I'd be glad to join you at Cabo and any time! ::yes::

Oh I SO RECOMMEND LaNouba! If you've never seen a Cirque show, you really should do this. It's worth every penny. Grab dinner at Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express before hand...:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Kay...sending you a PM with more stuff (did you get the e-mail also?)

Just did my "Dining Presentation" with my brother in law and got his picks for post cruise WDW. He did GOOD! ::yes::

Arrival night: Cape May-Beach Club (convenient to BWV...and they'll be plenty tuckered out that night). I did mention saving dessert for Beaches N Cream, as ice cream is it's own food group in Jose's opinion.

High-end dinner choice: Kimono's at the Swan (the call of sushi)

Dinner choice: Boma - AKL

Breakfast: Kona Cafe (ahhhhh, the call of Tonga Toast!!! That boy will eat ANYTHING if it involves bananas!) :lmao:A good choice for a MK day.

Lunch choice: Yak & Yeti (perfect for a AK park visit)

Lunch choice: Tangerine Cafe - Epcot (I know they'll probably have several visits there)

"Out of the box" lunch choice: Raglan Road - DTD I bet this pick surprises Peggy.

When he was looking at one of the maps, SiFi Drive in caught his eye and I told him only for a burger and a shake, but a very cute theme.

So tomorrow I'll get to play with the new on-line system and book their first night (using Peg's sign in, so she can go in later and add/edit stuff). Don't think I'll need a 3-4AM wake up to book Cape May, thank goodness.

Ian I BOUGHT ALL THREE BOOKS....had $16 gift card in my purse, so only spent $12 of my own money....less than two movies out. When I walked back in Walden Books the clerk who had tried to help me earlier, looked at me, I said "Stroud", and he smacked his forehead :headache: and went right back to the books. They had a special display in the back for kids summer reading, that's why they weren't on the shelf in the SiFi/Fantasy or Young Adult section. :sad2: Thanks for your help.

.

Sounds like great choices for restaurants. Cape May Clam Bake is one of those things I've always wanted to try, but there are no choices there for Hisselfness.

I will be VERY interested to hear your thoughts on the trilogy, given how much I've played it up.

It still surprises me that it's considered young adult reading. It just seems too urbane at times to be young adult novels.

Jackie, be careful what you wish for...I just might want to meet up with you in Cabo some day, but it will have to be after 2010 as my vacations are all planned until then :upsidedow

Kay, I second Jackie's LaNouba recommendation:thumbsup2 I've seen it twice and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences!

Jackie, your BIL is lucky to have the best planner around! You did good for him :thumbsup2

I'd vote for LaNouba too. I've seen it a few times and highly recommend it.

Kathe - any interests in an Alaskan cruise. I've started looking into them this week.

We are staying at VWL for 8-nights before the cruise, with a couple of wenches we picked up on our Panama Canal cruise.

(Let this be lesson to everyone. Be careful who you speak to before getting on a ship, and while being on a ship.)

Did I say two wenches? Thinking about it, I think there are 3 or four of them in various forms during our stay.

I've only ever done WDW after a cruise before. It will be interesting to do it before this time.

I've been meaning to ask, who is combining this cruise with a stay at WDW, and if so, are you doing it before or after the cruise?

We, for the first time, will be doing WDW before the cruise rather than after.

We fly down on the 10th, staying at our house, and going to Disney at least for 1 day prior to the ship. We are debating if we want to pay $50 a person for MNSSHP :confused3 Then we leave on the Sunday after we get off the ship.

Ahem, I'll address your last comment first. I've done it both ways, and it is a tad difficult to go straight home from the ship. I think because on the cruise I have more of an "I don't want this to be over" feeling than I do in the parks.

pirate:pirate: I guess I don't mind being a wench pirate:pirate:

We're staying for five nights after cruise. We stay off property in Staybridge Suites near Pirates Cove mini golf and DTD. We already have our WDW tickets. I'm going to try booking a dinner at Ohana and a Princess luncheon at the Castle.....I know Ian....you made me a better offer and I fully accept, but I still want to eat in the Castle too. I'll probably also book a dinner at Emeril's Tchoup Chop restaurant in Universal's Royal Pacific hotel. We have been there before and love it. We will have a car so it's no problem getting around. Then of course there's always Mimi's Cafe where we meet up with Monica. We might have to extend our vacation just to get all of our dinners in....haha.

Oh yea, I almost forgot.....we're going to spend some time on the water in the mouse boats....forget what they call them now....and we're going to throw down a challenge to Peg and Jose for a race! Should be a lot of fun. Anyone else staying after cruise want to get in on the action?

We always do Cocoa Beach before cruise because I have to be on the ocean near the port as soon as I get into town. I'm just too excited to get on that boat that I have to be close by it until it's time to board. I also have to get to the port as soon as it opens on boarding day. I just can't contain my excitement.

After cruise I can never go straight home. My heart sinks and I'm feeling sad and depressed. I have to wein myself off the mouse so we go to WDW and it eases my pain. It's easier for me to leave WDW when it's time to go home.

::yes:: An Alaskan cruise is on my "to do" list. So is Hawaii. I'm hoping to do one or the other in 2011 :thumbsup2

I was looking at Alaska with 2011 in mind, a bit early now, but I thought I'd start doing some research.

Mimi's and muffin mania/ Your not in the door 5 minutes before they start foisting muffins on you.

I hope you get your reservation at the castle, if not, you can fall back on:

Ian's House of Princesses - Princesses For All Occasions
Our Royalty Won't Give You a Royal Pain in the Purse

.

Yeah... just don't show up as one of those FAUX princesses... :snooty::snooty::snooty::snooty:

No problem with Mimi's I love muffins and Monica.

Just gotta eat in the Castle one time....no matter the cost....I'll love the ambiance......although, Ian's House of Princesses sounds so very tempting....what an offer, Princesses For All Occasions.....ya can't beat that!

HORRORS!!!

Hi Chelle.....how's the pebble? Or is it a big stone this time?

Just add a little tequila in that lime juice and you won't even notice it anymore!

Deb... don't fall for it...

He rents out the back booth at Denny's...

Pebble is a rock - no fun... can't get much done on pain killers... :sad2:

brb... have to go get lime juice...

Tequila won't mix with Vicodin... :scared:

hahaha.....maybe I better hold out for the castle.

OMG....that sounds aweful. All I can do on pain killers is sleep until it goes away. So sorry. Hope it's over soon. Hugs!:hug::hug:

I thought my 90 days for booking Ohana was tomorrow. So I went to the site to see if I could book it now since it's past midnight. NOPE. It says that I can currently only book up to Sept 17th. I want to book for the 20th. That means I have another 3 days to wait, can't do it tomorrow. :confused3

I looked at the Princess lunch and dinner in the castle. I think I like the food better for the dinner. I'll probably try to book that instead. I want to do that on the 21st so I'll have to wait another four days.

The waiting is the worst part.

& I thought I was doing so good too... I got up yesterday, met a friend from High School that was passing through for dinner and went to bed relatively early last night and woke about 3 am with it again... I give... :confused3

Can't you see a specialist and get some help with these since you get them so often and really bad? With today's modern medicine one would think that they can fix this for you. Lime juice and Vicoden hardly seems like the answer.:scared1:
