Better next door to your best friend than to your parents - but I can understand why you wouldn't want either.

I haven't posted before. DH (drclaws) and I are on this cruise - our second. I started getting excited (waking up at 5 in the morning and thinking about things I needed to buy/pack) about three weeks ago.

Can't wait.

I think Key West is a beautiful place for a wedding.

Well, I called DCL. What is with them lately???? Has anyone else gotten really rude operators??? Not very Disney, if you ask a former Cast Member!

Anyway, she basically said "oh well". I just asked if there was any chance we could be seperated, even by a room! She said it was too late. ( Oh well.

I called them one time and got a really rude guy and I said Sir are you working you MAGIC plan, he said what is that, I said well I guess you are not working it then if you don't know what it is, I told him I would call back, when I did I got a very nice lady that was very helpful, one time I called and got someone that I could not understand. Now I know I am from the south/VA mountains but goodness.
Did you guys have the MAGIC plan at WDW? I can't remember what it stands for been 2 years since I was a cast member.

Nope....that was a Disney Store exclusive. Disney World has the seven guest service guidelines. And let me tell ya....this lady today didn't even use one of them!

YAY!! We finally got our room assignment. We didn't get an upgrade, we are in a 9 on the 5th floor. I was fine weather we got one or not because last time we had a 11 on the Wonder and I really wanted a window this time! Getting our assignment really makes the trip seem closer. Now if we could only get our docs!

Ok, I am confused I went to check where my room is and in the Passporter it is listed as a 6 but under my reservation it says Room #5148 Catagory 9 deluxe oceanview room but the number is for a Cat. 6. So does that mean we did get an upgrade? If so that would be so awsome!!

I use to work at the Disney Store at Valley View, so if you have been in there chances are you have probably seen me. I worked there for 6 years.
I love to go to old Salem days, but I think I am going to miss it this year. Not sure but I think it is on either the week we set sail or the day we come back.
Roanoke is a small place, my ex says he can't date anyone that doesn't know me or someone they know knows me. Makes me think of that Disney song It's A Small World.
I am looking forward to meeting you on the cruise.

I just checked my reservation as well, I was in cat 9 in room 2144 deluxe ocean view, now I am in cat 9 deluxe ocean view room 6562, but when I checked the Disney Cruise Line website ship tour, this is a Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah cat 5 or 6. Wonder what that means.
I thought at first I had turned the last two numbers around, but no it says 6562. I was hoping for an upgrade but didn't think I would get one. I am one happy girl!!!!

I hated stocking those pins, and don't even get me started on inventoring them.That probably wasn't me, for a long time I didn't want to cruise, but about 2 years ago, I decided that for my daughters senior year I wanted to do something special for her, so in June of 04 I booked this trip.

Mom+girls - you definitly have a cat 6 if you're in 6562. We're in 6092 so on the same deck as yall. That's awesome yall got upgraded. I definitly plan on having my AM coffee on the verandah while I wait for my late rising DH to get up. He's not a morning person.

29 days to go! Yeeee-haaaa! Hmmm..... looks like I am one of the only ones that didn't get an upgrade. I guess they didn't have any upgrades for Cat. 12s.

We just were assigned 6003, cat 11, a sideways room. We booked as GTY 12. I was hoping for a higher upgrade, but still thrilled to be onboard.
Anyone ever stay in a sideways 11? I've heard it's alittle bigger than the normal 11.

Another question: Anyone ordering a basket from Shirley? I was thinking of getting one for DH as a surprise but I can't figure out what to put in the thing. Any thoughts?
