Me too. My DW thinks I'm nuts cuz I keep looking for new updates on this weather system.

I too have been checking on this storm every couple of hours, and i'm not a techno geek - my DH could be called that though my stomach dropped yesterday when i saw it forming - until i saw the computer models - i think my weather ocd comes from growing up in Mississippi and living through numerous tornados-i knew every county in the state and their proximity to me so i would know how close storms were

I went to school in Buffalo and my mom's side of the family grew up in West Seneca. They live in Rochester, NY now. I have to agree about the crappy weather. They can't wait to get here!! (into NC)

i completely understand - my parents went to WDW with us last year - as much fun as we had - it is hard to make everyone happy - at least on the cruise you don't have to worry about where you are going to eat -

Arrived this afternoon after a good flight. Have a great view of the car park at SSR!!! What do you have to do to get a good view?????? We see to be jinxed. Ah well, too hot to sit out on the balcony anyway and we are closer to the 'quiet' pool, laundry, Carriage House and the walk to DTD. Lets look at the good.

Walked to DTD tonight. Have a terrible headache so soon having a shower and getting to bed. Normal British thing the first night is to wake at 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am, then give up and get up!!

DHS tomorrow I think.

Any day at Disney, even with a crappy view is better than no day at Disney at all. I'd give anything to be in Disney this week before the cruise, but I'll just wait out a WDW trip until Nov., not too far off now. At least I've got my DCL to give me my Disney fix until then.

I haven't been watching it closely, but I'll be happy as long as we get to Tortola and St. Thomas. We can have rough seas if it turns out like our cruise in '04. We made it to all of our ports, CC included, and just had to go back to PC a few hours early. That wasn't too terrible.

Evening everyone...We are all packed, and anticipating Thursday afternoon! It can't get here soon enough! We have a full day at the parks planned on Friday, and then heading our to the port Saturday morning!

We are also watching the weather...Can't ever be too prepared...As long as I get on the ship, I don't care where we go! We have been to St. Thomas before, but not Tortola, but we will settle for whatever is given to us! The path for Fred now looks good for us, no where near us!!!!

I miss Redlinski's. I miss the Butter Lamb. I miss Antoinette's Sweets. I used to go there all the time as a kid.

I miss Kone King. And I really miss orange chocolate. And white hots.

14 HH was our church when I was a kid and went to Buff State too. My parents still get a butter lamb every Easter from the Broadway Market and you'll be happy to hear that Kone King is still alive and well in the summer months.

As we were driving back from Longboat Key to Orlando, we noticed a big yellow balloon at Downtown Disney. Have you guys checked it out since you are staying at WDW? It seemed to have a Peter Pan theme all around it.
Hope you are enjoying the great weather around here... I don't think it has even stormed since you guys got here.

We have been down here 2 days and I think we're finally getting over the travel day, getting up at 3:30 a.m. for the 5 a.m. shuttle to Midway, which wasn't that bad in and of itself, but rather the subsequent death march in trying to pick up our rental car in DTS.

We have the best room we've ever had at VWL. We have a 2 bedroom corner lock-off on the top floor. Three balconies. Three fabulous views.

We also had a great anniversary dinner at Boma. After 22 years we can't believe it's our first year.

is it fireworks photo enhanced with a special lense or photo shop program?

Just organizing the FE gifts by deck, cabin #, genders, etc. Did we ever find out if Marylovesdisney has girls, boys or one of each? I just have that there is a 12 & 17 yr old in the room.

Are you talking about the balloon ride? I haven't checked it out, but saw reports when it first came out. From what I remember, its similar to a ride at DL Paris. Not cheap to ride and goes up, then down.
