Okay Tracy....with Peter's help...found this on the 14 night thread:

TAG GAME.: If you would like to play, please PM {insert name} your stateroom # and names. If you don't yet have a cabin #, send it as soon as you get it.we will have one (or two) Mickey shaped door magnets that will get passed around the ship. Each person who receives the magnet will sign it, then go "tag" another participant's cabin door! It's a lot of fun. I'm hoping we can get the Mickey to go around to everyone more than once since we have 14 days!

Unfortunately Kara who planned this game isn't on this cruise but I'm sure someone will remember all the rules.

Hey Elaine - you have all the rules you need right there. That covers the game of DCL Dis Tag.

Oh my goodness you all talk a lot!! Whew!! I'm done reading! LOL Still need 21 more ppl to pay up for their pins so I can order. Thank so all so much for paying so quickly. I love going to the mailbox anyway, but having letters addressed to me (that are not bills) is such a pleasant surprise. Even though I know they are coming (I'm such a geek) lol Thanks for the nice notes too! It is supposed to hit triple digits tomorrow for the first time in like 10 years...guess I'm staying home! :surfweb: Talk to you all soon! I cannot believe we sail NEXT MONTH!!!

I thought I saw somewhere that coolers were not allowed :confused3
This is a soft sided cooler that zips up and rolls behind you like a suitcase. But I have personally seen people carry on large igloo hard sided coolers. They are pretty lax on the rules. I break the luggage rule every time with too many bags (gotta have a pair of shoes for every day, ya know)

Glass. :scared1:
I think that they would frown on glass bottles.
I need to petition the "Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde" beer people then and have them put into cans. This stuff is GRRRRRRRRRREAT! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Is anyone else having trouble finding adult pirate costumes? Every online store I come across is sold out of the good ones. :badpc:

Hey PIT - I sympathize with you. The last 3 trips I was bamboozled by the HUGE # of pirate: pirate: pirate: on board. I went all out for DH and rented him a 'Capt" outfit which really worked out well for him but left myself to the cheapie costume. Even at that my 'normal' wench costume was around $50-$60 (w/tax) by the time I finished w/accessories. And at that - their large size (supposedly fits 12-14 was rather small. I ended up with a plus size and even that ran rather small. I bought mine from Halloween Club in SoCal - if you happen to make it down here there are several around here that are open all year round. Let me know but try online at Halloweenclub.com, if not pm me and I can try to find one for you. As for me, this time, DH and I are going as co-capts. I (still unnamed) finally bit the bullet and decided to 'rent' a costume for the ship. You'll have to see it - its great down to the feather plume in my hat - I will definitely be Capt Lusty Wench (Hey  :yay: - inspiration) Yippeee - maybe I have a name now.

Anyway, last cruise my DH had a lot of compliments that he made me feel like the ugly duckling of wenches. Anyone remember the black-coated capt wearing a red scarf carrying a skull w/a blue diamond when we were in Curacao? That was Capt Chocolate Pig Out ( ) AKA DH. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Anywho, as I mentioned, we're renting our costumes and the lady in the costume shop went all out and although we're paying about $80 ea, by the time you average out a poor excuse for a store bought costume, it was only a few pennies more so we went that route. The only drawback is that yes we have to carry the costumes in our dress bag as they cannot be rolled up - mine not only has a coat, but the bloomers, pheasant blouse and the corset to boot (along with the boots). Now I have no idea how I'm going to sit down with all that stuff and still stay inside the corset! I was told I shouldn't wear a bra that most of the ladies were on display - my reply? - yeah but that was 300 years ago and I'm on a DISNEY :boat: ! :earsgirl: :faint: In fact, now I have to worry about them making me walk the plank! :rotfl2:

Try that avenue if your stuck although you don't get to keep it, you may get inspired to hunt for similar clothes in a thrift store when you have more time. As I mentioned, we intend to do several more Disney cruises so therefore, will have to find someone to sew us up some similar costumes. Hope this inspires several ideas - oh yeah - we got a discount if we supplied her with a 5 x 7 pix for her book so that others may see a costume with accessories. Doesn't hurt to ask! Hopes this helps!

Boy do I type a lot - must be cuz I'm stuck with dogs and 1 13 yo all day - I need warm, witty, sharp minds to sharpen my claws and destress on. :maleficen either that or I just discovered the icons and am using any excuse to use them. :dance3:

I'm gonna search around in Nor Cal when we get back on the road this week. I am rather (ahem) "chesty" and am a little reluctant to order online anyway as I don't want "the girls" to make a surprise debut on pirate night. Everything I am finding online seems to be rather low cut (weren't there MODEST pirates?) and I would not be comfortable letting it all hang out, so to speak. Getting one made is a great idea! I'm gonna have to look into that. As for dh, he wants an EXACT replica of cap'njacks costume from POC2. I told him good luck on that one! I can only find cheesy replicas so far. pirate: pirate: AAARRH, Mateys- Anyone know a Disney costume designer that can whip up a few costumes? Or better yet, anyone know Johhny Depp? :smooth: :smooth:

Happy Birthday Kathy!!!!

DSL was down for the last three hours, lots to catch up on here.

100oz mug is from Maverick Stores. They may have a web site.

Linda a Bubba Mug filled with a grass skirt would be very very costly.

Imonso, good idea having your son hawk the Bubba Mugs (made me LOL), he could do it as a school project.

I forgot someone asked about Green and Disney, well somehow history is unknown to me, green is a DIS identifier, used to Identify other DIS folks whilst at the parks or wherever.

How shameless of me to do this to try and get post 6600

you're not kiddin, in fact for almost the last 2 yrs he was selling .25 candy bars (when they have those 4/$1 sales at the supermarkets) for $1.00 each at school. And can you believe it was the cheerleaders who would tend to buy a ton of them?? go figure...

SO - I started calling around... and I found a bunch of the narrow base ones at $3.50 and the big 52 ouncers for $4. I'm gonna run down to get em' tomorrow... if anyone wants one - PM me and I'd be happy to get some for ya! However, I'll only handle about a dozen requests more or less in total as I intend to just pack em' all in a single box and ship them thru as luggage. Tax out here in CA is 8.25% - so if ya' want me ta get any for ya - let me know. Type and color and I'll confirm if I got it or not! :thumbsup2
