Has anyone put together a list of potential event (such as "Shots Around the Ship: A Stem to Stern Extravaganza") and meet-ups?

Are there going to be fish gifts?

Also, I've been meaning to ask, what's the scoop with excursions? What are folks planning on doing.

Can someone refresh my memory please...

Who is going to try for:

Palo Brunch?

Palo High Tea?

Palo Dinner?

I've never done a Tea and I would LOVE to if I could get a reservation.. 9 cruises so far and no such luck.. :sad1:

We will also be trying for a Palo dinner for the 6 adults in our sailing group :thumbsup2

Brunch.. we have done it once and it was De Lish so if there is a Dis' Brunch being planned.. Please let me know.. Thanks

We were unable  to get into Palo on our last (1st) Disney cruise. Should we try to do this on our own or have the agent we booked with at MouseFan Travel handle this for us? We really appreciate all the insight you all provide since we are still learning the ins and outs of the cruise world.

I can't wait for LOST!! Except I'll be the one Lost as I forget half the stuff that happened so long ago!:faint:

WELL? What did you think? I spent three hours on the couch, glued to the TV. I hope those poor people on the island don't have to spend the 'next three years' jumping through time. :scared: The first hour 'review' show was very helpful in reminding us of where we left off.

Ian, I don't think I'm going to get anywhere with excursion decisions for a good long time. I'm having trouble even getting family members to acknowledge my e-mails with cruise pictures and insurance information. :sad2: That's why I've been focusing on the WDW portion of the trip right now.

I think things will pick up here around April/May, as we approach final payment and the April Tortola cruise folks get back with information. I also think some of our cruisemates haven't checked in because this trip still might be 'pending' in their minds due to economy situation. I know I didn't post much on the Baltic thread, as I new it was very unlikely that I would be able to make that cruise, and I didn't want to get to 'attached' to everybody...:sad1:

Hope all of Stacy's travel plans go smoothly today!:thumbsup2

....time to hit the shower.....later kids!

Joanie, I've never had my travel agent try and book Palo or any excursions for me. I've always gone on line and done them myself. I don't know many TAs who would go on line at midnight to make a reservation.

As you are now Castaway Club members, you can book at 90 days...provided you have paid in full by then. I'm one of those people on line at 12:01 AM Eastern time snatching up whatever Palo booking I can get. If you are specifically looking for brunch or tea, this is what I would recommend (as theses are only offered on sea days). But don't panic if you miss getting them on line, as there is still a chance that you can get them embarkation day. Go STRAIGHT to the booking area when you board the ship. Location will be noted in the Welcome Aboard navigator you get at check in...it's usually one of the adult bars. You can be 'wait listed' (I just typed WEIGHT listed....kind of applies with Palo) for meals also.

....uh oh....I might me tardy for work now....guess I have to shower FASTER! :lmao:

The best bet is to jump on line and book it yourself once the window opens up for Castaway Club members.

I've NEVER heard of an agent booking it for someone, though perhaps I'm unaware of it happening.

The game plan should be to book it yourself, and grab what you can, even if the date/time isn't perfect.

Then, get on the ship as EARLY as possible, and go stand in line to change your reservation to something more to your liking.

I think I've posted that we will be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary (after 22 years). What's even more interesting is that there are going to be more than just a few people who were at our wedding celebration and one of our wedding planners.

We also have the wenches that were on our honeymoon.

Do you want all this posted on page one post one?

If we get some lists, I can transfer them to posts one or two if that is what people want. Just let me know.

Geez, so touchy. Give someone a complement and ...:confused3 :confused3

I intended to give it some careful consideration, but ...

I had been thinking, 1st Wedding Anniversary/22nd Anniversary, but you have given me much more food for thought that never even entered my conscioiusness.

So here it is:

"1ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY/22ND ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH WEDDING PLANNER, GUESTS and BFFs CHERI AND JACKIE WHO WENT ON OUR HONEYMOON TOO, AND A SHIP LOAD OF PEOPLE WHO NEVER MET US AND ARE WONDERING WHY THEY SHOULD EVEN CARE."
