Where will you be dining the night before the cruise?

I'm voting our group goes to: Kona Cafe in the Poly! :thumbsup2 We'll have some folks on the dining plan, and some folks without park tickets, so we need a resort restaurant. I've only been there for breakfast, and am very anxious to try it for dinner.

.

We may head out to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but if that doesn't happen we will try and join you. None of us have been to the Poly before.

Will this be a kid friendly event? My kids are well behaved, but I wouldn't want to presume that this was a kid friendly event.

It's extremely kid friendly and lots of fun. We took our 6 year old grandson (or 6 at the time) and DIL to it. He loved it. She probably loved it just as much if not more. We had a great time too.

In my opinion this is one of the special ticketed events that's really worth it.

Ian....I believe Kay is asking if DINNER would be a kid friendly event.

We sure can explore the option of a large group meal (meaning everyone on the thread who is in WDW is welcome) *or* some kind of DIS meet on that Friday. Really big groups at a sit-down can be difficult, I think.

Monica...how was the WDW one you guys did for the WBPC arranged? I know we had meets at WDW, the port and the Hyatt and the WDW one was at DTD. Marilyn, were you at the DTD one?

We've got lots of time to mull this over and see what we can come up with....especially when people start coming back to the thread....eventually......

Oh, I see. Then tell me, what exactly is a kid hostile dinner?

We met at the stage at DTD about 4:30... it was a nice meet, but a HOT location... I'd go for something a little more in the shade... even at one of the resorts or something... it was nice because lots of people had different plans for dinner...

Anyone else thinking of doing MNSSHP??? Maybe we could do an earlier meet or maybe a dinner near the Poly or the GF (the GF cafe has lots of room) then we can go outside and watch the Hallowishes from the beach (they are incredible from the resorts...) If you aren't actually doing the party...

Another suggestion if anyone IS interested in the party is to book something lit LTT or somethign in or near the park. Do an early dinner/meet and then go to the party...

HEY YOU GUYS........

We're going to have a full moon on Castaway Cay night.....cool huh? :woohoo:

Also, tomorrow is the day SW Airlines is supposed to open up flights for September.......

nighty-nite!

I would have never credited the British with being overly sensitive. But, one learns something new everyday.

AND, I would say you are one of the people that cannot be ignored (even if one tries [very hard])

If you and Betty Windsor were in a room together, all eyes would be on you. You would outshine Mrs. Windsor every time, no matter how ridiculous her hat.

Thank you Marilyn. In this case I just glaze over when it comes to this cruise and the ports, because looking at the DCL excursions, there is NOTHING I want to do.

I don't want to be given options. I am in desperate need of organizing.

I'm a bit torn really Donna. I fancy going up there, but I think we will just do the Skyride to Paradise Point.
