Well.. that was yicky.. :sad2:

DH & I have a reservation for 2 at Palo at 7pm and I tried to get the other 4 Adults in our party to get a Palo ressie too for the same night and time but No such luck.. I couldn't even get 2, 2, and 2 :guilty:

I hope once onboard we can get a table for all 6 of us.. DCL says they don't allow 6 at a table but, I know for a fact, pictures for proof, we have done a party of 6 before... :confused3

There are large round tables that seat more than six. I don't know where they got that information from. I'm sure something can be sorted on embarcation. Good idea to do what Jackie said and book something at least.

yes.. we were in that round booth with 2 other couples back in Jan of 08, I believe.. I did make 2 reservations so at least we have something..

I don't think we've selected an official time and meeting place. My vote ALWAYS goes to Promonade Lounge at 3PM. :thumbsup2

It's in out of the heat, with plenty of chairs and a waiter and bar tender and air conditioning. Some groups meet by the kids or family pool or up on deck 10, but it's very hard for a group of any size to congregate, few places to sit and often difficult to hear. If we are passing out laynards and things like that, that seems to be easier to do inside too.

We can include the lanyard ? too - at this point only 23 have been requested - 1 place has a minimum order of 50 and 1 has a minimum order of 100.

How much are the lanyards? I think I got confused because there was talk about perhaps a few people sharing the cost of them for FE gifts so I wasn't sure if that was happening or if people were ordering on their own.

I'll go see about getting quotes today - I was trying to get an idea of how many people wanted them (to see which company I'd be more likely to go with).

Nothing has been decided yet as to whether this is a group FE gift or individual cost.....I'll post cost once I get the quote :thumbsup2

Just a note to everyone. I'll keep the survey open until July 10th.

That should provide plenty of time for any last minute joiners, plus let the FE folks get settled and order/buy goodies. July 10th will be 7 weeks before the cruise.

Done.....now my question to everyone actually is what about the GOAA.....Geezers Of All Ages.....meeting at the cove cafe on a certain night and time.....yet to be decided. Does anyone want to organize this?

Also should we mention the DIS meet party onboard at Promenandes 3PM on Embarkation day? This is where we'll be handing out Lanyards.

Just some thoughts.

OK, I'm re-considering the FE thing. Looked at my pics from our 2008 Mexican Riviera cruise earlier and it made me wanna join in after all! Is there time to sign up and (more importantly) how many seem to be joining in..? :rolleyes:

Looks like 3:00 Promanade Lounge is getting to be a popular DIS meet time and location. Shall I list that on page 1 post 1 too?

We have had some of the missing cruisers check in on the Thread, some by PM and some are not coming. Jackie's idea is working at pulling out some lurkers too--hurray!!
