Hi,
Have waited to post to be sure I had all my "ducks" in order. DH David, and me, DW Judi, signed up for this cruise last November (2009) when we were on the Thanksgiving Magic Eastern cruise with a whole bunch of our family. It was wonderful! We will be celebrating our 45th anniversary and my b'day.
We are flying into Madrid on 1 Sep and exploring a little bit of Spain before landing in Barcelona. We are super excited.

We were part of the Turkey Day Gang 2009 and loved participating in all things "dis." We have our cabin assignment and late dining.

I vote to start a new thread. Carys might be relieved and it will get things moving forward.JMHO

I feel that the members of this thread are used to nothing happening for so long they have stopped visiting. I think once Karen knows she has the vacation time she will get this thread changed. If she can't have the leave(and we so hope she can) then Claire(Pinky) has offered too. With Noel hopefully onboard then things will soon liven up!!!

I don't write very much in this thread since we're not 100 % sure that we can go.
We had hoped that we could bring along a little new baby, but thats not the case We have gone through several IVFs with no luck. I have just had an operation that hopefully will help us, but if I get pregnant now, we can't go in September.

So I will not know until about Christmas time if we're going or not. But I really enjoy reading this thread and love that more people write now as we're getting closer.

i'm more than happy to start the new thread and keep it updated, but if its ok with everyone i'll wait til next week before i start it, as i'm still waiting to hear from my boss if i'm actually allowed the three weeks off or not..... i dont want to start a new one then have to leave again

I am for a new thread as well. You are very wise to wait until you can go for sure to volunteer as if your plans change it makes it very hard for someone else to pick up the new thread. That is the most basic reason I am not volunteering at this point as I am 40/60 we can go at this point due to DH's job schedule.

I subscribed to this thread a few months ago, but didn’t want to start posting until I had been on the Sept 2010 Transatlantic cruise.
I just wanted to make sure that we loved the first crossing/cruise enough to do it all again.
Well we did and I am signing up for real now and hoping to start getting to know you all over the coming months.

I recognise some names from 2010 and have met some of you, so another ‘hello’ to you and a special hello to Marilyn.(grandmaz) .

I also think it would be a good idea to start again. The slowness of this thread was another reason I held of posting until now.
