I can't believe we're getting so close. We just got our new digital camera and I'm so ready to go and use it. I will be taking tons of pics. I already have a disney album and disny stickers waiting for all my pics when I get home. I can't wait. I just got done yesterday with my my WDW trip from 2003 so I can't wait to do another disney album.

You are too organised!!!! I'm still working on our 2003 trip. I have exactly 5 pages of the scrapbook completed, and a huge pile of "stuff"!

But aren't digital pictures the best! I love being able to get rid of the horrid ones and reshoot right then and there, before you get home and discover you've chopped off everyone's heads or feet. :)

We're getting married in Key West on Smathers Beach at 6pm. Then we'll be watching the sunset at Mallory Square from 7-8, then back onboard for pictures and dinner!

5:15 works for us! My dd is 9 and going into the lab anyone else with a child near her age or going into the lab? I know she would love to meet some new friends! We are so excited I keep checking the DCL site every day to see if we've gotten a room assignment yet. Everybody have a great week and each day brings us closer to the CRUISE!!

Hi, We have a DS 3 mos short of 9 and will be going to the Lab, too. We booked through AAA (5/04) and our room # is 6584. We're interested in meeting folks before dinner, if we can squeeze it in. Our dinner rotation is the early seating. Are you planning on attending the Formal Night? We are still deciding as we will need to purchase "formal wear". :confused3

We just switched our 4 night to the 7 night the beginning of July so we are waitlisted for first seating. I would really like to get the early seating but at this point I am just really happy to be on the ship and will go with the flow. Yep, we are going to formal night if I can find an outfit. My DH is going to wear a suit and if my dd can pull herself away from the lab she will wear her princess dress. Our first cruise was a 4 night (shortened by the hurricaine) and she didn't want to leave the club and never ate dinner with us. Although this time she said she wants to eat in Animators. She starts school tommorrow, so I know she will be looking forward to going on the cruise, (when she finds out, we are suprising her).

Me the the DW have been debating whether we should skip formal night altogether. The wife would want a new dress, and the boy and I could use a new suit as well. Yada, yada, yada. After mulling it over we decided that we shouldn't miss it. I'll be renting tuxes for me and the boy and the DW will be shopping for a new dress. It'll definately be a "Kodak moment" and those don't come around too often.

I see your from Tampa. My in-laws spend the winter months in Zephyrhills to escape the Buffalo winters. We were down there for a visit at Easter time. Love your airport!

34 more days!

Good morning,

Wonder when we are going to start getting our docs?

Has anyone gotten theirs yet?

Oh, I just wanted to say 33 more days!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hooray for 33 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the documents should be coming any day now. There are lots of people going on the Eastern cruise right before us that have started getting theirs so ours shouldn't be far behind!

Woj68,

I'm glad you're not skipping formal night because it truly is a rare opportunity. I find myself pretending I'm sailing across the atlantic in the days of the old oceanliners, perhaps on the Titanic, but without the iceberg, and enjoy myself thoroughly. :flower:

The first cruise, my DH grumbled a little about the Tux, but he had such a good time, too, that he actually asked me about the tux this time.

I love to think of it as playing dress-up for grownups. The key, I think, is to have fun with it. (here's where I get a -little- loony) Instead of just a guy in a tux, pretend you're the long-lost heir of an elderly count who has called you home, and you and your family are finally revealing your secret and claiming your rightful place. Or perhaps you're a land baron in your own right. Or your wife is just about to receive her first Nobel Prize. I normally play that game for about 2 minutes, then break out in giggles, but it keeps me smiling for the rest of the evening.

:teeth: :rotfl: ;)

That sounds like a wonderful day - and no worries about the catering!

Well, we thought it'd be fun to get back on the ship that we met on and enjoy dinner aboard with our friend and family and new "onboard friends"!

woj68,
Zephyrhills is really close to us, we go over there to eat sometimes. My husband made a comment about skipping formal but I told him I really wanted to go. We don't usually have a reason to get really dressed up so I wanted to get the chance to. Here's to a great week! And one week closer to cruising!

Yea I finally got to check the thread this AM. Our DSL has been down all morning here at work.

Anyways, I really can't wait to meet everyone on here. It seems like we have a great group going. We probably can't make the meeting on key west day. We have our couples massage for the REAS package at like 11am that morning. But we will definitly be at the one after the sailaway party.

Anyone planning to go to the wine tastings or bingo? I really want to do both. DH thinks I'm crazy to want to play bingo but I've heard they have awesome prizes if you win.

I LOVE BINGO!!!!!!!!! I have never won, but I love playing! I don't drink wine, though, so I won't be at that. I saw that on a West Coast personal navigator they had a tequila tasting onboard. I don't know if that was exclusive to the Califoria cruises, but if we have it on ours, my fiance will be the first in line!

It definately should make for a classy evening. Now that we've decided to rent tuxes, I can't wait to see me DS9 all dressed up. Will make a great family photo.

I am going to do the wine tasting, not sure about the bingo, if there are alot of things going on I can't pay attention, so I don't think I would be good at it :confused3 probably a little ADD.

I am looking so forward to meeting all of you, my girls are too. We are just excited to go on vacation!!!!!

The best part about bingo, though is that I think the whole family can go. (Only 18+ can claim the prize, though.) The kids are probably great at it! They are usually much better at those Where's Waldo books than adults! :o)

Wine Tasting and even Bingo sounds fun. But, I'm hoping that they have Bridge tours on the Cruise. I think that would be interesting.

I think that would be fun too, I think I read somewhere that after the Magic goes into dry dock that there will be no more bridge tours, maybe its true don't know.

I would like to do the Galley tour, hear that you get to sample a fresh out of the oven cookie, and you get a trader pin.

They do usually offer the bridge tour on the 7 day. You have to sign up quick, though because they fill fast. And, yes, I have also heard no more tour as of dry dock. I think it's because they will be removing the walkway area that the tour usually goes down during the refurbishment. (It has something to do with the gym expanding.)

Know what else is soooo much fun? The Art of Entertaining classes. There;s a whole bunch of different ones including the Art of the Entree, Art of the Dessert, Art of the Appetizer...etc. They do everything from plate decorating, to napkin folding, to fruit art, to bartending. AND you get to eat or drink anything you make!!!
