Just got back from POTCII and stayed through 4,000 names and nothing. What did they chop that we didn't get to see. Mike

Mike, you will have to go back Again !!! :happytv:

As that info will not be Posted here !! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You got Robbed !! :stir:

We have not seen it yet !! :teeth:
did watch POTC 1 this after !!

As I reach my middle-ages, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to lose some weight. In about a month, my husband and I are spending a weekend at a old friend's home at the beach. His wife is trim and gorgeous. I've got to lose 10 pounds, get a brow wax, get a manicure/pedicure and get my roots touched up before that weekend.

OH WELL, no more cookie dough icecream, glasses of wine and chips for snacks for the next month. Celery sticks and carrots for me.

Did ya catch the Governor’s line when he asked where the keys to the cell were??

Sorry Mike - I'm with Peter and Scott - no spoilers posted here. I guess you'll just have to wait and see it again on the Wonder.

Ken

Thanks to everyone for the info about the transportation and the Radisson prices!! Hope that everyone had a great weekend. Went and picked blueberries today it was HOT!! Now I am just trying to get them in the freezer. Found a great recipe for a blueberry buckle, might want to try that one, but think I will wait until the weather cools off a bit. No sense in heating the house up until I have to.
Prettyintink, yep, I am on the ol' diet cart right along with you. Hey do you think that if we have to wear mumu's to formal night, we could decorate them and have a contest?? Kinda like the fish extender contest? :rotfl:
Have a great week everyone!!

Just back from POC2 and we really liked it. Funny lines that only Disney folks would catch, we laughed a few times and were the only ones laughing. Also I always stay through all the credits and I would recommend one do this for this film.

We just got back from POC2 also. I thought it was great. And I second the recommendation to sit through all 4 thousand names in the final credits.

Sorry about that Mike. It was was well worth the 9 minute wait!
Yes, by all means, if, no when, you go to see the movie, stay until the end. :lmao:
I have been lurking on the POC chat board and was kind of tipped off to stay until the end.

But staying until the end cost me a dinner at Red Lobster(closed at 9). Had to settle for (sorry Elaine) Cracker Barrel.

Anyone else battling the bulge for this cruise?
Can't speak for anyone else, but ........
It's not my fault that the Krispy Kreme store is right down the street and it keeps haunting me! And the frozen custard. And.......... :teeth:

Is anyone doing the Eco Tour on CC? I think we are signed up for 10:30. Would be nice to know some fellow Disers going on this with us. We have never done it before but are really looking forward to it. Plus I want to get an up close of the flying dutchman, gonna have to bring the water camera for that.
Yes, Lee and I are at the same time as you. I've never done it before either. Did the kayak eco tour the last cruise.

I see I have lots of sympathizers. I used to be one of those trim gorgeous people. But then I met my dh, fattened him up, and here we are   But we try to lose weight we just sit on our butts and drive 10-11 hours a day. Makes it kinda hard to hit the gym as much as we used to. I totally vote for the mumu contest. It's weird because on our first DCL cruise I was so nervous that everyone was going to be GORGEOUS on the cruise. Boy was I glad to see that everyone's pretty normal. I am sad to say that after 3 DCL cruises I have not put a PINKY TOE in any of the pools. I know there are other pleasantly plump people there but I just can't shake that feeling that everyone is counting the dimples in my butt. My best friend is a beanpole naturally and she just makes me sick. AnyWho....
Bob and Lee- Glad to have you with us on the Eco Tour. Friends of ours have done this excursion before and loved it. My dh has never been on a jet ski before so I know he'll have a blast. I just hope they let us play on them a little bit.
Going to see POC2 tomorrow :3dglasses We tried to go tonight but they were SOLD OUT!!

i've never been trim and gorgeous, but i'm hoping if i lose 28ib before the cruise, i'll at least be trim! good luck to all my fellow dieters :cheer2:

Ok Kids, Lynn and I are with ya all in dropping a little weight before this cruise, (maybe I should tell Lynn this). I will have PT testing either before or I hope not after this cruise, so I have been running and getting my upper body strength back, lost a bunch after the surgery. We have a couple of months so lets get after it. If we don’t get after it DCL might have Richard Simmons as a guest speaker on our cruise, oh the inhumanity..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I think Mike should get to see POC2 again for free if they cut the very very last scene out. He was robbed.

I like staying through the credits of most movies, kinda outta respect for the folks that put a lot of work into a product for my enjoyment. Plus it is worth the time just in case there are some funny out takes etc...

Looks like we will be on the crossing to the Med when they release POC3. History Channel did a very good special on pirates, worth viewing.

I'm all over that losing weight thingey before the cruise. Started about two weeks ago. All this so I can gain it all back :yay:

Four years ago I lost 95 lbs, and have put about 20 back on (darn WDW food) :sunny: and I want to be down so I can eat what I want on the cruise.

Count me in the group of "losers". One good thing I found with the 14 day cruise last year I didn't gain any more weight than a normal 7 day cruise. In fact, I think it may have even been less. Those absolute must haves were spread out over two weeks instead of only one. I think these cruises will be better yet because we'll have a lot of port days and the plan is to keep active. I'd like to drop 10-15 pounds before the cruise. Dropped 42 pounds a couple years ago and gained 10-15 back.

You all should've heard the moans and groans we got from the kids when we told them about the scene at the end of POC2! They (of course) jumped out of their seats as soon as it was over and jetted for the door. :rotfl2: My ds's response to dh was, "Dad, after sitting through a 2 1/2 hour movie and it being so good I couldn't get out of my seat, I had to go bad!!!" :lmao: Ds has got the smallest bladder in the world so I stand amazed that he made it that long! About dieting, I am usually the person to wait until a monumental mark (i.e. 1 month, 2 month) to start my crash diets. Usually we do Atkins, I hate it but it seems to work the fastest. I just hate giving up my chai lattes from Starbucks ("What do you mean they have CARBS?") oh and the blueberry scones from there. I guess I'll pick a day and start, I'm not trying to lose alot just wanting all my dress clothes to fit. I hate buying a bigger size, but will if I have to. I try to exercise but the only way I run is if someones chasing me :rotfl: So if my attempt to lose weight fails- Us ladies will have the charter meeting of the MMF-The Muu-Muu Fraternity. Then we could eat whatever we want on the cruise and never have to secretly unbutton our top buttons on our pants before dessert even comes :yay:

I need to go back again, too. Apparently there were some significant scenes that just slid by...
