OK, since I'm on a doing laundry on vacation kick (can you tell I'm starting to think about packing?) here is the other packable detergent, Dropps.

I have not tried these but I have heard good things about them. They work out about .04 more a load than the Purex sheets, assuming the load only uses 1 Dropps. Still either one is cheaper than mini boxes and pack easily.

I may have to go to our local Jewel supermarket this weekend and get the Purex Complete sheets and give them a test drive in the safety of our own home. I'll try it on Sukie's clothing rather than mine, just in case anything goes wrong.

We have a front loading washing machine (have had it for about 10 years). I usually by the HE stuff.

At any rate, the only retail location I've ever seen Dropps is Loew's.

Hi Just checking in.

Whooo Hoooo...... Ordered our WDW 7 Day Park Hopper Passes today! We also went out over the weekend and bought 2 pieces of new luggage which I am excited about. Don't know how much luggage we will actually have since we'll be gone 2 weeks but I know I'll do laundry at SSR before we leave for the cruise. I really don't want to do laundry while onboard the ship. I've already set up DME for our arrival on September 5th and DCL ground transportation for September 12 to the Port and September 19 to MCO. All my ADR's are made for WDW too! I really need to start making a list of what needs to be done still and definitely start a packing list. Hope I remember everything.....

NOW I'm exhausted!

Me too....as I know each day's FIRST outfit will be a sweaty mess...then I'll have to change to my evening outfit. So I know I'll burn through stuff that week at WDW.

Did you say you have a LOT of laundry supplies in your Owners Locker?

There are lots of photos, so if you are planing on doing it on your own (or on the tour) it give you a good idea of what all is involved in getting 'down' there.

Of course, there are the early arrivals to sunny Florida:

SIX WEEKS from tonight, Cheri will show up at my door and we'll be heading down to the Ramada Inn by the airport for Friday AM flight. That means six weeks from today I have to be packed! So about four weeks is try on all my clothes and shop for anything needed day. Hmmmm..think I can knock off another five pounds by then, fur shur.

Does anyone know how the docs are sent these days? I have been making my own reservations lately and this one I have kept transfering through DU. I can't remember how I will receive them. I am concerned because we are going on a road trip for two weeks and I can just see them sitting on my front porch getting rained on or getting stolen. I will have my neighbors keep a watch out but still...........
