Well - since there are TWO things happening over in O-town, I suggest we have TWO meets in Cape Canaveral! Let's start at the Tiki bar for drinks, pool and fun then migrate to Grills for dinner. What is Grills anyways? It's not another one of those Scottish restaurants is it?

And Peter - you are definitely welcome to come to our party!

We have no problem with it what so ever and we talk to Several people on this forum !!!

You can call a land line for .02 a minute.
but internet is Free..

Was able to talk to Tracy on her repo cruise from the ship, she had the wireless package.

yes if you have a web cam ..
but you can also upload / download.
Also all you need is a MIC & speakers easy download.

We finally got DSL. It's great. The wonders of modern technology. Just sitting here on the deck, listening to radio margaritaville and doing the Dis. This could turn into a very bad habit.

With the DSL, I might have to get a webcam too.

Oops. Time for dinner. Later.

I think we did the last one from 4PM to 6PM. That way folks could head out to a park or diner. So will stick with that time frame. We will have plenty of munchies and some wine, so BYOB. Will also have something non alcoholic available. Will request a RSVP closer to the date, so we can get an idea as to how many folks to plan for. The location will be somewhere at OKW.

I've never had Scottish food. What kind of food do they have?

Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Fries, shakes. happy meals, combo meals.

Scottish Resturant = McDonalds.

I know that was bad.

Scott, I thought only us Canadians referred to McDonald's as a Scottish restaurant.

P.S. Sue, trust me...you wouldn't want to eat at a Scottish restaurant....lets just say Haggis....

We will be staying at the park for 2 days after the cruise...(Fri/Sat) soooo... here's a question for the people that tend to know everything... like Tracy, Peter, Scott, and others.

Is there a special discount park ticket offer for DVC members? or Returning DCL cruisers? We are also a Military ID card holders, AAA members, and one of us is a Senior! hahaha trying to save money any way we can...

I know you were looking for Park Tickets, but did you find good rates on rooms for Thurs, Friday & Saturday??? I called WDW and they are so pricey...I know that 1st day we are just going to be so tired that all we do is sleep!!

If anyone has a suggestion for rooms, nice, priced well etc. let me know!!

Been gone all day at a scrapbook meet. I won a ton of stuff too!! Last time I bought three raffle tickets (total $6) and won about $300 worth of product!

Bob, Skype is great! Bill looked into it for work a couple years ago and says that now it is tons better.

I don't think I'll have my laptop this time. Too much to lug around. Anyway, the person I spoke to most on the Repo cruise will be on this cruise with me

Dumbo-tron is the big screen by the Goofy pool on the Magic. The only place I've seen it called that is on the DISboards. That's what gave her away

Happened to me on the streets of Boston, several Weeks Ago.
She had on a KEWL Disney jacket. I said awesome Jacket we got to talkin an sure enough she is on the Boards.
I have seen her several times now on her walk to work

Susie.. we are a Military family so we booked at the Shades of Green for Thursday thru Sunday for about $100 a night... not bad huh... We stayed there during Christmas 2004, same price and it was great, our rooms were RIGHT ON THE GREEN and our dinners were included! I don't know what the other hotels are charging as I didn't even think to look into them.
