It was all Mandy's fault...then she didn't even go on the cruise!

(The moral of the story however, is be careful of what you say in front of Deb...it can turn into an ADVENTURE!)

ESPECIALLY if Champagne is involved!

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh and Erica... everyone is tired of this over on the repo probably and I apologize ahead to those on here... (oh...stuff it!!!)

He got special dispensation... :lovestruc I think it was the bow...

Oh and Erica...you should have heard Bendy's reaction when Planky got home and there was a tutu in his bag!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

hey! I resemble that remark!!!:rotfl2:

Well, it was about a year before our PC repo cruise and me and UKANGEL were just chatting and one thing let to another and a conversation that started with coffee ended with champagne. She dreamed up the Champagne Girls and we both took off with the idea.

On the PC cruise, we had a champagne tasting of five different varieties. Even girls who didn't drink came and enjoyed the party. You must wear pink and you get a pink tiara and take a picture to put in a pink frame above your bar at home. We did all of that. And we have our mascot, Sassy Bubbles.....who is Cheri/notsolittlemermaid.....who dressed as a pink tink. We had a LOT OF FUN!!!

We posted pictures on here if you want to go back and find them....enjoy!

So are you in? If so, just copy our logo into your signature if you want and there's going to be another Champagne Girls tasting on this cruise too. The list will be done as we get much closer and the tiaras will be provided.

Ah yes, Deb, I remember that day well......might even make the event this time!:rolleyes1

Jan... Have you seen Sarah???

She makes Snow White look like she's got a tan... I think we should up the SPF...;)

What do you think Erica???

We have a bid in for SPF 60 for Sarah... want to talk her into it???

No, I have not had the pleasure, but I use NO AD SPF 60 so my skin graft is protected.

Neutrogena make a SPF 70!!!

Anyone else???

Of course wrapping Sarah up head to toe in clothing would help, but I fear she'd sink if she went swimming... and we don't want to lose her... she's too precious to Erica and Lionel... :grouphug:

Ok... I looked it up... the highest I can find so far is the 70... BUT... 100% is just staying out of the sun... We'll have to book Sarah into the Spa for the week... :goodvibes

Are any of our B2Bers thinking of cancelling one of the cruises to book a 2010 one?

I am thinking about it but really will be disappointed not to do this and the 19th Sept one.(I would cancel the 19th) It does seem sensible though. I have been so looking forward to doing these 2 cruises.

You caught me! Yes, I have been thinking about it. I haven't done anything yet because I would LOVE to do the B2B and it's relatively inexpensive. But if I have to, I would cancel the 9/19/09 and stay on this one too. I have to wait until I see the prices of the Christmas cruise for 2010 and then I'll decide. But it's been in the back of my mind as a way to get to do the 2010 cruise.

I so wanted to do a B2B, and the second cruise is so reasonable and won't go very far towards covering the 2010 cruise, but it would make me feel better if I did cancel it!!!

That's exactly how I feel about it. I'm still holding out until I get prices. But I probably will end up cancelling and that's a shame. I always wanted to do a B2B and these are priced right. I guess I can always do a B2B another time.....2011 maybe......on one of the new ships???

That would be nice Deb.

Not sure we would manage 2011 though - John will put his foot down eventually I am sure, and we are getting older of course, plus who know what will happen to the economy and exchange rates by then.:confused3

The economy is a big concern, but I would want to do at least one cruise on the new ships.....I may not be able to do the inaugural cruise, but there's always a later date.

I don't think I could ever give up cruising on DCL. Fortunately, John feels the same way.

We love sailing in the Caribbean.....Southern preferred.....which is why I HAVE to do the Christmas cruise.
