Here is the response I got from the TA re: linked ressies...

This has all been taken care of and the reason you do not see any of the
linked reservations online via the Disney Cruise Line website is because
once you exceed 4 linked reservations the online system does not have the
ability to show all of them so it does not show any of them. It has been
verified with Disney and at this time there are a total of 10 reservations
linked together.

Well ok then, I think I may have to call Disney directly. If the site does not allow me to add any more because they are not showing up...then Disney will have to help.

Can I get a list of names that we're linked up with? I also need to add Stacy and Vicki and Kathe to my high tea ressie. If they are not linked with us...like Stacy and Vicki....then I'll just use another name that is linked with us and it won't matter when we show up for tea.

Thanks Monica for staying on top of things and taking care of it all. :lovestruc

Deb - sending you a pm

Got it....thanks.

Gotta run Kris and friends up to the mall soon, so I'll call when I get back.

I just checked the DCL site again and they still won't let me add anyone else....just me and John. So I will definitely need to call.

Thanks Monica.;)

ROLLING COOLERS.........alright who here has personally brought on one of those cubed shaped soft sided, rolling coolers????? The DCL site says coolers have to be 22x14x9. Yeah right....seen any that have one dimenstion that is only 9 inches....don't think so! So tell me you have one of those cubed shaped ones, that you packed it full, and it fit through the scanner.

16 x 12 x 9.....easily fits withing the DCL guideline of 22x14x9

Perfecto! :thumbsup2 Thanks for finding it, Ian.

Just want to let y'all know that I got the dimensions for a 'cubed' shaped rolling cooler that someone used and it definately fits through the scanner (lying on it's back). That's 15x18x12 (which is the size I own...but won't be bringing on this trip.

Called Disney dining and made the rest of Peg's ADRs. She did vote to do AK on EMH day, she wanted to be there at 8AM. Problem is....couldn't get their Yak & Yeti lunch till 1PM, which makes for a long morning. Well, they can have a nice lunch before heading back to the resort for a nap and a swim.

They got Kona breakfast, Cape May and Boma dinners, lunch at Chefs de France (I picked that for them) and they'll have a counter service dinner at Tangerine Cafe that night; lunch at Yak & Yeti and they will have a sushi dinner at Kimono's at the Swan. So they've got some meals covered and can 'wing it' for the rest. My sisterly duty is done. :upsidedow

What a sister! I always wanted one... ;)

I've got two...I can share.::yes::

Plus....she didn't ask me to do it, I INSISTED that they have some ADRs. So it's my OCD compulsion that I was satisfying. :lmao::lmao:

And speaking of satisfying compulsions....it's time for lunch!

.

Ma Y'all chat alot in just one week. I will need 2 lanyards. I don't think my 1yo will need one and the inlaws will have to join the board to request some if they like.

I'd be glad to join you at Cabo and any time! ::yes::

Hopefully a stopping point on the Wonder Repo :cool1:

Kay...sending you a PM with more stuff (did you get the e-mail also?)

:rolleyes1 I am sorry, I am forgetting my manners - its been a busy few days. I did get the emails and the PM. :thanks: I owe you a drink :woohoo:

Oh I SO RECOMMEND LaNouba! If you've never seen a Cirque show, you really should do this. It's worth every penny. Grab dinner at Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express before hand...:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Kay, I second Jackie's LaNouba recommendation:thumbsup2 I've seen it twice and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences!

I'd vote for LaNouba too. I've seen it a few times and highly recommend it.

La Nouba has been on my "got to do" list for years. Never quite made it We have seen 3 Cirque shows - we are lucky in that the touring tend to stop here not long after they played in Canada (where they premier). I had notice that there is a new show about to make the rounds - I anticipate (hopefully) that it will be here in early 2010:) Just keeping an eye out for the dates. Hoping I can get half price tickets like I did last time :cool1: Unfortunately the route I use for cheap tickets here doesn't work in Orlando - so I will have to hope for a FL resident rate!

The person who started Cirque is doing well - he is paying to go into Space as a space tourist. That's a pretty penny to drop on a vacation

Kathe - any interests in an Alaskan cruise. I've started looking into them this week.
Isn't that a possible option for the Wonder in 2011 or 2012 when its ported in LA? It will be so neat to have a Disney Ship on this coast :worship: I'll be able to drive (albeit a loooong drive) to the port!

:cheer2:Welcome to the DISboards! And welcome to our happy group!:cheer2:

I saw a nice tote bag size, shoulder strap cooler bags that would be great for just a couple bottles of wine/booze/champagne. Wouldn't be too awful to have to schlep around till the staterooms were ready. I may shop around for one of those. I'd love to bring on my own bottle of Rosa Regale! :thumbsup2

.

In 2008 we took a cube rolling cooler through the xray machine. It wasn't jam packed, but was pretty full. No problems getting in on.

Just a read-out on the survey. The responses are pouring in nicely.

I'll talk about my own activities, I presume most people for Shots Around the Ship really represent 2 people.

So, right now, that means there would be about 30 people, and the survey still has 2 weeks until it closes.

I know that I'll be contacting DCL after that. Our first venue is the Promenade Lounge, which is usually, pretty quiet at 10 PM. I'll have to give DCL a heads up so it is staffed appropriately.

The last time I organized this event, the joint was jumping and it was also loads of fun. I think it acted as an ice breaker, and set up the rest of the cruise nicely.

Well, I'm running down to the corner to the embroidery store to see if they'll do some pillowcases for me....for the great neices!

.

:guilty: Today just stinks!! :guilty: I feel so helpless between my DH, my Dad and my FIL all having a yuky today, and I can't help any of them..

:sad1:

I knew this was going to be a bad one today for DH, but I wasn't even thinking how hard it was going to be on our "Dads" too :sad2:

Sorry you are having a hard time. It sucks big time. I can't imagine what you are all feeling, but I can empathize.:hug::hug: I know how much it sucked for my family when we lost my mum and then my 6 week old niece within 6 weeks of each other. Hang in there! It gets easier. As they say "Time heals..."

Something my sister did was to buy a plaque in EPCOT in memory of my niece. It is on one of the big walls near the fountains as you pass through the entry gates.

More hugs:grouphug:

That reminded me that I was going to order some off ebay. Can I find the seller again :surfweb: NO! :sad2:

I am soooo hoping we can join in! I did RSVP yes, but as with anything, it is only by permission of our kids (i.e. will they stay in the clubs all night!)

I'll look for her too (someonesgranny...i think). The store had no Disney images, so I'll only use them if I decide to just have the girls names embroidered on. That might not be a bad idea as the four year olds tend to change 'favorites' frequently, I'm told!
