Maybe it's a regional thing, Marilyn as we have 'em down sarf! When I'm back from WDW, I shall be getting a couple to carve out and put in the window with tealights and my DD always makes a delish pumpkin pie...

Oops, I forgot about those. I was so busy thinking about eating pumpkin I forgot folk carve them!! I don't 'do' Halloween I'm afraid.

nope, they do have them here but they're not eaten that much really, although as Karen says they're carved up for Hallowee'n by some families. ANother thing to try.....

Had fun today checking out flights and hotel prices for next September

How did you get on? We are staying for 2-3 weeks after the cruise(s) so waiting for VA flights to come available in November. Hopefully the prices will be better than the VH ones already on sale.

Well, because of when Becky will go back to Uni (all being well) we will probably go for a week or so beforehand and maybe a couple days after. So the flights are there Mark's going to phone tomorrow and check as it seems we may have enough airmiles for a couple of flights if we just buy a few more miles! That would be great and mean we could book the flights next weekend! That means we would almost definately be going (see my cunning plan)

OMG I'm already booked up! I'm just so flippin' anal about flights - last year we booked with DCL for the whole family to cruise New Year 2008 then had to cancel as I couldn't arrange sensible flights for the 7 of us...

We have 3 nights before the cruise in WDW - one night in SSR and 2 in VWL as I had points I wanted to use up...

I would rather VH as you only have to pay a deposit plus you have ATOL, but I will wait and see. Like you I like everything booked.

Nightmare! Trouble was we were paying for everyone to cruise (3 cabins) and the kids were paying for their own flights. When I initially researched flights at that time of year, they were around £500 pp however when they became available for December 2008, they were minimum £800!!! Well, the kids couldn't afford it, so we cancelled...
