Hi Vicki! I wasn't on the WB PC cruise BUT I'm so sorry to hear about the problem with your wrist... I hope it continues to improve... We're on the first Baltic of 2010 so not your one but it's definitely gonna be fab - it'd better be because of $$$!!! Tortolly ;) looking forward to meeting you next September... :goodvibes
Best wishes,
Kaz...

We must get Vicki to share how she broke her wrist and the resulting problems!!

I just posted these on the Baltic thread but wanted to share with my Tortola pals too...

A couple of pics from my recent trip to WDW where I met my girl Monica!!!

Date: October 22nd 2008.
Venue: Beaches & Cream.

I ate this - a 'No Way Jose'!

It really is "A Peanut Butter and Hot Fudge Delight with Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Morsels, Whipped Cream and a Cherry..."

Monica ate this - 'Mom's Chocolate Cake'!

The waitress took a photo of us...

And for all you Champagne Girls, I self-took a few photos of myself around the "World Showcase" - here's me with a Kir Royale from la belle France in the background. Salut!!!

Ah well, you get the general idea!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Woohoo, piccies of you and Monica. And the food of course!

You have 2 cute handsome sons!!;) Oh, I see Upper Class suites. Roll on 4 weeks and I will be sitting(or lying) in one myself!!

How do you rate Cape May breakfast?

Thank you - they are rather lovely chaps if I do say so myself... :goodvibes Yes, I try and fly UC as much as funds/points allow - buying into DVC has made a huge difference on that score as previously we used to spend a fortune on family hols and just fly PE! Now I hunt around for the more reasonable UC fares and more often than not get them...;) Enjoy your flight!!! :flower3:

My fave is the one at Ohanas but this comes a reasonable 2nd. We've been twice - I really enjoy the character interaction plus the brekkie pizza and cinnabon-esque bread n butter pud are delicious!!! :cloud9:

I fear we might not be able to continue flying UC, but I usually say we are only paying for us these days, and we don't spend as much as a family going on holiday and that makes me feel better. PE was very good though and we might fly that class next September. We are in UC in April-June though!

I am trying to work out which character meals to book for when our grandkids are with us next may. CP is a must as long as they haven't taken away the characters by then. I was thinking Tusker House too as we have 2 boys 9 & 11 with us as well as the 7 years old girls, but have been reading the characters are just rushing through!! As the kids like all different things I was thinking buffets would be a better bet than Ohana or else that would have been a great choice.

Hi everyone,
I have been missing in action this summer. For those of you who remember me from the WB PC cruise, I have been in therapy for my wrist all summer:sad2: , and although I have a ways to go, it is getting better.:yay: :yay: I have missed the Dis boards, but hopefully I am going back to the part in this thread where I left off way back in June or July, and read all the post---or at least I want too. If anyone could catch me up as far as group plans, I would appreciate it. Just the condensed version--I know that's asking a lot. I am REALLY looking forward to this trip for 14 days:banana: -I didn't get to enjoy a lot of the latter part of the PC cruise, so I can't wait for this one. We are also booked on the 12 night Baltic cruise on July 6th, 2010-anyone else from here on that cruise? I need to go to that cruise meets board also. That cruise is causing some "price panic", but we have a long time to save up. I guess I have gone on long enough for now, but hope to be back on the boards now...Vicki

We're in for the Capital City Cruise. You're right it is a looonnng way away.

Oooooh, I've just found something out!!!! Not sure if it is a secret.........

Shhhhhh.......

IT'S MONICA'S BIRTHDAY ON MONDAY!!

Glad you liked it, Deb! :thumbsup2 It's amazing how the creative juices flow when you've got housework chores AND a 1500 word essay to write... ;) :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: SO TRUE! And love the photos!

MONICA's BIRTHDAY...not a secret....at least anymore :rotfl:

Vicki, glad to see you back on the boards and glad to hear the wrist is imporving.

Marilyn, you suggested a friend for me on Facebook and I've been wracking my brain trying to think who this person is....help!

I think I'll put together some more photos to send off to Chicago sister and Charlotte brother to taunt them more about this cruise. Don't know what 'theme' I should choose. Restaurants/Food? Spa/gym? Adult venues? Should I just do a 'walking' tour of embarkation day? Oh, and I could also do a 'people I know that you'll get to meet on the cruise' one. Decisions, decisions AND a good chore shirking project too!

.

Jackie, that is Angie, of Angie and Dennis!!!:)

I never liked my name, so when I went nurse training I changed to my middle name Ruth. John met me when I was Ruth and it took him ages to get used to calling me Marilyn, to which I reverted when out of that setting. On the rare occurance I come accross anybody from that era it is strange hearing them call me Ruth!

I know I've posted some pics already but just to let my fellow Tortolians know I have written a mini-trip report and if you're interested you can read it here...

I'm up for suggestions...

I could change mine to Babara, but it would confuse mom...

Morning Torotlians!
