This is Gandalf. We lost him 3 years ago. He was mine and John's favorite dog ever. He was so perfect. We both still miss him.

John's home from work.....time to bag and wrap the leg. I have to wear a plastic boot thing that goes from my foot to my theigh and compresses my leg in stages. It only hurts sometimes, but I have to lay down flat for an hour without moving. I hate it. Then we rewrap and that feels good. We do this every day. Then on weekends we soak and scrub. I'm on my second batch of antibiotics and will find out next Monday if I'm going to need number three.

Actually, Peg posted on our thread on the DISboards when she couldn't get through on my cell. I think it was you who told me Peg was looking for me.

No more critters for me, too much traveling scheduled. But when I'm a crotchety old lady and housebound, I'm sure there will be another fur-baby in my life!

Oh, love the kitties too! I lost my cat, Acoma, last year while on the Panama Cruise. Poor Peggy had to deal with that while I was gone. She was over 17 years old and Peg had owned her for a while before I did. She was a great cat...never got into any trouble and was very social even though she didn't like to be held. She loved her cousins Faith and Hope (Peg's min-pins) and the two dogs she and I owned together, Jock and Fivel. She loved to play chase with her 'brothers'.

Miss her.....

The cat on the left, Spot, died last year at the age of 25+. She'd been with me through marriage, cross-country move from Oregon, widowhood, 3 hurricanes, another move (only 15 miles), adoption of the two younger kitties, and my cancer treatment. She just crawled in her carrier and fell asleep.

I forgot when posting earlier how much I enjoyed JULIE & JULIA! The crowd clapped at the end of the film, it was refreshing and lovely to see a movie that was clean and delightful to the senses. I DID want to eat afterward and ended up having a chocolate covered strawberry at Godiva. Not bad considering what I wanted to do!

The theatre I was in also clapped. Awesome movie.

I just tried to reply to your note and screwed it up somehow... i am trying again. We would love to be included if possible. Even if y'all don't fill our door with surprises.... we would like to pass out the gifts for the fun of it. Could yall put us on the 'need a list of participating rooms' list. i am new at all this, so i haven't quite figured out how to do everything. i guess y'all will provide a list of rooms when we get on the ship? And i guess i will need some idea of how many people to buy for.... i know - i must be slow. y'all will have to train me.

Also, I went from a 12 gty to a 10. Room 2647 under Parrot Cay. Looked at stateroom reviews and didn't see anything. Is this good?

I'd say no news is good news! Did you look at the cabins surrounding it?

You might have some 'thrusters' noise when we are docking, but you'd generally be awake when that happens.

Got our stateroom today, well, I remembered to look today, perhaps it was yesterday. But yippie skippy, navagators guarantee 7 to 7606, which appears to me to be a catagory 5! Even though my cruise page still says 7. I'm not going to quibble....

Yep, upgraded to a 5. The website will always show the catagory you booked, but the stateroom number you will end up in.

You should have a great view of Castaway Cay (as the ship usually backs in) and should be able to see the pirate night fireworks from your balcony, should you be too tired to be up on deck watching them.
