Just checking in to say hello. We're busy packing for a big cruise. We leave next week.

Woody

Woody,
I'm sure other people know this, but I don't. If you don't mind me asking...you seem to be on a cruise 300 days a year:worship: :worship: Do you work in the cruise industry?? Or do you work??:confused3 Would you like to adopt me and my husband:laughing: :woohoo: Have a(nother) great trip. Vicki

99% sure we will be on this cruise. Hoping to join as soon as we know for sure. The only thing stopping us is that we're waiting for our "free cruise" voucher (for adding DVC points) before we can book it.

I see a few other families with little kids. We have three kids under 5. They are 4yrs (almost 5), 3 yrs, and 9 month old at the time of sailing. This will be our first DCL cruise. The kids are well traveled though, and we visit WDW or DL once a year on average. We look forward to joining in the FE exchange. Looks like fun! Just learning about all this stuff!

Welcome! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :wizard:

Hi Woody :) Have a great cruise! Where are you off to this time?

Glad you checked in Mister! I told Peg about your next adventure and she was GOBSMACKED!

.

Hi Jackie. Hope you are feeling a little better everyday

Hi everyone,

Just found out that MNSSHP starts in early September. There is one MNSSHP on September 11th, if anyone is interested.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

September: 4, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29, 2009
October: 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 2009

Tickets go on sale May 1, 2009
Hours: 7:00 p.m. – midnight, Parade at 8:15 and 10:30, Fireworks at 9:30

(It has been reported that you can actually gain entry to MK from 4pm if you have MNSSHP tickets - I wish I had known that we we last went.)

As an aside to that, if you plan to be in Magic Kingdom on Sept 11th, it will close early for MNSSHP.

--Kay

I love this party, I think the admission is worth it just to watch the parade and fireworks , and I love watching all the little( and big kids!) dressed up in their costumes too :thumbsup2

We'll be in Vancouver from May 27 to June 3.

You betcha! I heard you can see Russia from Alaska.

Hey dude, where's my book?

& by the way Mister... you still owe me post cards from the LAST cruise!!! :snooty:
I owe lots. Ask Visa and MasterCard.

Woody

I'll miss you in Vancouver I think by about 3 weeks...

The book was written by a crew member... so you have a chance to write your own... I think it would be a page turner!!!

Please leave me some King Crabs legs... and if you send me your address... I'LL send you a postcard every day... ;)

Thanks! And thanks for the "welcomes" too!
It might be a while before we can confirm for sure (since we just signed our DVC paperwork March 2nd.) I doubt that the cruise will be booked up within the next two months or something. I'm just one of those obsessive compulsive over-planners! I immediately had to decide which cruise we wanted to take. I'm about to start planning what our FE will look like too! After all we only have 6 months to get ready!

I'll hang out here though so I can get familiar. Looks like you've all been together for a while!

Some of us have cruised together before and some are friends from other DIS threads and some just jumped in and got friendly. Glad to have you join us. If you ever don't understand something--ASK. Sometimes inside jokes happen or references to folks from other threads. "Sorry" in advance. Let us know, we don't want you to feel left out or overwhelmed!

:)

Just booked our flights for the cruise.

$69 BUF-MCO (direct) :thumbsup2
$104 MCO-BUF (1 stop)

A lot cheaper than I thought I'd be paying!

What an amazing journey. I'd love to be able to do a cruise like that someday.:cloud9: You'll have to check in every so often and tell us about your journey.

Great deal! I got airfare last week with Continental. Direct roundtrip $199 including taxes. It seemed way too early to me to get airfare but I was afraid that might be the lowest it would be. Now I have to try to stop myself from checking if it goes down.

Welcome newbies!

Woody, I'm almost speechless. Have fun!

(It has been reported that you can actually gain entry to MK from 4pm if you have MNSSHP tickets - I wish I had known that we we last went.)

You can also enter at 4pm for MVMCP as well. Not sure about the Pirates/Princess parties. :goodvibes

We are cruising on the Magic in September...there are 8 of us. For 5 of us it is our 2nd Disney Cruise.
It is my husband Bill, myself (Cindy) and our kids Lexi (14), Hunter (7) and Brayden (4). Also going is my mom Debbie and my niece Theresa (12) and nephew Matther (11).
Happy Cruising!
Cindy:banana:

:welcome:

Glad to have you aboard.

I am Kay, DH is Neil. We have 2 children DS 9 and DD who will turn 5 the day we board! They don't know we are cruising yet. Trying to keep it a secret for the longest time!

We recently joined this cruise, it seems to be a mad bunch (just the way I like it!)

I didn't see this on the front page, if anyone is interested, here are the dates for advance reservations (I was checking when I can make reservations for the WDW trip the week prior and thought I should look this up too!)

5/30/09 - 105 day mark for Suites, REAS
6/14/09 - 90 day mark for Castaway Club Members
6/29/09 - 75 day mark for all guests

Could we add this to page one? (After someone has sanity checked my dates!!!)

--K

:welcome:WELCOME TO THE NEW FOLKS! :welcome:

K, your dates look correct to me! :thumbsup2

Thinking about doing my taxes...gotta get that refund lined up to send off to Disney VISA...there's a cruise to pay for!
