Here is something to look forward to

Guess what it is?

Got my folder and packing cubes yesterday (came 5 days earlier than the estimate). DH was not excited, maybe he will wwhen he sees how much room it saves on packing and we won't need (hopefully) the extra bag. Started my staging area, got the kids' clothes all out. Gotta do mine and DH still needs to get his out. Then let the packing begin!

I was so disappointed :sad1:......I ordered 2 packing folders from ebags (thanks Ian for the 20% off link) over the weekend but a day latter they emailed me and said the company that makes those no longer carry them. I was really looking forward to using them, oh well, maybe another time. My husband sees no need for anything like this either, must be a "man" thing. He says "you just zip the suitcase closed and everything is now compressed." I have started gathering things together and the packing should begin today! Only 2 more sleeps til WDW! :dance3:

Have a wonderful day!:flower3:

Sorry Evette.

Nan, sweetie, I know you're late dining. I think we're at your table or, at the very least, nearby... :rotfl::lmao::rotfl: Seems you really do forget things really quickly... :rolleyes1

::yes:: This cruise will be our fifth. I wish it were 6th - I wanna make it to the next level too...

I really am losing it, more than you even see here. The only good thing is that so are my other "mom" friends at school, we are a collection of forgotten appointments and children to be picked up

Nan. You are super duper cool. This is our 4th cruise as well. All of the really cool people have only been on 4 cruises (or will have been after this one). Four is a super cool number. Four is this year's Five.

That's right, 4 is the new 5 I concur :thumbsup2

Yeah....you four time cruisers just keep telling yourselves that.

OH NO...it's slow at work this morning....the day is DRAGGING.....

I know all heck will break loose at 4PM when I want to go...............

.

OH....printed my SW boarding pass....got A21. Cheri got A22 about ten minutes later, so it looks like the 'early bird' worked and these were assigned to us yesterday. Normally within 15 minutes all the A's would be gone (at least that's been my experience here in Phoenix).

I don't want to pay the xtra $10 per person (that'd be $40 each way for my family). I hope we get a low B boarding group or that we get to board as a family as my son is 4. I plan on checking in at the 24 hr mark so keeping my fingers crossed that Chicagoans don't want to pay the extra. Have fun at WDW "playing" with your friends. Don't get too worn out at your slumber party that you have to rest on the ship. We want to play too! ;)

Anyone see the CNN news this morning? Looks like the Wonder picked up a "save."

http://cnnwire.blogs.cnn.com/2009/09/03/man-rescued-after-falling-from-cruise-ship/

"Two things saved his life: He knew how to swim and hold on to hope, and he was wearing a white T-shirt beneath a full moon. The white T-shirt made it easier for them to see him," Johnny Gonzalez, of the U.S. Coast Guard in Miami, told Local 6 News partner Florida Today. "He was a little tired, but in good condition."

One more thing to remember to pack - a WHITE shirt! Maybe they'll have a sale on board. (get it? sail sale? oh, well) :rolleyes1

I went ahead and sucked up the $80 to get the Early Bird boarding each way. We do have a 3 yr old... so we would get to board between A & B... but the last time I flew SW I was one of the first Bs to board and there we not many open groups of seating for the two of us travelling together, let alone 4.

Hint, these are outside... on the ship (or at least they were there in 2007 on the Magic).

On the Magic, taken early on a Friday morning (don't you love when the camera tags info to pictures??) around 6:30 a.m., hence heading toward Castaway Cay, but not there yet. Outside, so a light of some sort...a little contract tweaking shows the lights are inside two porthole shaped "windows"

Sort of looks like a searchlight or high level deck lighting.

This sounds like CSI.

It totally does sound like CSI! But an open ended investigation! Maybe I shouldn't say what is it until after the cruise and you guys can look for it once on board.;)

Gosh, this sucks... next week is going to be super busy since we are out of town this weekend for Labor Day in Longboat Key... hope the kids don't get fried in the sun.
