24 days for you!! WOOHOOO!!!! I know it's coming fast. We got our MNSSHP tickets today!! They're hard plastic, like the birthday tickets, are they going to normal tickets hard like that? I think they're better that way!!

I wish our APs were hard plastic, mine is starting to look worn already. Dale's still looks great though. I will probably get a replacement for mine while we are there.

:woohoo::woohoo:24 days:woohoo::woohoo:

I can't believe we are this close. I didn't think it would EVER get down to weeks instead of months. I got the suitcases out today and started packing. I have Dallas almost totally packed, except for undies that is. I have a few of my things and Dale's bathing suit. I have the med bags already done and our cleaning stuff packed. Since we are on the DDP I don't think I am going to get a whole bunch of snacks to take. I will get a few so we can have something to eat on the way down.

I have to work the next couple of days so I won't get anything else done until the weekend. I am worried about leaving Niko with Tyler while we are gone because Tyler likes to sleep until 4pm and I can't imagine the mess my house will be when we get home :scared1:. Dale doesn't want to take Niko because he doesn't want to leave him at the kennel for a week. I told him at least at the kennel we would know he is getting fed and taken out because we would be doing it...........:lmao:.

Just an OT update. I got my results from my "test" Monday..........it was normal :woohoo:. When I left Monday the tech said I would hear in about 2 weeks, I hated that it was going to take that long. Now that is off my mind and I don't have to worry anymore :goodvibes.

woohoo for 24 days:):banana::banana: trust me it goes so fast LOL i swear i was just saying 3 weeks till disney LOL now tomorrow its one week:) You are like me with the packing early LOL I hate nothing more than running around like crazy before vacation packing last minute- even though i am sure i will still be doing some of that LOL at least packing earlier helps a lot!

Sorry I haven't answered sooner, I worked yesterday and we were SOOOOOOOOOO busy. I know what a lot of people got for Christmas last year :santa: . I am at work again today and we are expecting 3 more babies :) bringing the total so for this week to 23.

OH girl I am getting antsy now. I start to second guess everything and then start double checking everything :rolleyes1. I would love to change a couple more ADRs, but I am going to leave them alone.

You are under a week now :woohoo:. I will be following you on facebook so keep us updated. I am off this weekend so hopefully I can catch back up on everybodies reports.

I'm so glad the party went well and everyone made it home safe :thumbsup2. I swear I need to get something from my doctor to help with my anxiety when we are traveling. I get so stressed about it I dread getting in the car :sad2:.

I can't believe my baby is 11 it makes me sad to think he will soon decide Mom isn't the coolest, best Mom in the world :sad2:. Good thing he doesn't listen to Tyler now :lmao:.

Glad to hear your test was good too :thumbsup2. I'm glad it is over for a year now.

I am going to go over to your report tonight when I get home. I am sneaking on the computer here are work...........shhhhhhhhhhhh :rolleyes1.

I would never tell. Cause then people would tell on me. I am glad we have free access here. The perk of small office. It is so hard to see your baby get older. You want them to but you don't. I'm glad mine did. She has become a beautiful woman, in looks and spirit and that makes a mom proud for sure. (just in case you didn't know). Enjoy your weekend off. I know I will. We have no plans for a change.

FINALLY, I CAN GET ON AND POST AGAIN .

Thanks for being patient with me Ginny, I haven't been ignoring you.

We all go on the internet at work, but we are not suppose to :rolleyes1.
It is hard to see Dallas get older because I know he is my last baby. I am too old to have anymore. Your girls are beautiful and how ya'll all get along is a testament to what a wonderful mother you are. I know my kids get so mad at me they could spit nails and I know I am not the "Mother of the Year", but if there is ONE thing I know to be true, it is how much I love my kids!!

I am still trying to recover from Friday at work .

Hey! just sent you a msg on FB!
I was saying about costumes; I don't know why but the 50's look seems to fit you and your family in my mind for some reason
I also mentioned I did "madussa" (spelling) that was a fun one...hair teased sprayed neon green w/snakes...I made a matellic (sp)green plain dress...

I ordered my MNSSHP tickets tonight. We will be going on September 29th. I am so excited. I know how much fun we had at the Pirate and Princess party and I know this will be more fun. We are 19 days and 6 hours away from leaving .

I had to say that first. I am still trying to recover from Thursday and Friday at work. We were sooooooooooooooo busy at work Friday. It turned into a very crazy day. We had 3 inductions scheduled, but it didn't quite turn out that way. At 11am we had an emergency C-section for a baby with supra-ventricular tachycardia, we transferred him to the University hospital, then we had a c-section for a mom with hypertension and diabetes, then a repeat c-section in labor, none of this was scheduled. Not to mention a repeat c-section added to the schedule. Then at shift change the L and D nurses ran into the nursery with a baby that was so blue he was black and that put 5 babies in our special care nursery. Needless to say we were whipped.

So on a more Disney note, we are getting excited about the trip. Dale has decided he wants to take the Mazda 3 since it is newer than the Expedition. We had a very bad experience with a car on one of our trips.
We went to our local Flea Market yesterday. It is a large Market and we like to go there when the weather is getting cooler. Dale found a place that makes shirts and he got him and Dallas a t-shirt with a on the back and it says "Thats my dog" :sad2:. He is so crazy about that dog.

Yeah, I still like the 50's idea too. Dallas and I would be the only ones doing it. Dale will go as "That Guy"......:lmao::rotfl2:.

Dana, if it makes you feel better. My girlsl didn't think I was the best mom when they were early to mid teens. This relationship did not begin with Sheri until Austin came along. She then said she knew just exactly what being a mom was all about and the sacrifices that are made. It certainly made a turnaround in her life. When Sandi was around 15 I really couldl have sent her far away for about 10 years and wouldn't have cared. But by the time she was 18 she decided to move out and try life on her own. She had a good job and her truck was paid for. By the time she was 22 she moved back home cause it was cheaper. We did pretty good once she married but again not really close till they got Alex. I feel so blessed that we do like each other. Not just the parent/child relationship but really like them. It will come, it's just an aging process on their part.

Ginny

You did have a busy work day. Poor little babies. I know you are like my friend, you love to see the babies do well and get to go home.

Good on the tickets. I think the 50's theme will be great for the two of you.

With just the 3 of you I would think you will be fine in the smaller car. It's not like a 21 hour drive like it is for us. Good luck. Your time is just closer and closer.

Ginny

I have a pretty good relationship with Amanda, it is Tyler who is being hard. I pray about it and I know he will come around and see that I am not the mean old witch of the south and all I have been saying to him has been for his own good.

I like being busy at work, but I like it to be steady not CRAZY. I do love it when I get to send my babies home. Once in a while I worry about how the baby will fair when they get home with the parents :scared1:.

That is so what my friend says also. He will get better. Being the middle child doesn't help. Seems like they really have a hard time finding themselves. And being the oldest boy he wants to prove himself that he is invincible. Silly boys

Hi Dana:

I'm sorry that you had a bad day at work. It always seems like it comes in spurts......super busy one day and then slow the next. I'd rather have stedy days of work instead.

Your time to leave for Disney is soooooo close. Lucky you! We went to Canton, Texas Saturday. It's a humongous flea market. We spent over 6 hours there and didn't cover half of it.

Have a great Labor Day!

Lisa

You do know it was a full moon on friday, right? That usually causes craziness at work LOL. The 50's theme sounds good, and SOOO glad your ordered your party tickets! That's a good feeling isn't it? That and getting into the teens in your countdown!!

Me, well my sister posted a message on facebook yesterday, one week until she comes, so SHE'S coming around, and has starte packing, my mom, well they STILL haven't put the crap on their shirts yet...and I'm getting antsy. She tells me it will be done, probably next week on monday night! Which of course is last minute LOL. So, it's coming together, and as they're FINALLY coming together, I'm having a hard time not falling apart. My stepmom did my toes, got the tiger stripe on them again, I guess I should go take a picture LOL Look for that later on my ptr!

Anyways, HAPPY labor day!!! I got 4 more work days!! 8 days total!!! YIKES!!! I can almost TASTE the lapu lapu!!! MMMMM!!!

Yeah, I still like the 50's idea too. Dallas and I would be the only ones doing it. Dale will go as "That Guy"......:lmao::rotfl2:.
Dale, just needs blue jeans and a white t-shirt; that he way he is not dressed in costume but fits the theme!

the car won't be bad and Dallas will be alone in the backseat so it should not be a bad fit...and Niko won't be taking up all his space:laughing:

so far so good with my kids:goodvibes
although everyday Gwendolyn says she can't wait until the house is finished...this morning I was putting pork chops in a sweet apple juice brine solution (trying a new grilled receipe) and she makes the comment:guilty:
well don't eat is all I say and she makes the comment I can't wait till the house is finished:confused3

they stay in her dark room w/a small desk lamp to read her school work and he sits on the computer ALL day for two days now! I would be soooooo depressed!

and Dayne says he is pulling a trailor on the last acre in the back of the property -- so I guess we will never get rid of him:rotfl2:

Have a great one!
:wave2:

Too funny. I just tell Sheri she best be getting me a room ready cause I'll be there soon enough. She doesn't always laugh. Oh to be young again. You are probably ready for the house to be done too.

The funny thing is, Tyler acted like a middle child BEFORE he became the middle child :lmao:

I hope tomorrow at work is better. I am sure all the deliveries they would have done today will be scheduled for tomorrow. I am hoping some of the babies who were in special care are now in regular nursery. I am like you Lisa, I don't mind a steady day where I feel like I got something accomplished. Overly busy and I feel like I am cheating my parents and babies because I don't have the time to do teaching.

I can't believe I am now in the teens :woohoo:. I feel better knowing I have my MNSSHP tickets purchased now too. I like going to the flea market. I have been to the one we have here in Mobile and then to one in Gulf Breeze, Fl. The one in Gulf Breeze is small.

I hope you are having a great Labor Day too :thumbsup2.

Yeah, the pull on the water in the body from the moon will cause shifts in fluid balance. I am so glad to have the tickets taken care of. It feels good to know we are getting so close.

I'm glad you have heard from you sister, well sort of. I would mess a shirt up pretty good if I had to do the iron ons. I remember when I was in 8th grade I made a t-shirt with my name on the back........and the "N" was lower than the rest of the letters. I can't wait to see the toes. I want to do a mouse head on mine but I can't find a nail pen.

I haven't had a lapu lapu, where can you get them? And how do you pronounce it?.........lol. I can just hear my southern accent asking for it now :lmao:.

I hope you and Tyler have a GREAT Labor Day :cool1:.

That is what I was gonna do for Dallas. He has a white t-shirt and some blue jeans. I have hair gel so I can get his hair in a duck tail. He will be so cute :thumbsup2.

I'm really blessed that my kids are good too, Tyler is just frustrating at times. The boy would argue with a tree stump :rotfl2:. He does the same thing as Gwendolyn, he stays in his room on the computer all the time. I call him Herman The Hermit, he didn't have a clue who I was talking about the first time I called him that :rolleyes1. Boy that really made me feel old.

I told Dale the kids could live with us forever if they wanted to. He even made the comment one time that when we retire it will be me, him, Tyler and Dallas traveling around in our travel trailer :lmao:.

I would let my kids, in laws and grandkids all live with me in an instant. I actually would like it if they would. Of course my house would be a bit bigger. No one gets my room. I have a feeling one of these days we won't be able to all go together on a vacay. I'm not sure how I will handle that situation.

Thanks!! I spent today cleaning....BLAH!!! I forgot to take a picture....I'll go do that now real quick. They're REALLY cute!! I gotta clean off my memory card anyways before the trip!!! :) So, I think I'm ready, just gotta pack some shorts, I got a pair of teva tennies coming in tomorrow, I already had a pair like it, so I know how they are...not much breaking in, but I'll wear them the rest of the week to be safe. Anyways, good night, and hopefully this week will go quick!!
