champagne!!

When we're on board, remind me to tell about our previous experience from a couple of cruises ago. It's too long to go into here, be imagine coming back to your stateroom with a platter of 3-dozen chocolate covered strawberries and an apology from the head waiter!

You might not want to share that or we'll all be trying to get it..... :rotfl:

OK - but remember - we're still pretty new at this and not up to par on some of the ettiquete (sp?). Also - I remember the westward - DH and I were the last ones to get vouchers on embarktion day and then the following day were within the last 10 until they finally decided that a bunch of people were going to overrun the ship or mutiny and gave them out. :rotfl: That's when I first realized how  :dance3: some collecters are (I'm now including myself in that group - to a point - I have to draw the line on slumber parties! ;) )
That's ok. We do our best not to scare off the newbies. We got into it almost at the beginning of this wave (late 2000). We were taught the etiquette that made a good pin trader, and follow it. It sickens us to see others, who have been in from the beginning, think of it as a challenge to intimidate and cheat the newbies (called 'sharking' in the pin trading community). :furious: :furious: :furious:

I like to say that I'd never do something like for pins, but I know that I would have been out there with all of you sleeping in the hallway or fighting for vouchers just to get the pins for that cruise. What's the point of being there if you don't have any merchandise to vouch for it? :lmao:

Hi, my name is Emily and I am a pin-aholic. :lmao:
Everyone, let's welcome Emily ...

<All together>Hi, Emily!

Welcome to this meeting of the PTA ... 'Pin Traders Anonymous' ...

Hi Emily, my name is Vicki and I'm a semi-recovered pin-aholic. Are you going to the pin event at Epcot the weekend before the cruise? We're actually passing this year because there was nothing I couldn't live without being offered.

I am a proud veteran of the Magic slumber party!! :lmao:
Stephen and I are proud veterans of the last 3 Disneyland 2000 Pin of the Month releases. Arriving at Disneyland at 3am and lining up for a pin release that wasn't scheduled until 10am that morning. This is where I met my bestest ever friend, Candi Rose, my sister by choice.

Congrats!

Are we stopping at 15000?? :confused3 :rotfl:
Stop this group? Yeah, right!

YOU might be able to stop 'em with a shot of some heavy-duty tranquilizers!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hey Leslie - I resemble that remark. :rotfl2: :cloud9:

If memory serves me right, I was one of those crazies who spent the night in the hallway - and I'm not even a pin collector :rotfl2:  :confused3

did you even have to ask that question? :scratchin

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
:rotfl: No, not really.. I'm just padding my post count trying to catch up to Peter... :rotfl:

I have a hard time believing that they won't have some sort of special pin for this cruise. They'd be missing a money making opportunity and with Disney, how often does that happen?
If you would like to see the 2 pins that were previewed for each of the Southern Caribbean cruises, here they are:

10DayPin.jpg
11DayPin.jpg

At least they learned something from the repositioning cruises........these are limited to 1 per person and will be sold starting Sept. 18, on our cruise. The one on the left is for the 10 day folks. Ours is on the right.

Yes, I believe you were part of the cult that night...:rotfl2: do you know my pins are still sitting in the bag I brought them home in! One of these days I'll get around to framing the set........:rotfl2: I especially love that one from Mazatlan....:rotfl: :rotfl2:
