I intended to give it some careful consideration, but ...


I had been thinking, 1st Wedding Anniversary/22nd Anniversary, but you have given me much more food for thought that never even entered my conscioiusness.

So here it is:

"1ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY/22ND ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH WEDDING PLANNER, GUESTS and BFFs CHERI AND JACKIE WHO WENT ON OUR HONEYMOON TOO, AND A SHIP LOAD OF PEOPLE WHO NEVER MET US AND ARE WONDERING WHY THEY SHOULD EVEN CARE."

Touchy??? I was trying to joke back. That is why I put the laughing smilie in there.

I hate being flamed and sure did not mean to do that to you.

If you really want this full thing on page one, I will post it. If you want to consider it further, that is fine. I was not sure what you wanted and did not want to do it wrong.

Now that we have Nan's input also, this may take a lot of reconsideration .... Take your time Ian and when you have it as you want it and Nan will not slap you, let me know.

(perhaps you will choose to go with something simple as a way to avoid the confrontation ..)

I am so sorry if I upset you. You are such a sweet and kind person I would never want to do that.

(Besides, living in Indianapolis, you're close enough to our house to be in striking distance.)

I actually sort of like what I copied from you and modified, except I'd replace "our wedding planning," with "Nan, our wedding planner" because you know how sensitive THAT woman can be.

I am really starting to look forward to this cruise, which is funny, because I was so ambivalent about it and was close to cancelling (until Jackie threatened me).

Although only January, I'm looking forward to the unwinding.

I'm also looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing old ones again.

I think one of the most wonderful things about the last cruise we went on (the Panama Canal crossing) aside from the experience itself, was the people we met.

There are many of them on this cruise.

To some, it might seem like we all have known each other for years, but the very odd thing is that aside from chatting on a thread, we really didn't know each other until that cruise.

I would have never thought that 1 vacation could have such an impact, or have lasted beyond the cruise itself.

There are so many exciting possibilities about THIS cruise, especially the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.

Ian, I couldn't have said it better or agree more. I think it's a Disneycruise thing. John and I met lifelong friends on our very first Disney cruise in 2001. We cruised again with them in 2006. They are not Disers, but neither were we until we came back from our cruise in 2006 when we heard about this thread for the first time. Then we met soooooo many lifelong friends on our PC cruise in 2008. We will meet and make even more on our Tortola cruise in 2009 with everyone here.

Since Marilyn asked me what I want to do on the WB PC thread for tortola I thought I answer it here to see what everyone else is talking about

I went and looked to see where I'm going...sad huh, I'll just go anywhere the ship leads me

I've been to St Thomas, and we shopped, so this time just a beach and relax will be my desire.

Tortola hmmmmm, I've saved a couple of things, maybe the beach/shopping tour or the shopping/beach tour. Again, mostly wanting to go to see the island and relax, so not to worried about "doing" much of anything on them. What are your plans???

We don't like going off on long excursions. Half a day is long enough for a bit of a leg stretch and viewing of the area. We aren't beach people nor water sports/snorkelling types either. So, I will have to go and have another look. We also have the following week to look at too.
