Well, I've been up since BEFORE the crack of dawn! It's 5AM and I've already cleaned the kitchen. Of course, I can't fall back asleep now that I've been up and moving. Hope the powers that be aren't upset when I go take a nap on the couch in the lobby.

I must protest, perambulate was what I sad, and perambulate was what I meant. I meant exactly stroll. Marilyn just doesn't know how to enjoy the relaxing squidge, squidge, squidge through mollasses. I shall have to take her under my wing and instruct her.

You're just overexcited about the trip on Friday.

I on the other hand, got up even earlier because I'm under a boat load of stress this week. On late Friday afternoon I was given a critical task to get done which has contractual and rather nasty implications if I don't get the answer right. It was also dumped on me at the last minute for a project that I have not really been involved in.

Needless to say, it's causing me to lose some sleep. AND I feel like taking a nap NOW, and it's only 7:30 a.m.

(PS - No telling if you see me passed out with that bottle of Grey Goose and the big 'ole hunk of chocolate cake! Just realize that I reshuffled my "priorities" for that moment! )

Ian, this may be heresy, but I would think that Grey Goose Orange would be delightful with the chocolate cake.

I think the straight alcohol - if it's good stuff - makes sense. Why waste points on mixers?

Well I quit being lazy last night and finally did something toward the cruise. I finally started working on a packing list. One thing down, now to actually pack it all next week.

Anybody remember that? I know I'm dating myself. But it's running around in my mind as I wind down my trip preps with only six more days until heading out of here.

All I have left is last laundry (one small load of jackets...it's FREEZING in PA already and one hand wash blouse), last bags (bathroom and carry on) and finalizing lists of disers for all events. I'm SO ready to go.

I'm getting a cut and hair color and eyebrow wax on Thursday morning. YEAH! My last hair appointment was May 08 for my last cruise. My Lilly Munster (oops dating myself again) white streak has grown past my collar already. I must go get my tropical look back. Then I get my mani/pedi in Cocoa Beach and I'm ready for formal night.

John has taken care of all the banking and alerts. He only has three more days of work left. He's itching too.

Gonna see you and scream and jump in the terminal real soon....We'll all be grinning from ear to ear....so happy to see each other and our Mickey!!!

CHAMPAGNE GIRLS UPDATE.......

DCL does NOT have any space available for Sunday Sept 13th. They suggested Monday Sept 14th at 2:30 pm. I asked if there was anything else available on a sea day because I have a Palo High Tea on Monday at 3:00 pm with three other ladies. I'm waiting to hear back again.

If nothing else comes back as available then I will book Monday the 14th as a last resort only. I really don't want to give up my Tea, but I will if I have to. I could try to reschedule it, but I know that it's going to be near impossible. We'll see what they answer. I'll let you know.

Jan, Harry has good days and bad days. Mostly he is very tired. He gets his next chemo treatment on Friday. We are hoping he feels decent for our trip. WDW might be a bit rough but I don't mind taking it slow. I also don't mind going off by myself for a bit if he doesn't feel up to it. The cruise will be relaxing. He is just hoping that he won't lose his appetite and be able to indulge. So far his appetite is very good. I am hoping he can put on a few pounds in case he doesn't feel like eating as much as treatment goes on. Sorry, I don't have a scanner to post a picture and wouldn't know how if I did. I'm sure Harry wouldn't want me to post a picture anyway. He is still adjusting to the loss of hair.

How is Tom doing? I am so glad that we get to cruise together again. Won't be long now.

Tom is doing well. He gets frustrated that some days he has more energy than others. I keep reminding him that the MDs said it would be like that. Sounds like Harry is experiencing the same emotions about the same ups and downs of energy.

If anyone will have yummy food to tempt his palate it will be WDW and DCL!! We too hope he packs on a few pounds just for later use. Resting at WDW is a good thing to do--people watching or sitting for several rounds on the People mover or monorail!!

Well the weather is looking good for next week now. Just need to keep all tropical depressions, storms and any hurricanes at bay for the next month or so!!

I hate to say I told you so... but my Weather Angel has NEVER let me down - and since Jackie will be in WDW that week, I know she wouldn't let down her SPECIAL angel, Jackie was Mom's favorite... and Paul I think... her two "twins"

FISHLIPS DINNER.....

We are confirmed for 18 to meet for dinner at Fishlips at 6:30 pm on Friday Sept 11th. We will be sitting downstairs with a nice view....just ask for the DISers. I have requested one high chair, lots of crab legs and separate checks. If there are any other special requests, please let me know. Monica will be handing out our lanyards. YEAH!!!

Not to bring down the mood, but my DH John has asked if we could do a special toast to remember 911. I think it's important to never forget. I hope no one has any objections.
